We were back in the area today and thought we'd have another look here. The barbed wire and star picket have been removed from GZ but a fence has gone up around it making me think it is on private property. Please can the owners have a look!
I got muggled out at this one by a couple of blokes who just would not stop chatting about stuff !!
One of them should have been at work !! [:o]
But I don't think it mattered.
I could see GZ from close up and it did not look promising for a cache hide
I did enjoy the morning tea stop though and skipping some rocks across the clear waters of the creek [^]
The olde wooden bridge is worth a look at from underneath too

Had a look for this one but GZ has a star picket and barbed wire wrapped around it. The flood water in January went way above this cache. Please Storkers would you check it out as there have been no finds here for a year. We'll be back in the area again in the future and will return to have another go then. Thanks!
Couldn't find it GZ appears to have been flooded recently. CO may need to check on this cache.
I'm pleased to add for this one at last, it has been on my radar for a while.
Tried to find on the 20th March on the way home from placing some new caches, but my GPS had me down at the creek bank and indicating that it was about 2m away in the creek, [xx(] oh dear this one has gone MIA again, which was a reasonable conclusion, as with the recent rains the creek had flooded up to the bridge.
Contacted Team Benders as they were the previous finders, assured that it was not in the creek, time to have another go, success this time.
Although everything in the container was dry, fortunately for ziploc bags, it had a lot of water in it, had a bit of time, dried everything out, added another ziploc bag, just to be safe, and returned the cache to its rightful hide.
It does need a new container, (Water Proof), sorry I couldn't ablige, didn't have any 1kg honey jars with me.
Great to see lots of road works, but watch out for pot holes on the older parts of the road

Actually found site yesterday and decided previous log entry of being lost in flooding was correct. Returned today and replaced cache with new regular size, and some small swaps with new log etc. Cheers. Email sent to owner, as since we are from Victoria would be a lil hard for us to maintain this cache. Loved the spot.

Had a nice drive. Pretty area. Looked for cache, and even with clues, I suspect its been washed away with floods. May need owner to check. Thanks for a nice drive and will do again another day.
after staying with friends in the area
opted to head back north via the inland route
... & grab a few caches along the way
1st one for the day
all good here
- on to the next one

Found on the way up to Ban Ban Springs. Great little town and the road in and out is almost completly sealed now. Thanks.
Found this one while with captain terror. nice hiding spot here, not far from my farm. TFTC
The toilet cleaner man had a suspicious look at us as we extracted this one from its hiding spot. nice part of the world out this way. TFTC
Nice easy find, a little late in logging it on the net, but we finally remembered to do it.

Found at 1045 today. Not too hard to find as there is quite a geotrail down to GZ. TNLN TFTC> Last entry in log indicates TB Left. Defintely no TB in cache.
Passing through on a trip from Gympie to Kilkivan this was a nice spot for a Cuppa Soup for lunch. Oh the cache was easy, safe and sound. TFTC TN left token.
Out with d.d.dudes for the day we were running out of time but managed to grab this one at 1250hrs. Lovely little spot which would be perfect on a long drive. The question was, could we get one more before heading back south to grab the kids from school!

Made note of this cache a few days ago and intended to collect it on my way home from the Downs, unfortunately I decided to stay an extra night in the Bunya's and was pipped at the post by a local. Had a good rest in a nice locale whilst a muggle motorist stopped and exercised his dog. IN - Say no to cradk TB, OUT - Timmy TB. TFTC.
Nice and easy to start the day off a FTF as well which is a bonus. Been through Widgee I don't know how often but this is the first time to call into this Park
