After spending a couple of days with Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, DTY73, Tankengine, Youban, SmittenGranny, Contesta, Gliss! Domsky, Fitzy_1965, and Minniek caching in Bathurst as a group, barb2e and I are on day 4 of our Bathurst adventure. Today we are winding our way back home via a few counties, I haven't logged yet. Quick find here TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Day 15 of my interstate trip. Today I left Grenfell and continued to head closer to Sydney. Tonight I stayed in the Mount York Campground unfortunetally it was dark when I arrived so had to wait till morning to see how nice the views from this spot. I managed to find 19 caches today and ended up with 3 DNF's today.Nice easy one on my way out of town.TFTC suzukifreak_1
*In the area with woolwood9.* Weather caused some frustration with rain off and on again today with some heavy showers.Searching in many cases fairly unpleasant, with long wet grass. We managed to get the container found here! Loving this side road. Thanks for the cache. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. #2611A quick park and grab during my road trip back to Sydney from Albury after finished working broadcasting the BBLTFTC
Great stump. No need to jump fence. No cache container as per previous caches, so left a new temporary container and new log. Hope that's ok.
Found the critter but couldn't extract the log.Changed my mind on the DNF after having a better look.
OCW Irondale on the way to the Rutherglen Mega event today. We focused on caches in Blaney, Carcoar and Gundagai (where we also stayed the night). All around a great day with some solved puzzles in the map that got found and we ended up picking up 60 cents worth of return and earn cans, found a fifty cent coin, a really decent reusable drink bottle, a ring, and some fresh figs from a tree near Coolac.
This one was found after a systematic search - the container is in good condition but the log is macerated inside. TFTC!

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
On the way from Cowra to Sydney, ending our 11 day road trip we picked up a few caches.
Cache was found, but log roll is in a bad shape.

Find 1 Day 3 of our work trip to Melbourne.
Easy find. I spent 5 minutes trying to get the log out that was stuck and decided to take a photo I hope that’s ok. The log aka stump is a perfect size to put a small or regular in the hole. Photo bellow for proof of find. Nice detour to come through coroar.

#5982- I have TRLT caches in Carcoar so the area is very familiar. A simple hide, but the log is very damp and was hard to retrieve and replace. Some amazing erosion from the creek nearby. Thanks
Today I managed to find 75 Caches for the day with my friend Sui_001 & Loci612. It was an amazing day of caching. We had 2x DNFs for the day. We spent a total of 12 hours caching before I had to head home to do daddy duties. One of the highlights for the day was finding some Persons Tree Frogs near one of the caches that we found. Lots of driving to find the caches today. In fact it was 636 kms in total. I love geocaching so much and the friends I have made along the way make it all worthwhile. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache, but with 75 finds today it is hard to write a different one for each cache.
ALL CACHES FOUND TODAY WERE SIGNED DSD OR DARKSIDEDAN OR AB OR ADVENTURE BOYS. MOSTLY ALL CACHES WERE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH LOTS OF ROOM IN THE LOGBOOK UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. THANKS FOR THE CACHE AND THE ADVENTURE. I HAVE INCLUDED SOME RAMDOM PHOTOS WITH THIS LOG. THE PHOTOS ARE NOT ABOUT THIS CACHE SO NO POINT LOOKING AT THEM THINKING THAT THEY ARE A SPOILER PHOTO.
ADVENTURE BOYS FOREVER...!!!
I have included my one of a kind Geocache Poem with this log for future readers to enjoy.
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
I am currently writing more detailed logs than usual. This is because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author" Badge. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to write an average of one hundred words or more in each Found It log. As of 9th November 2020 my average was 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 7600 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 160 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.

"Food was cold, the burrito was so poorly wrapped that it looks like it was just scrunched up in a ball and it fell apart whilst trying to eat it. There were no serviettes to clean up the mess created by the explosion the bad wrapping created. There was too much garlic sauce that made it even messier to clean up. I felt that the burrito artist had very little idea what an actual burrito looks like and how it's meant to function in the whole fast-food convenience world. The one saving grace was that it actually tasted like a burrito. I will not be ordering from this store again for quite some time."
Do you think you're living an ordinary life? You are so mistaken it's difficult to even explain. The mere fact that you exist makes you extraordinary. The odds of you existing are less than winning the lottery, but here you are. Are you going to let this extraordinary opportunity pass?
At that moment he had a thought that he'd never imagine he'd consider. "I could just cheat," he thought, "and that would solve the problem." He tried to move on from the thought but it was persistent. It didn't want to go away and, if he was honest with himself, he didn't want it to.
She patiently waited for his number to be called. She had no desire to be there, but her mom had insisted that she go. She's resisted at first, but over time she realized it was simply easier to appease her and go. Mom tended to be that way. She would keep insisting until you wore down and did what she wanted. So, here she sat, patiently waiting for her number to be called.

Tftc suzukiFreak_1, plenty of ants guarding this cache. Quickly found on a drive to Carcoar.
Found, thought it was muggled because it is so tiny! But @rabbit3609 found it!

Not quite positioned in accordance with the hint but that was rectified on replacement. TFTC suzukifreak_1
It was time to return and try to finish off the remaining TRLT series with Rapidlywild. Probably not the best time to go with rain and snow forecast, but we have never let the weather stop us before. So packed all the winter woollies, thermals, gloves and beanies and off we went.
We nearly got all the elements over the weekend even in one day snow, rain, fog, sun and wind but there was also some pleasant weather thrown in there for good measure. Roads in some places were a little hair raising but the trusty 4WD got us through safe and sound.
With permission from some of the cache owners we replaced saturated logs and on a few occasions caches.
All in all a good and successful long weekend away, lovely looking countryside and views along the way.
Thanks for the hide suzukifreak_1 and thanks for another fun filled weekend away RWLD.

Last month, FFLL and I begun the tackle against the TRLT series and managed to get a huge chunk done. Well, we decided we wanted to get it finished so with snow on the forecast, we bit the bullet and packed the thermals and set off to have some fun. We had rain, fog, frost and even snow but it was an awesome weekend for sure We reached out to the cache owners of the ones we had to complete to inform them of our intentions and also advise that we were happy to complete replacement maintenance if required, so we came across a few that after extensive searches, we didnt locate, so we replaced as approved by the CO. A large number of replacement log sheets left along the way also to assist with the caches with soggy log books.
Lots of places visited across the weekend, including lots of old churches and old cemeteries across the land.
Thanks for the hide suzukifreak_1 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

After visiting the nearby cemetery to find some of our distant relatives (as well as the cache there), we managed to find a park right near the bridge for a quick find. It took longer to get the logbook out funnily enough, but all was good in the end. Cool location and a nice hide - TFTC suzukifreak_1!

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
Took the short detour through Carcoar as I needed a pit stop. Quick find here TFTC
Our second day trip with Wilbert67 at Bathurst and surrounding area collecting caches, the main aim is to grab the TRLT and everything in between. Thank you to all the COs for their hides.
Our second big day around Bathurst. Again J+J.AU and me are fit to tackle the TRLT trail and all other caches on our route. Really great, but warm weather again made for an exhausting day. Enjoyed all the fantastic views on this scenic trip. Thanks to all the cache owners for puttinh them out there!

On our way to visit family in Dubbo and what better way then to stop a few times along the roads for some smiley faces. Must admit 2018 has got off to a slow start for us. We try to maintain 1000+ finds a year so have some hard yards ahead haha.
