Tracked through the bush as road was signed authorised only got many scratches and bruises walked back along the road lol tftc
This one is definitely one for the numbers x big, fat round ones. We came out before breakfast when there was a relatively cool breeze. Spotted lots of kangaroo footprints and tail prints on the roadway. Followed a cachers trail into GZ or maybe a roo trail for those wise to the Confluence. Thanks dSo much for setting and maintaining this great cache. A favourite for us. T the three monkeys TB LN SL TFTC Cheers Gztek
We found your cache today 25 July 2024 4:06pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC NTSTROM
Great set of numbers! Too good to not come find this one! Definitely appreciate the cache placement here, thanks for highlighting!
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT.Now with a detour to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island and finally along the Savannah Way through Hells Gate, then Nhulunbuy and Wadeye.TFTC. A sidetrack to Litchfield National Park for a few hours turned into a couple of days.A nice interesting cache just for the perfect numbers. GZ was also interesting with the ants building away.
In Darwin for a few days from Perth doing the touristy thing and picking up few smilies here and there when I get the chance. Today we took a road trip through Litchfield NP some great sights to see with some amazing waterfalls.Had a few picked out for the trip and this one was a must do. I do love a confluence and this is now my 2nd. Parked the rental in shade for the missus and bush bashed the 60 odd meters to GZ where the quick find was made. Spent a couple of minutes trying to get the money shot of the GPSr but it wouldn't play the game. All good though thanks for bringing me here awarding a favourite.Oh, and I dropped a TB here to continue his journey.NTSTROM I found your cache at 10:43am, this was the 2nd of 7 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8412. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC
Well my whirl wind tour of 5 states in 3 weeks has started and after reaching the SA border and now the NT border it was time to locate a few caches here or there as I won’t be doing that much caching on this trip as I’m with muggle friends.
We have finally reached another spot where we are staying for 4 nights this time to really enjoy the sights of Litchfield NP.
So after another casual night I got up early and headed off to find a few caches before they got out of bed.
This is one of the ones that I did.
Heading back to camp I soon found the conveniently placed dirt road and parked nearby.
Headed off in my good hiking thongs and bade it to GZ.
I had not heard of this before but as they say you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Thanks NTSTROM TFTC.

After a day out in Litchfield doing some of the sights we retired to our accommodation, then, to make the most of the available daylight headed out to Batchelor for some more finds.
These are fun… interesting coordinates! Good container too, keeping everything dry. We took a TB.

Terrific bit of interesting info for us. We left a cute TB and hope this little bunny will soon be in greener pastures elsewhere. Cheers and tftc
Thanks NTSTROM for the chance to log a DCP cache. The coordinates near home are in Port Phillip bay off Beaumaris- which a few years ago a group of geocachers tried to reach by kayak and log but we all couldn’t quite stay still in the slightly rough tide. (Virtual) This morning I woke early in our accommodation in Batchelor and drove up to get the two caches close to the turn off here into Litchfield NP.
Gingerly I drove down the “restricted “
Road in the hire car. With the sunrise light I thought I was driving into Area 51.
I parked where there was a widening of the road. I headed to the cache on foot. The way is not that cumbersome.
Wow. Spot on coordinates and cache all good. Replaced as found. Snap shot on IPhone app. Fav from me.

We spent two days exploring Litchfield National Park, enjoying the gorgeous landscapes and the occasional swim. With some geocaching thrown in, it was even better.

This location was a great curiosity for us.
Before heading to this one we did a bit of a Google search to find out a little bit more about the Degree of Confluence. Aah! Now we understand, and have since searched to find where else this exists in Australia.
Thanks NTSTROM.

And easy find while I’m staying overnight in the area. Dropped a trackable which hopes to head overseas. Hopefully a cacher can assist with its travels.

A short walk gad it un sight! Bull ant guardians also were keeping guard. The cache is in good order. Tftc
Quick find but the bill ants guarding the cache were a bit vicious. Thank for taking us on this journey.

Today was an adventure down to Litchfoeld NP for the next leg in the Great Aussie Icon Hunt. It started off soooo good, until we got to about 8 klm from the turnoff and we hit the roadworks, blocking off both sides of the road and using traffic lights to control. 1 and half hours later we get to the turn off, passing about 5 caches due to the bumber to bumber traffic.
Picked up a few and also a couple of DNF's, but all good when we got to the Bitter Springs Tavern for lunch 3pm, and a cooling ale.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving around in the Litchfield NP.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'NTSTROM' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'DCP S13 degrees E131 degrees' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

Final cache for the day as we headed out of Litchfield. Pleased to see that there was a dirt road that we could walk on most of the way to this one as I thought it might have been a bush-bash of several hundred metres. Once at GZ, it was an easy find. Watch out for the ants! TFTC!

Love finding Confluence caches. Have one close to home and have found some others on our travels. Cache was an easy find and finding the actual confluence point was also fun. The gps was behaving itself for us today. TFTC
We love finding confluences, so even though we weren't going to Litchfield today we headed out this way to grab this one. We found the cache then walked around to find the magic numbers on the gps. Only one of them would settle, but that was good enough. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here

Family of 6 travelled around Australia in a camper trailer on the holiday road trip of our lives. It's been a long time since we came home, but I kept good notes and am now reliving our trip by logging the caches we found on our travels.

Decided to grab a couple of caches to mark the day - interesting cache - our first confluence point I believe! Thanks for teaching us what it even is!

Hi there NTSTROM - today is a driving day between Darwin and Rum Jungle, and began with a few caches along the Stuart Highway. This cache was found after setting up site at the Banyan Tree Caravan Park and heading out for a quick look at Rum Jungle Lake. Until getting out here I had no idea that there was a confluence point anywhere close by, let alone a cache at one. The cache and log are in good condition - SL. This is our find #5010 - thanks to NTSTROM for this cache.
After the hype of finding my first 5/5 yesterday, I thought today would be a quiet one as we continue our meandering across northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Pa was very generous in the afternoon but we didn't manage to find many caches as we travelled to Batchelor where we are camped.
After setting up camp and having lunch, Pa became my chauffeur to find some more local caches. This was #9, our final cache for the day. I managed to walk around in circles for quite a while, as Monty, aka my GPSr, just didn't want to settle. Eventually I had CIH, added my stamp to the log and replaced it exactly where I found it. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to enjoy NTSTROM

For some time now there has been a challenge cache near home that required 10+ finds in all states of
Australia so we have slowly been doing that. A few months ago with only NT & WA left to go we setup a
trip to do a flying weeks visit to each state to complete the challenge. We also setup an event while
in Darwin and had a great meet up.
So myself, Fleabag- & GT02 set about solving some puzzles and working out a plan to complete the
challenge along with doing some tourist activities while travelling. Now back home and the challenge
is complete. Just need to go and collect it.
On an awesome day trip down in Litchfield national park we went for a walk and found this one. We also needed it for a confluence WhereIGo we are working on in Melbourne.
Thanks NTSTROM for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
