On Holidays At Caloundra last day cruising around Caching with Hatzofff RoddyC and Mumma Bear And The Cubs (MummaBear66, Princess1005, DFC_JLK2019, T1ny96 and Captain Moneky96) so we decided to target some oldies aswell as many other caches as we can. It was a nice quick find for us as my Buddy's Cords were spot on. But some of our Cords weren't spot on for the rest of us. TFTC Konie

With hatzofff and crew. Nice find.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:05 AM on October 25, 2024. TFTC, Konie.
Me and giant rock walls have a bad history of dnfs. But I liked this one as it had nice clear terrain access to it. I have a torch specifically for caches like this so got it and started a very intensive search but really that was overkill as when I got to exact coords the cache was easily spotted. I've noticed the co does typically have very accurate coords so that helps.Cheers
An event on the Sunshine Coast is enough to lure me up for the afternoon and collect a few off my ever-shrinking "to-do" list. Given simple geography and distance, most of that list is up here. This is on that list, and so after the event, I head for three more geocaches, and this is the second.Upon arriving, it was raining rather hard, and by now, dark. I parked on the side street for a while, waiting for the shower to pass, but think I only managed to attract attention of a resident. I left, scooped around the corner and found in my tiny car I could park basically at GZ. Out of the way, and out of view. With a few raindrops still falling, and using my phone torch, I commenced the hunt. Back and forth just once and spotted the hide lower than expected on my second pass. Happy days. I kept everything dry and signed my name at 17:30 before replacing as found. I also like how the road here is spelled - I get precious about this name! Thanks for this geocache, Konie
Swung by here after work yesterday to claim this green dot on my map that has been there for quite a while. I have tried and failed to find this cache on multiple occasions but failed, today however thanks to a photo in a log I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache Konie!
Geocaching at night really makes it so much harder. Found some great hiding spots but didn’t find it.
On a quick visit from Geelong to Tewantin to visit my Parents. We came over to see the waterfall at Buderim.Took us a while to find, but with a few hints from photos in logs we finally found it. Picked up a trackable to travel on.TFTC
Found on the 15th January 2023 - Left North Pole Geo Tracker and swapped out gold band.
After leaving the Forest area, we stopped here.
Today we went for another visit to the Sunny Coast, rather more inland. So thank you to all COs who had put out caches for us to find.
We had couple of caches in our mind, and we started in Buderim.

Out with Mr CuriousQuest, finding a few caches. After catching up with the CO for coffee and a cache, we headed to this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed. We returned everything as found, then continued on our way. TFTC
Logbook replaced.
I left the old logbook in place for now for those that like that sort of thing.

Stanmer Crustley was the leader of an expedition to Loko, a region in Uberwald surrounded by a ring of mountains. The heart of the ring of mountains, a very deep valley and a lot of caves, contained all sorts of curiously shaped magical creatures like centaurs and fauns. In one of the caves, he discovered a set of scrolls which he named the Scrolls of Loko, and he brought them back to Ankh-Morpork (where they now reside, in the Library). The fact that the scrolls had been hidden in a cave inside sealed containers with 'do not open' inscribed on the side in several major languages did not deter the wizards from opening them and reading the contents. "It just goes to show how important the darn things are".
The dry and fussy wizard Sensibility Bustle would later use one of the scrolls in his research into Hivers and followed its instructions to build a device to trap one.
A few months after the expedition, Stanmer died of planets, a very rare magical disease. All the other members of his expedition also contracted rare magical diseases and died. It was suggested that there was a curse of some kind on Loko.

Out today with Willis007 and Bella collecting caches on the sunshine coast, yes for a challenge and for an event. E smileys Celebration event and new adventure lab, both a great time.
This was our last one for the day and it was an oldie, bonus. Oh then we saw it was a rock wall, willis007 does not like rock walls, lol, oh and cemetery multi’s, lol. Anyway we pulled up and started our look around. Wow this area has changed since the cache has been in. We searched for a little bit and then came up with the find, awesome to see the old original log book. We found a space and signed. Thanks for the placement and keeping this one going. A favourite point from me for this cache.

On the lovely Sunshine Coast today for the Community Celebration Event with chamad and geopup, we stopped at some target caches on our journey south towards Brisbane.
Just one more says chamad ... oh, great, a rock wall!! Did he not remember what happened yesterday with my 'one more' - a cache in a pile of rocks which ended with a DNF!
A different story here, chamad came up with the goods after a couple of minutes. Log signed, all replaced as found.
Thanks Konie for placing and maintaining the cache.

Somewhere along the line, I started calling Mrs Woodyrothwell a rock wall officianado. Her strike rate is well above average and I just wished she treated her lotto entries with the same amount of prestige.
I don’t know what a bell curve is, but if I plotted her rock wall finds on a graph it would be better than Quasimodo’s spine. Normally I just look at the rocks with a blank stare that matches all the other emotions my face is capable of. All that botox is keeping me from making it big in the movie industry and I only inject it in other parts of my body to make it look bigger.
Enough penis talk, we were here to find a cache. Just as expected, my wife found the hide and was happy that her run of rock wall caches was still intact. I can’t remember the reason I married her (apart from the whole vagina thing) but the added benefit is that rock wall caches never get left unfound. tftc

After an all-terrain CITO to get the day underway, 1MinniMoo and I nicked off to the Sunny Coast to find mostly older caches - like this one. oh a wall. Deep breath. These can be time consuming. But with two sets of eyes, time on our side - and one historical photo in the gallery that led me to a certain stone and .... ooh, there you are my little fellow. Phew. All good here, although the logbook is getting towards full - maybe a few more places on the back cover.
Thanks Konie for entertaining me at this location.

6/3/21 Find #4630
Having attended a CITO to start the day, the rest of the day was planned out relatively meticulously Pprime style. The goal was to grab some older caches around the Sunshine Coast.
We pulled up
Here and began the search as cars flew on past. A bit of back and forth from us both before Pprime began looking at previous logs. Finally Pprime uncovered this hide. Logbook full but we had plenty of room to sign on the back cover.
Thanks for the cache Konie.

Cache checked on my way past.
Original logbook still has space to sign so I won't replace it just yet.
Happy caching

Second update: still not able to find it, searched entire wall with three friends
A great little find with a good selection of swaps. Thanks for the clues and a helpful photo. TFTC.
Driving past to drop the geodaughter at Buderim forest park and declared "there's gotta be a cache in that wall". So while I was doing the parental duties, the hub looked up the map and of course, there was one, and naturally, it was a Konie. Well, we have to do it then! So on our way to our coffee date we stopped and found it immediately. I could see the edge of the container poking out, making it a QEF. Once signed I put back making sure to seal the cave for the next persons fun. Now for that caffeine....
Haha went back for a second try and found it so happy second find for the day with my bestie!!
Very cleverly hidden, the children we’re all over the wall and enjoyed the climbing as much as the find.
TFTC, it was a medium difficulty find but really fun, got to watch out for muggles and go digging a bit.
I walked along the wall 4 times before I spotted the hide.
Another of the oldest 1000 active caches ticked off the list.

Out with the little one today, was a quick find here. He dropped off 2 swaps included a DS Game! TFTC
I hung back and let sunshine58 find this one, as i seemed to be frustratingly uncovering them all first. Hah!
Thanks konie for another old coast cache!

Heading to Buderim today to have lunch with some friends, we took a small detour here to find a geocache in this area. Often rock wall caching has proven to be out nemesis, however today, with such a good sized container, it was a quick find.
Beautiful location!
Thanks

Enjoyed a nearby Boardwalk cache and a swim at the falls. Heading off to Maroochydore for lunch. Stopped to drop off a trackable. Thankfully the GPS was spot on as there were lots of rock caves. TFTC
This was a quick find with the coords.
Actually the first place we looked. Took TB. TFTC

Great spot for a hide, lots of cars coming past so you have find it, then time your removal and replacement while no cars are coming. I enjoyed this one greatly. Thanks
Missed it on the first take. Easily found on way back across this awesome wall. Hi from NZ TFTC
Nope...rock walls are not my favourite either but thankfully the find was quick. It was a bit precarious though with the constant stream of 4-wheeled muggles flying by. Thanks for the hide Konie.
We tend to be not so good at rockwalls but today we made the find really quickly TFTC
An early morning foray with clues blues and we are enjoying rock walls and car singing thanks for the cache and maintaining it Konie
Good hide. There are still empty spots in the logbook but not in chronological order. Found while in the area on Grandparent patrol. TFTC
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Maroochydore, Today Mr Felix had a medical appointment in Buderim and of course just had to attempt a few caches afterwards.

Found after a few minutes of looking (and trying not to look conspicuous to the passing cars!)
I was visiting the area briefly today, so focused on caches with I attributes I needed. This cache was placed in a month that I have not collected yet. Got to the GZ and realised what sort of hide this was.... My nemesis! A bit of persistence and I eventually located the contain. TFTC - almost a decade old!

Staying at my friends near Coolum Beach I was doing some caching to visit the area. This was one of the boxes I found.
Thanks to Konie for hiding and maintaining this geocaches.

TFTC... 9/1. Some of the Tough Mothers on a day on the Sunshine Coast found a Group listing with geokids found - oops, nearly missed it.
