With reduced restrictions the burnt-out container has been retrieved.
Should be good for a new one shortly.

A lot of the bush here as been burnt, and I will have to check it out!
Due to overwhelming fires in the immediate area, this will be disabled til Ground Zero is ready for further searching. That is, when rain has allowed some regrowth.

Found the cache after thinking it was rubbish in the bush. Very hard to open as the rust is taking hold.
drove down this morning with tamagotcha from lismore for a funeral and arrived a couple hours early so thought we would grab a few caches while here
Am over from NZ (ex aussie) visiting friends and while in the area thought i'd hunt this one up. Looked in the most likely places nope not there...a reminder by friend that I was back in the land of snakes stopped me from digging too deep! Near DNFd but a few steps on found the cache. Interesting hiding place! tftc
DNF, felt like an insult not finding it when the hint is “it’s too easy” however after looking through the activity logs I think I know where it is.
Look again another day.
Thanks

Hmmm gps not great under the trees/ cloud today... and took me straight to a small cannabis plantation amongst the lantana. They had been freshly watered, so watch out for people who don’t want to be disturbed here!! Thanks for the cache though
Found on a wet afternoon after delivering a load of luggage for geo-daughters schoolies week. There had been roadworks nearby when I first passed GZ but they had packed up later when I returned. Many thanks Grahame Cookie
Bashed around in the lantana yesterday & DNF & today getting quite different coords found it in 15 seconds.
While down this way making an attempt on the MNCWander series we stopped for other caches from time to time. Love the title of this cache. Thanks.
On our way to make another assault on the MNC Wander we stopped to pick up a few strays. Thanks cookie.
Staying at Manning Point we've enjoyed heading around this area looking for geocaches. This was one of them. We overlooked it at first and circled around a bit before checking the right location for the find. We happily signed the log and replaced all as found. We made our way back to the car on a nice day for geocaching.
Thanks Grahame Cookie for the cache. Cheers!
Thanks Grahame Cookie for the cache. Cheers!
We parked nearby and walked in to GZ through quite a nice piece of bush to find the cache. The container has seen better days but the log was surprisingly dry. Thanks Grahame Cookie for the hide.
**# 21009** Found on our 2018 mega adventure to ACT, NSW, QLD and beyond.
A fine sunny Autumn day for a drive around in Taree again.
Only a few muggles around today and a few more good hides.
Picked up a TB to move it along.
Thanks for the cache Grahame Cookie,

Easy find right at GZ
Dropped my friends "Travel Dogs" TB that I have been so slack in moving on for so long.

Our positioning must have been off. We were directed into a large clump of lantana and I wasn’t going to take two little kids through there in fear of snakes. I’m sure it’s somewhere else. We will come back.
Stortigirls and I had made a quick trip south to visit the Taree/Gloucester area. We decided we had time to add a few more smileys in the area before heading home. We stopped by this one and soon had our names in the logbook. TFTC
Found on the way back home to brisbane after a caching long weekend with Selva Girls. Amazing how quickly the bush regenerates. The container was found in good condition and our names added to the log.
Found it today after RFS burnoff yesturday. Cache not burnt but hole in the bottom of the container through rust.
Suuuuuper rusted tin. Everything inside is wet and covered in rust and ick! TFTC
A quick cache to finish off a busy weekend of Geocaching. This cache needs some TLC. The container is rusted through on the bottom and the contents are wet and rusty. Found with Cckabbabs TFTC.
This geocacher reported that the container is damaged. The cache tin has rusted through and it was very wet inside although the log was OK at this stage. The owner does needs to replace the tin as it is only going to deteriorate further.
Day 10 of our trip and we are now staying in the Great Lakes Area of NSW. We headed north today to Taree and diverted towards Old Bar to pick up The Older Bar Road cache. We then continued on to Old Bar to have a look around and picked up this cache on the way. Although we did take the long way around to GZ we soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. The cache tin has rusted through and it was very wet inside although the log was OK at this stage. The owner does needs to replace the tin as it is only going to deteriorate further. TFTC and bringing us to this spot. TNLN and there was no geocoin in the cache.
Tftc. After arriving near GZ and having my phone indicate the cache was in a clearing surrounded by lantana, we were thinking "not this time, not in mood to go through that". But then reading previous logs we realised a hack and slash was not necessary and cache was soon in hand and log signed. Left a TB, took nothing.
A quick findwhile travelling between old bar and Port Macquarie.
Managed to scare a good sized goanna on the way in
Thanks

Found it on a sunny Sunday while staying in Forster. Thought I'd head up to Old Bar today to visit the markets and do some caches as well. After parking my car not too far away from a burnt out wreck cordoned off by police tape I was glad that the cache was a quick find. TFTC
Took ages, think the bush grown up a bit, 4m south of co-ords. No need to enter lantana!! We discovered after numerous scratches!
TFTC, I wandered around for 10 minutes as GZ would'nt lock on. I then read some prev logs and soon spotted something and the find was had. A good camo job.
Quick find but it should be noted that the container is very rusty and starting to fall apart. The bottom has some holes do it would be best if the entire container is replaced. TNLN TFTC
This one took way too long! Should have gone with my geo senses and not dismiss the cammo, TNLN thanks.
Found with mum and dad (Gazkersh and littlemissleft)
Have my own account now

Enjoyed finding this one with Gazkersh and Tilly. My Husband was bush bashing his way through overgrown lantana for a good 10 minutes just for the fun of it We followed him in but found it eventually on our way back out! Signed log. TFTC Grahame Cookie. Enjoyable search, surprising find!
Thank you to the person with the photos so I didn't have to look too hard!
That was not easy. Well it was easy to get too but it took some searching. But not until my beautiful GeoGirl found it covering the same area I was searching. Good hide.
Just finished a great day at the Festival and picked this one on our way home, a quick find by GeoBoy Brodie,
Last time I looked for this was before the smoke from the 2013 fires that blocked the highway, and exit from Old Bar until past midnight.
It was easy. The smoke must have gotten into my eyes before.
Thanks for the cache.

Prickles and more prickles.... Reassessed and came in from different angle and bingo! TFTC Grahame Cookie
Nice easy one on the way back from Old Bar on a caching day with the family and 'Nudge74'. TFTC
