One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Should you like to resurrect the cache please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Have placed a replacement cache on behalf of the CO and cheekily claiming this as a find.

17-Aug-18
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

This cache is very close to where I spend a lot of my time so last year when I looked at the string of "Did not find" logs I decided not to bother. After a chat to my mechanic yesterday, who, with his family are keen geocachers, I had a change of heart and successfully found it after his insistence that yes, it was there, it's just not where everyone thinks it should be. A pair of dropped tweezers on the ground gave it away. The tweezers are still there, I've just moved them to where they are not so easily visible. Wink TFTC

We are staying at a nearby caravan park after visiting the west coast having attended the Red Centre Experience over Easter. I took to my bike today to see if I could find the caches in two of Katherine 's PTs.
OK, this isn't part of the PT but a person would have to be crazy not to grab it on the way. Took a little longer to find than it should have, but eventually I had CIH and signed log as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find Kerr NT, a clever hide, and gets a FP for your effort.

Interesting spot TFTC

Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.

Staying a few days in Katherine to attempt 'lots' of the local caches we hope. Razz

Today Mr Felix jumped on his GeoBike to tackle the things that freak you out series. All in all an enjoyable and fun ride. He even popped in to visit the local airport whilst out that way.

Grabbed this one along the ride.

#6992 - 12:40; Day 18 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. Following a night in Mataranka Springs we continued enroute to Darwin after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs refreshed after a swim to start the day. We were headed to Adelaide River to spend the night, passing through Katherine and Pine Creek The caching picked up again today after a couple of quiet ones as we covered some big distances. We managed 47 finds and 10 DNFs along with a few trig points for the day. All caches found were in good nick, including this one. May not have stopped if I'd seen the earlier logs, but all was good today. TFTC KerrNT Smile

Alice trip 2017. Day 16. Another day of driving, today took Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I from Mataranka to Adelaide River. Long distances with fewer caches until we arrived at Katherine. Great country along the way. I'm glad I did not see the logs before I found this one !

Thanks.

13437. Next find of Day 08 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading North.

I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.

Next stop for the day. Glad we didn't read all the DNFs on this one as it was a quick find at GZ fur us! Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

TNLN - TFTC !!

Today was our last day in Katherine and we were heading out to visit the Cutta Cutta Caves in the afternoon. We had a little time to spare so I decided to stop off and hunt for this cache...mostly because finding it would fill in another day on my "Finds by Placed Date" calendar to bring the count up to 350 out of 366. I hunted for a while and was about to give up when I finally spotted the cache.

Thanks Kerr NT for putting this cache here...a rather cheeky hide.

[Teal]As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here, the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.

Thanks for being part of our great adventure. Sad

Another day of caching in the Katherine region we have decided to head south of the town.
A nice looking cow to distract us from our task, but a quick hunt & we soon had the little beast in hand.

There was nothing udderly amazing about this cache Sad
It was definitely a load of bull Smile
On arrival at GZ, on the pushbike, I was steered in the wrong direction by the GPS !!
This find became a test I tickled which turned into a real balls up Red Face
Good job no body was watching ... too closely ... as I felt around for a cache Razz
Eventually common sense came to the rescue and I looked more closely at the GPS.
I had cast ratings all over the place until now !!

At the place the GPS pointed, I finally spied the cache Big Grin

Armed only with a tip from a fellow GeoCacher that there was a Cache near the bull (with balls!) i found it within minutes, tftc Kerr

Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.

Found reasonably easily with the help of good coordinates. I am not at all sure that cachers should be going around without pens. Seems a bit wrong to me! So very basic.
I would have driven to the nearest shop for one, which is not very far at all.

Nice hide on the trip Sorry about late logging plenty of 4 legged help. Dashbram

25-Apr-12
Spent awhile at this one, no luck but

10-Apr-12
After suggesting this cache should be archived as its owner hasn't been on there profile since 2009 I decided I would email a friend whom had found this one some time ago (I was going to send owner a message for a hint). Got some advice where this one should be. It was a little aways from where I looked the other day but Hindging on the fact that there where some DNF's I didn't spend hrs here looking. Thought as I was here for a few days I would call back today and have another look. Spent 10 mins looking at what my EAF said to look at then suddenly spotted this little black thing in the ground as it was a bit buried I am guessing it has been there awhile. SL and replaced the little black NANO where I was told it should be. TFTC

05-Apr-12
Had abit of a look here but could not locate it either

05-Apr-12
After checking owner profile as was going to send a message to get clue decided it was waste of time as owners last visit to web site was may 10th 2009. So I am guessing they are not going to check cache if the account hasn't been visited in such a long time

29-Feb-12
No nothing- again, terrible day in Katherine no luck with any finds
