Three pairs of eyes couldnt find it. Mind you we were keen to get in the springs
Unfortunately had to post as a DNF. Feel a bit slack as previous logs indicated it was an easy one.
2 week holiday in the nt cross caching trip with geoparents who have come from germany for a visit.
What a beautiful area berry springs is!! Used this for a few snapshots and to cool off in this hot 'winter' Tftc sl tnln

The paint has flaked off so it's fairly visible. I covered it with bark, but it could do with a re-paint.
Was hoping for a quick swim after visiting the wildlife park, but unfortunately the springs were closed - not surprised as it was early in the season and Wangi Falls were also closed.......
Mind you, the torrential thunderstorm meant that you got a good "swim" even just searching for the geocache !
Thanks for the cache, Groboz !

Tftc! Kids were terrified that we were going to get I trouble for being here in the wet when it's closed, or that we'd get eaten by a Croc lol. Great cache, thankyou.
Another interstate work trip. Thought we'd head out for swim. What a great spot an easy find after a brief search.

FOund on a caching day with our South African Caching friend. When we found the cache it had the bottom eaten right out of it so we replaced the cache and tucked back into its hidey hole. TFTC
If I'd had a suitable container I would have used it here. Look a bit NW for the cache. Thanks Groboz.
Despite living in Darwin for a while never came out to Berry Springs till today. Excellent swimming and large spacious grounds for a picnic or bbq. Arrive by about 1100 to get a park as it gets quite busy around lunch time in the dry especially on the weekends and when school holidays are on. Took a tiny bit of searching but in the end an easy find. Container needs replacing though the log itself is dry.
Time to leave the warmth of the north and back south to Radelaide
Today my day took me from Darwin through Litchfield having a dip in Buley Rockholes and Florence Falls ending up in the Thermal Pool at Mataranka.
Thanks to the cache hiders and see you in 12 months. TFTC.

Came here for a swim today, but unfortunately swimming was still closed today. Grabed the cache at 12:40 instead.

Cache container is missing a lid and part of it's sides are broken and gone. Needs a new container.
Finally able to put my hands on this one this afternoon after a great lunch at a nearby farm. Cache container is wrecked though, and I didn't have a new one with me. TFTC
This cache was a consolation prize as we had come out to spend the day at Berry Springs but the pools are still closed. A shame, but that's the way it goes. We'll have a picnic anyway and collect some more caches on the way back.
Another quick find by Mrs SKI.
Container is in need of replacement.

This one took much longer to locate than it should have after our dip in the nearby pools.
It was a refreshing dip on this hot day.

Found on a visit to a neighbouring "attraction". Great GC, just watch out for the green ants!
A bit of a grubby spot where the cache is. There must be somewhere better to hide there.
Noticed that we missed this one as it was on a side road, and went back to get it.
Only about 8 cars in the car park, so it was an easy grab and replace.
Thanks for the cache, Groboz.

This sounded like a nice spot so we pulled in to see what the area was like. Funny sign on the way in (photo) attached about the capacity of the place. The GPSr had us in one spot but a quick look nearby showed some camo and a cache. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Hadn't been to Berry Springs for ages - kept forgetting how beautiful it is here.
Cache took us a bit of looking around - but GZ is spot on.

After Operation Inferno its now time to cool of in Berry Springs.
Had to get the business done 1st as a cache is to be found here. Quickly found & then off for a relaxing swim. By the time we left the lunch time crowd was starting to arrive.
A favourite point for the location, its a wonderful Darwin attraction.
Thanks Groboz

Found on our Adelaide to Top End holiday. Went for a swim in the wonderful springs and luckily beat the crowds. Found the cache after our picnic lunch.
Berry Springs is a nice little swimming hole for those that like their wilderness experience, tamed
Too crowded for me today even though the carpark was only about a quarter full.
The sign on the way in said it all !!
"If the carpark is full, Berry Springs is busy !!"
Duh!!
Somewhere out the back of the park, behind some conveniently parked Grey Nomad Mobile Gin Palaces I found the cache and popped in "The Mighty Shark Geocoin"

Second bite of the cherry. Glad to mark this off the list. Note book needs a bit of time out to dry out or be replaced. Tftc. Left Yoyo keyring and took harmonica for kids to play with in the car. It will probably end up on the side of the road in about ... Oh .... Now. Replaced zip lock bag.
Not too hard to find thanks! But didn't have any trinkets with us to swap today might come back sometime to swap
This was our 18th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 14:32
So this now makes our total find count 6841.

We've been to Darwin before, but have never headed out this way. We spent a really enjoyable day on the Cox Peninsula today, and found a variety of caches.
There is a lot of construction work going on in the car park. nevertheless we managed to log the cache unobserved.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Dora Trinket.
Thanks Groboz for the hunt today.

Out for a day with Windy 05 to find some caches. Our 2nd last find for the day , have looked for this one on a number of occasions in the past with no luck. T4TC
A relaxing weekend spent on a property near Robin Falls, with a few touristy things on the journey (and a few caches) with Bettyboo3747.
We tried this cache on Monday, but the gates were locked (something about a 3 meter croc - it is the NT after all!)
Today the park was open so we drove almost right to GZ, jumped out of the car, and BB had the cache in hand almost right away.
Glad to see the croc hadn't got it.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 3571. The last one for the day on our way back to Darwin. As Robmc said it was closed last week when we called in - glad in a way as I would not like to be a crocodile's meal. A quick find today however and now we continue back home. TFTC

Found at 17:59 with Olga. A beautiful place for a swim.
Took us a few minutes to spot the cache.

DNS. Unfortunately Berry Springs was closed due to a crocodile sighting a couple of days ago. Maybe on the way back from the Cox Peninsula.
Get out of the bush to refresh your GPS if your having trouble. Took me 5 trys from different angles using my iPhone. Last one had me basically tripping over it!
Took TB.
Cheers!

searched for ages both before and after a swimming and didn't come up with anything
The cache was a little exposed when I found it so have tucked it away in a safe-ish spot. TFTC.
First trip to NT, First Cache in NT, a swim in the warm water, birdlife, what a fabulous spot.

A quick grab when a few minutes of muggle free time availed themselves. GPS had me walking in circles but I got it in the end TFTC Groboz.

Had a bit of a hunt for this one as the phone GPS put me in the bush. Entered the coordinates into the trusty Garmin and it put me back on track. Took toy soldier and left fireworks shades.
A nice easy find a lovely spot to swim and have a picnic.
Been going to do this one for a few days at last found time to do it.
Took small car left puppet doll. Log very wet but put our sticker in it.

Nice easy find. Berry Springs would have to be one to the most beautiful swimming holes we have been to. It is one of the "have to do's" if you are visited NT. Thank you for bringing us here.
TN, left toy car.

No swimming, no muggles. Made for an easy find. Log book is damp and the cache had water in it, we didn't have any spares to replace it. TNLN. TFTC.
Absolutely no stealth required for this cache in the middle of the wet. We had the entire park to ourselves.
A nice quick find after dropping in after visiting the wildlife park.

Failed on our first ever Geocache! Couldn't find the hide but think we were in the right place. Will go back and try again soon.
Found @ 1530. Took a while but found it eventually when I searched for a more traditional style of hide. TNLN SL TFTC
