Could not stand any longer here cache if it is still there should be removed as the fifth and rubbish here is disgusting
Did not find, may have been muggled as we found lots of trinkets lying in the grass?
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
Hunted around a few places at grass level but not ground level and finally found it. Wet and muddy at GZ but there has been a lot of rain up here over the last few days. Surprising amount of traffic for a little side road.
Hope they didn't wonder too much what we were doing.
Thanks Pooke. Nice little detour and a break from Riser5's GB1 series.

Todays mission is to reach 500 caches with the help of Mini Mob. #488. A lovely spot to stop at off SH1. TFTC. a quick find.
TFTC, a lovely spot and one of the caches that's been on our to-do list since we started caching. Took resident TBs to move along and left seahorse TB that wants to get to an underwater cache. Perhaps someone could take it to Under Waro Water?
A new day in New Zealand on the way from Tairua to Paihia. It was a long trip today and a lot of traffic on the road... nevertheless some caches have been found...

This is one of those caches I have been meaning to stop at and find so many times when I'm driving past - well today was the day. What a great little spot - I could imagine stopping here for a picnic. Quick find and dropped in some trackables. TFTC!!!
Awesome spot for a quiet picnic. will need to source a couple of kayaks to use. Found with Wallie93. TFTC
A detour and time to have a drink under the shade of the trees. A pleasant place to stop for a break. Thanks.
We needed a break on our way up north. This was a perfect place.
We challenged ourselved on the riverbed to pick some nice blackberies

Really enjoyed doing this one in between the GB1 Riser 5 power trail. These are the types of caches that i enjoy doing. Quick find here. TFTC!
Was on my way north to Whangarei and thought I would take a short detour as I was looking for a spot where I could take a short break and have something to eat before moving on. Arriving near GZ was able to find a very nice car-park under the shade of some lovely trees near the riverbank. What a great little spot for a cache, just enough shade to give you cover from a nice sunny day in Whangarei and peaceful and quiet just far enough away from the rumbling traffic of the main highway. After taking a small break went to look for the cache and found it quickly without any issues, decided to retrieve Dream, Passion and Journey travel bug and take it on a journey, thanks for placing a cache in such a nice little spot, TFTC LNSL (3654)
Just starting our special day of caching - to celebrate 11-11-11 and what do I find but my own TB!!! It's in a competition with 3 others so I wasn't allowed to pick it up and take it to the 'event' in Auckland - but I sure hope someone picks it up soon and takes it to LOTS of caches if I am to have any chance of catching up in the competition.
Nice little spot, low tide so no laucnhing going on so nice and deserted for the search. TFTC
Sadly today is our last day of caching in New Zealand before we head home to Australia. Due to Marco’s sprained ankle we were limited to only doing caches with very easy terrain and little walking. This one fit our criteria. We pulled off SH1 to find this one, hoping to grab the Earthquake GC. It took a bit of searching to find it but eventually Marco found it using the end of his crutch. We were sad to see the geocoin wasn’t in there – hopefully someone else has picked it up. TNLNSL TFTC
Second attempt at this one, good to see the weather hadn't gotten it this time. TFTC
Quick find after being in Whangarei on business TFTC.
Dropped off Stings'NZ Flag ChCh coin. Only pick this coin up if you are going to drop it off again quickly or you will have the owner on your back!!!!!

Stopped to drop TB in but unfortunately it wouldn't fit in the container without the lid trying to pop off. Cache all good though!
Pleasant spot, tide in, sun shining(considering it was forcast for rain and high winds) TFTC
Nice cache hidy spot. Dropped off 2 TBs, cache is all good and dry, loved the living camo! TFTC

Thought it was too difficult for us to be found. ... didn't know that it was missing ...
Thanks for showing this nice site and for hiding.

Found with Okay Crokay! Great log that nearly had me swimming head first with the fishes!!.. Cache Needs maintenance though ): Wet logbook which was rather unfortunate!!
wow, this one was much bigger than we expected. Future Finders were at the end of the tree dangling over the river when I found this one safe and sound. Replaced bag and added silicone
High tide water was very close to the cache. The log book is sodden and unusable. We wrote on a sheet of fresh paper which will no doubt also get wet.

was an easy find for me there was a hole in the top of the box and the inside was wet, the logbook soaked. i sealed the hole with chewing gum as best i could haha
this was a quick found. Nice hide in a cool place. The logbook is wet and should be replaced.

No problems finding this one. Signing the log proved a little more difficult as it was soaked. Still managed to get some ink on the page. Might need to replace the logbook. TFTC
That log does look like a likely hiding spot, but forewarned we didn't venture there.
A quick find of a good sized container.
Thanks, Robmc.

I am glad we read carefully where not to look here as it was way to cold
to go for an unexpected dip. Nice big cache container well hidden.

Our second ever cache find. Clue a little misleading as it says to look for a black cache, but it was in fact a small bucket with a yellow lid! But we did find it. Took out Godzilla and left a small car. TFTC
Co-ords led us to a tree deep in the water, but after reading the hint, we realised that it would be easier than that and had the cache in a minute in hand.. Thanks for the cache and bit of shade...
Nice peacefull spot off the main drag.Must have just been behind CrystalFairy.TNLN.TFTC.
Nice easy cache, V e r y b u m p y r o a d. Nice little place, Dipped travel bugs for location. Took travel bug and left bouncy ball.
On a caching weekend to Whangarei. A nice secluded spot away from the main road. Took a while to find, but then there it was. No muddy feet or tightrope walking for us!! In: TFTC Badge Out: Keyring SL TFTC.
Nice spot just off the main road. Took a wee while to locate the cache. and when we did we wondered how we missed it, Glad we did not have to do the tightrope walk! Thanks.

When the cache did not show up, one of us stood at the starting spot ready for tight-roping ! Then from above, spotted a likely hidey hole and got lower down to investigate and viola! A nice pleasant spot by the river on a secluded bit of road. Thanks Pooke Â
Nicely done hide and very pleased to make the find despite the darkness. Cache is fine and all in good order.

A quick find with Old Boots! & 1 Rainbow after initially missing the turn off and having to back track. Old Boots! loved the crockadile in the cache which was left for another day.
4.15pm. Found at first attempt. Got wet returning it as it started to pour. - Geocoin also swapped a croc for a pig thing. Thank you. David and Noeline
4.55pm. Quick stop on way south to AK.

This cache needs an update as it is not a black container any more. Would not recomend doing this one in the wet as things could get slippery. Good location though.
Was a little worried it might have been removed due to recent earthworks along the bank. But still in situ. A great spot. TFTC. Placed a crocodile in the cache. I think it will feel at home here!
Had found the original Shag-adelic River Vista so figured it was time to tag this one as well
TNLNSL Thanks

A bit difficult to find without being obvious because muggles on their tractors decided to stop for a natter
just down the road and kept turning around for a look.
