Sorry folks. I completely forgot I had disabled this one. There is a couple of people watching this, so I will give you 1 week from now to go find it, and then I will archive this as promised, as Gracie7 wants to put a new cache close by. Happy hunting.

17-Mar-12
Visited the cache tonight in hopes of finding that the cache had went missing, therefore I would be justified in asking that the cache be archived and I could place one of mine own that I was planning to place but it was too close to this one. However we arrived and soon found the cache in perfect dry condition. No need to archive all good to go and assuming I get permission I think I found a suitable place to place my own. Thanks:P

Came with my Aunty to see if this one was still here. TFTC

This one took bit finding even after a couple of visits and a PAF. TFTC

22-Nov-10
One of my night-time central Greymouth raid! I tried this a couple of years ago and failed, had more luck this time.

12-Nov-10
After a wee hint, we went back at about 10pm and within a couple of minutes, this tricky little cache was found.
TFTC.

#1613 (25/25 on a third day on the Coast). Had visited a couple of time already on this trip, but not late enough (too many muggles). We might have even tried this back in 2008. Finally we had success post an impromptu caching event (across the road at Speights Ale House) with Bitsprayer, Moneydork and Pohutakawa. The muggles were long gone, and Troodles soon found the cache. TFTC.

11-Nov-10
Waited until after 9pm, but the carpark was still lit up like a Xmas tree. We tried using high beam of the car, but nothing shone out at us.

April 2009: I was standing on the Parking Lot with nothing then the coordinates on the GPS...and searched ...and searched... and searched...without any success. Now I read the listing last night on the campground and everything was clear Big Grin the next morning, everybody was busy packing their stuff onto the cars it was a quick grab and the box was mine, without the gps and any 'human searchlight' action Cool

Thanks anyway for this fun which lasted about one Year Razz[^]

12-Feb-10
Came here late the previous evening with a powerful torch but despite best efforts could not see anything that might lead us to the cache. After reading some of the previous logs, we came back the next afternoon from our motel just across the road and with the advantage of daylight found the reflector quite quickly, and also located the cache site. Because of the number of people around, we returned later in the evening and finished off the formalities. Unfortunately there has been so much vegetation growth that it is not now possible to find the cache as per the description. This was quite a fun cache! Signed log, thanks very much for putting it here.

26-Jan-10
Last one for the night, its not the first time we have looked here but it was completely pitch black this time and we forgot to bring a torch to find the reflector. Never the less we hung in there(literally) til we found it. TOOK - Donkey Toy & Glow inthe dark Polar Bear. LEFT - Harry Potter Toy & Bouncy Ball. 10/10 for the night (double digits again! Surprised ) TFTC

01-Jan-10
found it, Smile

22-Dec-09
A clever idea for a cache, the disk is nicely hidden by the bush so a close up inspection was required. Unfortunatly, Christmas shopping hours meant the place was open until midnight just had to wait between muggles to do any decent looking. TNLN THanks.

19-Dec-09
Cheers B xoxo

06-Dec-09

A novel cache. A good idea. A nice little cache of goodies. Took little torch and left a NZ sheep. Thank you.

Mrs TT just happened to park very nearby and spotted it instantly (not at night either). Quick grab and slink back to the car to complete the details. Then decided to go shopping for dinner! Great idea. TFTC

05-Nov-08
Good spot for a night find!

26-Oct-08
Couldn't see no orange disk. Maybe vegetation is obscuring it or my 2 torches were just not powerful enough.

17-Jul-08
Decided to have a wee walk from my hotel after dark. It took a while to locate the cache - as the vegetation has grown a little. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1178)

01-Jun-08
We too tried for this one before the business closed but couldn't spot it with all the lights on. Returned at 9.30pm and thought we were going to leave empty handed - torch was not showing us the way. Spotted by chance when about to drive off. Good cache idea. Thanks.

31-May-08
OK that was embarrassing. Arrived after business was shut but staff were still cleaning up. No-one else in the carpark so I did the whole "human lighthouse" thing. No real joy after about ten minutes (trying to be subtle). Decided to look in what I thought would be the likely place. Spotted something very promising when I hear a car coming into the carpark. The local constabulary!! Nothing for it but to explain Geocaching. He was very willing to accept the concept and left me to it. Quickly retrieved and signed, very quickly exited thereafter!!!

This was fun. Freezing, raining, but fun. Left a Travel bug. Thanks for this - have friends with us being introduced to this, they thought it was great.

30-May-08
found it good spot

09-May-08
we found this one with truck light when returned after shop closed

21-Mar-08
Tried it during the day. Naaaah. Just standing there looking at the likely hiding spot got me weird looks. Walked up to what was the likely location and had two people consider me insane, so backed off. Came back after closing time. Old torch no good. 1.5M candle power one? Just fine thank you. Cache was in fact 2m from where I had looked earlier in the day. Thanks for the cache (I did raise the skirt on the lamp posts - would have been a great hide Wink)

04-Mar-08

10-Feb-08
good find at 9:30

07-Feb-08
Funnily enough, it didn't work as well as it could have for me as the 'object' isn't properly aligned. Still found it after the Choice had closed for the night. Cheers Gav [1914]

07-Feb-08
Last one for the night, still a couple of cars outside the supermarket but guessed they were out the back doing stock take or something. Easily spotted and very bright with my new nightcaching LED headlamp.
Very clever, TFTC

05-Feb-08
I found this cache while on our trip down the westcoast, A nice easy cache to do at night ..cheers

05-Feb-08
HelloMrs had the torch and we had a long search and I probably would have given up. I am still in my bank uniform and pleased that there was no one around to see me.

05-Feb-08
After a long walk finding our way there and a long search for the cache finally found it at 11.15pm with the help of a good torch. No muggles around had it all to ourselves. TNLC

02-Feb-08

Dropping off travel bug. I picked this TB up in error. Didn't realise that the owner wants it back in its home country, (Switzerland). Please take the BearTB, to an airport Cache, so it can catch a flight out of NZ. Cheers, PN.

good find looking in the most werdist placers bcause i forgot about the disk then i rememberd and found it

21-Jan-08
1992. We dashed in as night was approaching and there was no-one at all around. Saw the marker as we counted down the metres, grabbed the cache and logged it. Still no-one around so we returned it to its hiding hole.

A well-executed cache idea and placement.

Thanks
Iris & Rodney

1. Night cache.
2. Decent size cache.
3. Did not use firetacks
4..... I could go on, couldn't I??
Thanks for this - swap the reflector in cache for a glo button (works like a glo stick, but is round and can be stuck to a surface)
Left the TB Roaming Kiwis Land Rover Georacer, which is in a race to the USA.
Oh, and a butterfly of course (plastic version)

Decided we'd make a slight detour on the way back from a dinner in Hokitika and grab this. Everything was quickly found, and we were on our way. TNLN, TFTC.

30-Dec-07
2/7 of The Grady Bunch made it to this cache, the rest were tucked up in bed even though they slept in the van earlier.

Heck, alot happens here in Greymouth when you go visting and caching someplace else for the day!!! Geocaching even makes it to the front page of the newspaper. LOL

Nevertheless, we got back from Reefton, logged on to log our finds for today, and saw this. A wee while later PB says "It's after 9:00 now......" so off we went.

Was awesome to see that blank page when we opened the log book! Our first FTF.

Took the TB and will drive it down to Kaniere tomorrow, and if there is not a good garage for it there, then the Big Smoke over the Hill on Tuesday - and hopefully bring 1 or 2 more back.

Thanks for the cache - fun idea - and it seems we have done a swap on FTFs today.
