Nuhp... no go here.. looks like the bark has been replaced recently.. Recommend the owner checks..

After trying tackle all weekend but finding no skater-free times we ventured out in the pouring rain - no skaters but still plenty of muggles with umbrellas walking by GZ! Had a quick fossick but see that has not been found since June and whole area has had coverage replaced very recently. Will shelve for now...

16-Jun-09
Had the pleasure of watching a helicopter descend close by Smile

15-Mar-09
Busy wee spot! Even got buzzed by a high flyer from the local estates. TFTC

15-Mar-09
We did the ARC 8, an 8-hour adventure race organised by Adventure Racing Coromandel the day before (see arcevents.co.nz). This was a good way of stretching the legs after all the effort earlier. Others, who did the 24 hour option were still racing, so we had some time to fill in before the prizegiving anyway. We flew by on the Flying Fox during the race plus we did a 90 meter abseil and enjoyed the thrill. No need for expensive equipment to fly-by. Lovely spot. Thanks a lot, Glyn.

08-Mar-09
A few people using the sk8 park today, but luckily the cache was just out of their view and it was easily extracted, signed and returned without them being any the wiser. Impressed by the houses with built in planes! Cheers Gav [3525]

08-Mar-09
A very busy spot.
Like the wee airport.

10-Feb-09
Just about put a DNF on this one and then noticed something out of the ordinary and cache was inhand.

The kids loved watching the aircraft.

Another great cache spot, quick find yet just out of sight of the skating muggles.
We walked past that white house you can just see to the very right hand side of the picture, and it has a huge garage under the house, we peeked in the window and there was a big fixed wing plane parked up in the house!! beside his golf buggy, boat and 2 other cars!! WOW!!

TNLN TFTC!!!!!

15-Jan-09
gorgeous area! look out for planes, indeed.

found on a roadtrip with friends from pukekohe!
TFTC!

How funny to see the houses with their own hangers! Wonder if the owners commute to Auckland by air each day? Easy find once we got a chance to search. Good camouflage. SL. TFTC.

01-Nov-08
Plenty of people today, coming and going as well as skaters. This made searching not so easy but managed to grab during a break in traffic. Didn't spot any planes but lots of skaters taking off. TFTC.

28-Sep-08
nice easy find, our 4th today, lots of cyclists around.
keen to come back and have a go at the nearby mini putt.

Quick find. What a cool cache idea. Saw a plane make a fly-by, err we mean a take-off, before heading off to make the find. Muggled by three biker kids, cache should be OK, they thought I was checking out the lights in the tunnel.
TNLNSL, TFTC

04-Jul-08
Couldn't find it- have had a look at the clue and will have another go...

25-May-08
Good bakery down the road - bought breakfast lunch and tea there.

Must be nice just to fly in to your holiday home by the beach.

27-Apr-08
Nice easy find. Saw a low flying plane too!

TFTC

18-Apr-08
Found it on a sunny morning together with my workmate Dave.
Left a cheeky plane and took a parachute guy.

01-Mar-08
What a noisy spot this must be at times.
TB Century of flight visited, but it was too small a cache for him to stay. A wet morning meant for no muggles

24-Feb-08
Luckily after the rain, the skate park was empty. It was obviously too windy to fly too as the air strip was deserted too. We had never seen plane garages under houses before!
TFTC

18-Feb-08
Quiet day here at the park. Now where shall I start....is it this one, or this one, no not this one either....finally I had it. TFTC

31-Jan-08

28-Jan-08
Just about needed air traffic control here today as there was a constant stream of light aircraft landing. Only saw one takeoff. We counted 12 planes and 2 helicopters parked up next to the "baches" along the runway.
MAny thanks Glyn

24-Jan-08
Busy place but I believe Glyn has the best camo caches ever
Nil in or out

19-Jan-08
Muggles a plenty here today alright.
had to dodge a few here.
Clever little camo job
TFTC

12-Jan-08
Well it was all happening today. Planes, skateboarders, sky divers, people all over the place. Managed to grab the cache and retreat in between muggles passing. This is the sort of place you end up with a gaping mouth! Planes landing and then parking under the house.......... TFTC and the visit to the land of wealth.

03-Jan-08
Waited until late to avoid being seen, busy place. Getting dark, we sneakily found the cache. TFTC. Hurrying off to do one more cache before calling it a night. Thanks.

Irish geocoin has already moved on with Wonderstuff, not logged out yet.

02-Jan-08

YAY!- FTF!
Arrived late p.m 31/01/07 and after a few drinks went to look for the cache- in the dark. Didn't find it at first, but found an unlit firecracker- our prize (we thought)!
Lit it at middnight on the beach with our friends; an aweseome start to 2008!
Went back 01/01/08 at 7:30am to get the cache and it was busy with muggles- skaters, cyclists, joggers, and even a man painting over the grafitti in the tunnel so had to wait before grabbing. (No need to walk on the woodchips). Glad to be the FTF! Great cache, thanks Smile
