The 'spirit' of the cache has changed enough now for the listing to be archived, and GZ freed up for others. Adios.
I checked under all the trees and still didn't find it. It has not been found for 6 months so I think it should be checked by the owner.
I parked at the bottom of the hill in the residential area. Bushwacking my way precariously up the hill and out of breath I finally reached GZ. For all my efforts I was rewarded with a DNF. I spotted what I thought should be the obvious location, but nothing cachey to be found anywhere. Thanks anyway PV
A wander over to the northside today and logging another daily find. Parked the car nearby and walked around the reservoir. Some good views up here too. TFTC PersceVerde
Initially approached from the wrong end so sought out higher ground. Found parking & after a 250 metre walk quickly zeroed in on the cache. Went in for the grab to find that I had also grabbed hold of the cache guardian ... Shivers down my backbone, I got the shakes in my knee bones ... Yes it was a bloody big spider and I was ... Shakin' all over!
Anyway, moving along, spider fell to the ground, I signed the log, replaced the cache & yes, replaced the big spider as well! Lol ... Happy caching & TFTC!

Good spot but a little too easy depends where your looking, good view too looks beautiful.
After too many months(even years) of not being able to travel due to health issues, we finally hooked up the van and headed off.
Day 8 Found us camped in the Pine Rivers Showground along with about fifty other campers.
Nice clean but basic facilities.
Day 9 I dropped off Di at Chirnside with a friend whom she had not seen for a few years and did some of the nearby caches.
There is definitely two ways to GZ and luckily after surveying the options I chose the easy one to make a nice find and sign.

Out caching with Misssusan, Lisylou and jemalucy. We did the terrain 4 up to this one and down again. Saw the easier way when we were up there. TFTC!
Owner maintenance. Just a dust off really. Thank you to whoever gave the log book some booster pages . Cheers.
!!!!!tftc!!!!!! Found out in the open all good placed back with a bit more cover !!!!! What a view!!!
A nice easy find, had a little trouble balancing it back in the hiding spot.
Interesting place for a campfire.....

I found this with Estampie on 9/7/14 but forgot to log it in my account. Very nice spot. A few friendly dog walkers but no trouble retrieving this cache discreetly. TFTC! A very easy find. Recommended as a first cache for a beginner.
Bit of a walk up the hill from the entry point on Longland Street, but a very easy grab.
Nice view... And campfires... ???

Coming from the wrong angle makes the trip a doozy - both up and down. Fortunately the ease to find the cache counteracts this... Had left Geowife at the bottom of the rise with my phone, so had to note the TB details on a scrap of paper laying around.
Took elephant
Left dinosaur? (I think)

#2 find ever and #2 find for today. This one was fun to look for. The compass wasnt much help (thanks optus) but gave a pretty good indication where to look. Needs a new logbook. Thanks! ♡Jem &the boys
Found this one today so I could drop off The Key. I noticed the comments about the log being full so I popped a few empty notebook pages in the cache for the meantime. What a beautiful spot, thanks for the hide!
We being of the older geocachers went to closest street to ground zero , looked up and decided not for us
then we hatched a cunning plan drove to top of Longlands st and boy was it worth the extra 250mtr walk
no off the track, steep rises, just a nice easy walk to GZ and worthwhile looking at the view from there

Coming home from work tonight and I knew the traffic would be diabolical given the football game on, so I avoided that area and took a long loop home! This cache just 'happened to be on that way home!!
Not really taking time to read the description properly I was pleasantly surprised by the location. I had one of these particular catchments very close to my home as a your, and it too had a great night view like this one.
My iPhone zeroed in quickly on a particular spot, and I soon saw a surprisingly large container very visible to the public. I was then astonished that it had been here for so long. Anyway log was signed and returned to its home.
A truly memorable spot and I will come back one day. Thanks PesceVerde.

Nice easy find when you get there. We approached from the NE and discovered the HILL. How come we always pick the hardest path in!
Thanks PesceVerde for placing this cache and sharing this area with us!

This was one of three I found on a little walk around my area Good Fun. Needs a new log, great location, go via the bush path, it's fun. Grabbed a trackable, will find a new home for it in a few days!!
Took a while, as it was my first and I went up and down and up. Finally, after reading the hint, I got here
Grabbed a traceable from here that was in danger of getting wet due to being too large for the cache. Log book is full
i tried to off load this TB in Steamboat Springs Colorado but snow was too deep to find anything so it was stuffed (quite literally) into this one.
was pretty remote area but unfortunately jordick found it pretty easily#ohgreat:(
Nice place to take a short walk. I too forgot a pen but have photo and also took two tb so you can be sure I made it. TFTC
A long walk through the park to find a creek crossing and a steep climb which was rewarded with great views.
The motherload of travel bugs - we took a few to travel Queensland, but there are many others.
#3 with Spiderwebbs4 but only the geeks made the climb.

With Astrokings on their first day of caching, we took the very long way to this one. From "La Grange" we looked at the map and pondered whether to go back to the house and grab the car or continue on foot - only 700m someone said, that's an easy walk... Headed off into the suburban streets, found the creek and continued along until we came to a bridge and underpass to get across Shand St, then hang on the cache is way back the other way....along Shand St on the footpath not very pleasant with all the traffic' around the hill until we could access a road up.
This is where the blokes decided to head back with the kids, everyone very thirsty by this stage - we didn't really set off prepared for a big hike. Two of us headed up very steep Matthews street to the reservoir bushland. Along the top, past the huge water tanks, great views, then spotted a particular tree and at last the hint made sense. There was the prize perched up in the fork.
Wow, this little box was really heavy for its size. As we opened it, we realised why- we'd hit the jackpot of trackables!!! Mostly geocoins, and 11 in all. I've never seen so many in one cache and very exciting for Astrokings on their first geocaching adventure! We took a lot to help on their travels, but left a few for the next finders. Took also blue dinosaur & path tag, left mini card deck.
Buzzing with the excitement of the find forgetting for a moment our exhaustion with the steep climb and heat and lack of water, we ambled down the hill, this time via Longland, Webb, then Cockle St back to Stafford road and back home to Astrokings place. Just beaten back by the others and welcomed with watermelon!

I had a stash of trackables from NZ that had to be dumped back into circulation and I was running out of time before my next trip (non geocache trip) and this was a great spot to leave a couple or 9.
Lovely breeze at GZ. Log book is full and I didn't have spare. Geokid gifted a Dinosaur. TFTC
Took the advice of one of the previous finders and parked on Cockle St. Walked around and up the hill to the reservoir and found ourselves a cache.
Now for the walk back down - I feel a face plant coming up
Log book is pretty much full now.

I set out on a mission today - 50 different caches in one day (sounds easy enough I know) but at least 1km apart from each other, as a partial requirement for GCQY6Q over on Rangitoto Island. My first thought was that this should be much easier in a new territory where I have not found many caches yet, plus we could turn it into a nice drive south to get a NSW souvenir /dev/gc0c made an excellent navigator, carefully choosing cache after cache to satisfy the challenge requirements, and calmly putting up with a few wrong turns as I was getting confused between my right and left... We started just after 6.30am, and got back just before 9pm having completed the mission - and not forgetting about the one extra for the 50 consecutive days - plus one more just for good measure. We had great fun along the way, even though it turned out harder than expected to find them all and keep tiredness at bay - coffee (or hot chocolate) in suitable doses does help! [^] Big thanks to all the CO's of the conveniently placed caches, they contributed to an excellent day!!
We obviously arrived from the wrong side and did end up bush bashing up Good fun though, TFTC!!

Surprised at the terrain rating at first but it all made sense at the top. No snakes on the way but the first thing I saw was the cache at gz. TFTC!
It's that wonderful time of the year again where I have more time on my hands - and that means I have some geocaches to find!
What a view from up here! A tad spooky by myself, but I got the job done!
Thanks, PesceVerde. Cache is fine and dandy

After a hiatus from caching, we decided today was the day to get back into it. So this was our first cache find for quite some time. We got up to gz and it reminded us strongly of a scene out of the move 'Three inches'. We were glad there were no thunderstorms about. Parked at what seemed like a close location and had an uphill walk to this one. However, the view from the top was well worth it. Cache was partly uncovered so it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache, giving us the movie flashback and yet another view of Brisbane which is really special.
Quick find during my lunch break. Starting to run out of caches within close proximity to work. Thanks
Hiked to find until we realized the road went further up once up to the top easy find
Drove through gates right up to the cache and signed while looking out over the scenery. Thanks for the cache. All is good with the cache
Parked at the end of a road hoping to be pretty close, but soon realised that we had to go "up there". So we walked a bit and round a handy little route taking us up. A fairly quick walk and we had GZ in site. Very quick and easy find. Cache is in great condition. Great view from up here too - highly recommended if you wanted to look out over Stafford and east to the Port of Brisbane. TFTC.
We were in the area and had 10 minutes to spare so we thought we will try find this cache. Using car GPS, Matt got us as close as possible to the cache. We got out and went for a walk. We soon realised that the cache might be up there. Now to figure out how to get up there! We continued on and found a small path leading us up to the top part and Matt found the cache as soon as we got to GZ. Awesome views up here . All is good with the cache . Found with Matt_Eth . P.S. Interesting red couch .

Magnificent views! Enjoyed a moment or two at the red couch easy find. Left pen in the car so didn't get to sign log, but mstrCam and I were here tftc!
Nice day for a walk. Bit of a hike up the hill to GZ. Quick find by Alli while I was checking out the view. Tftc
Final day of August and the complete month of collecting souvenirs done. I had attempted this one a little while ago, but approached from the wrong side street and gave up. Today I found a better way in and made an easy path to gz. Chuckled when I saw the hide and how it related to the clue. Signed log and took a snap of the local's vantage point. ttc PesceVerde.
Found with a friend who introduced to geocaching a little while back. Finally cracked and set up an account, and so it begins....
My mission for today was to round up all those little green boxes on my map that are one offs just sitting in my feild of smilies. This was one of those. Well there is the easy way to a cache and then the Nyssaflutterby special direct way Why I do that I will never know. Somehow I missed the easy track to the top of the hill and instead of going back to find it I just climbed up the side of the hill. At one point my magic caching sandles were just too slippery, so off they came. Struggle, struggle... YAY! I made it Once at the top the cache was an easy find.

First find. Turns out that my regular running track has been home to a cache all this time!
Was the only one of three caches that I was able to find, the others had too many people nearby. Given that it's my first outing, I was having trouble with the notion that I might appear a bit creepy lurking about in the bushes near families and whatnot. I guess I wont go caching on school holidays again.
Took the rubber ball, left the blue piggy.
TFTC, this looks to be the start of a fun hobby.

This was great thanks. Came in from below at first but to overgrown. Had to go back and try the other entry. Cheers!
Found it. Didn't sign. The Mozzies were so intense couldn't stand still long enough to sign!
Found this on a wet afternoon jaunt with the kids. Nice spot although all locked off for renovation.
once we had reached the right level we put away the gps as we saw gz via the clue from a fair distancesl.tnln.TFTC.[^]
I think I went the long way, the clue put a smile on my face but had to explain it to the geokids.
geez went to bunnings near by in thongs and thought i would check this one out from cockle st, hmmm i am no goat so going to try am approach via longland st
Found it! Longland st was a way easier approach but the fork clue fooled me. was scratching around like a scavenger bird for ages around wrong ones as gps as acting up. finally decide to poke around with my long poking stick which i left a the scene because when i found it there was actually no poking required. didn't have my Bon Bon jokes on my so left a blue square tile with a joke on back for a xmas cheer merry xmas TFTC.

1st of 3 finds today at 13:58.
I needed to fill 22/11 in on my calendar and this cache was in the right spot for me to do that after two nearby DNFs . The climb up and down were quite the effort. It definitely rated a T2 in my books. The cache was visible in the tree so after signing the logbook I tried to cover it more so it's not accidentally discovered. But I doubt many people would be up there looking about.

A Nice hike up the hill and after a quick look around we found nothing but a cache.

I definately took the higher terrain option in my pursuit of this cache. I parked in Cockle Street and then walked through the park past the various water infrastructure buildings, before a bit of bush bashing up the slippery slope to emerge right at GZ.
Nice easy find as the cache was clearly visible for all. Signed the log, returned the container and then covered it as best I could.
I hunted for an easier way back down the hill, but none being found, I took the plunge and was half way down when every dog in the neighbourhood started barking at me. Obviously, not a lot of people use my chosen route!
