No luck with this one today and I see it hasn’t been found for quite a while, possibly before the fire went through the area.
May need a check by the owner.
Not sure why you would put a film canister in the bush anyway.

Tried to find this at night once and wasn't surprised to get nothing out of it, coming back during daylight meant it was a quick find. Drove the car right up to GZ, bit rough on a small hatchback, but it's not my car so no worries >:) Dunno why you would put a micro cache in the empty bush.
Found it but I think we may have taken the long route I think we could have almost driven if we tried...

great spot found a new friend on the way.and there is no paper left to submit longs now so if your going next take some with you.
Got car to GZ even with the recent rain, it's now covered in mud but I made it in and out no problem..
I don't really get the idea of micros being hidden much the same as a regular cache would in settings like these, each to their own I guess.

Geocar was left behind because the track was too rough. So on foot it was for about half a km. Once at gz a quick scout around and in no time flat we had the cache in hand. TNLN. TFTC.
A pesky little micro! Arghhhh we hate them. Anyway we set out to find this cache for the 2nd time, the last having spent at least 30 minutes scratching around. Bingo! Within five minutes this time there it is. I spose a bit of experience makes all the difference

04-12 6th find of the day at 14:29 and 712th find in total.
Unlike what someone would expect then looking for a micro in the middle of nowhere without even a hint, this one was found quite fast mainly due to the fact that with the nice weather we could make it a drive by in the station wagon and also because once we had thought about it, the hiding place seemed logical and obvious.
(''\(OoO)/'') TNLNSL, thanks flyjabiru1 for the caching fun!

Found at 1750 on an exploration "smash and grab day " of the area with 3up . this one had us walking in circles but finally got it . thanks jabiru1 as you have been busy here !
Find # 651 and my 26th for the day @ 17:50 with tackle_head on our "lets head west / smash and grab" day tour.
How hard could a micro be? It put up a good fight but I found it in the end. That's not a clue BTW.
I took the geocoin but none of mine would fit in.
Thanks for the cache flyjabiru1

Twas walking toward ground zero when I spotted the cache out in the open. So we filled in the log and returned it to GZ. Grass trees are our favourite plant. TFTC

We found our 21st Flyjabiru1 cache at 7:20pm as the 33rd of 40 on our Ballaratatattat Tour V in company of Backpaqer. Backpaqer is now on fire and made light work of what could have been a very hard find. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.
Nice quick find by Biggles Bear #1. Otherwise, it could have been a long search. Thanks for the cache.
Found 13:40, in the company of Muzza. A very tricky hide only given away by a suspicious leaf.
TNLN, CSI=3, thanks flyjabiru1.

Another nice, easy drive by cache for the day. The GPS led us directly to it, and our recent Bendigo experience made it easy to spot.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing (Screwdriver wouldn't fit)
Thanks flyjabiru1 for the cache.

Pushed Indiana08 out to go and get this one RHPS and i stayed in the cozy car
We were driving an unsuitable car along a dirt road wondering where we could turn around, as the sides had been dug up for a fire break, when a small clearing appeared, right at GZ! Our luck held, and the cache was soon in hand. Nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found this one easily but I think we might have been a little lucky. Could have been much worse!
Here's a few to keep your daughter smiling:
What is the difference between a cat and a comma? One has the paws before the claws and the other has the clause before the pause.
What does a cat do when it gets mad? It has a hissy fit.
What do you call the cat that was caught by the police? The purrpatrator.
What happened when the cat went to the flea circus? He stole the whole show!
What is a cat's favourite colour? Purrrrrrrple!
Where does a cat go when it loses its tail? The retail store.
What does a cat like to eat on a hot day? A mice cream cone.
What do cats use to make coffee? A purrcolator.
What do you call a cat that has swallowed a duck? A duck filled fatty puss.
If lights run on electricity and cars run on gas, what do cats run on? Their paws.
Why is the cat so grouchy? Because he's in a bad mewd.
If there are ten cats on a boat and one jumps off, how many cats are left on the boat? None! They were copy cats.
Is it bad luck if a black cat follows you? That depends on whether you're a man or a mouse.
How does the cat get its own way? With friendly purrsuasion.
What do you call a cat that lives in an igloo? An eskimew.
What has more lives than a cat? A frog because it croaks every night.
What is a cat's favourite subject in school? HISStory
Thanks again

Eighth of eighteen cache finds for the day, the cache was found at 11:40. I was glad the coordinates were spot on and we soon had the nice hide found. I had a cat that lived to be 18, she eventually had a stroke so we took her to the vets to put her out of her misery, she sure was a great cat. Thanks flyjabiru1 for the cache and reminding me of my cat.
Found by Mary & David at 1405. Angel was a very lucky cat to have been in your house. We hope you had lots of photos and memories. Perhaps Angel is with a family who needed a cat even more than you did? We enjoyed the grass trees and the quick find. TNLN. Our thanks yet again to flyjabiru1.
I was about to head off through the bush to find this one, when I though I would drive round the corner to see if there was a track, and of course there was.
It was very peaceful up here, so I stopped and had a bite of lunch and enjoyed the scenery.
Took me a little while to spot.
No room for swaps.

Found at 4.00pm GAFF1. We found decoys all over the place - or did we? We eventually found the real hiding spot and took the time to look around at the grass trees. Thanks flyjabiru1.
I'm not big on micros on the bush, but this one's different! I enjoyed a shortish stroll to gz and once there found the very neatly but reasonably obviously hidden cache before very long. Nicely done again thanks flyjabiru1. Team Rubik I am sure have put it back in the right place and all appears well.
I became a cat owner myself a couple of weeks ago and I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I enjoyed exploring this part of the bush, I've been very fortunate to see plenty of Ballarat's outer regions on this trip. The cache was found lying out on the ground, I put it back where I assumed it went. Might be worth a double check next time you are out there.
Thanks,

Found at 1045. After parking almost 200m from GZ, walked through the bush land only to find.....a track. Oh well, at least it wasn't a long or hard walk. Found the cache straight away in a nice but unique fashion.

We also have a cat called Angel (after the famous TV vampire). This was our second visit and we spend some time checking places we had checked before. This one is certainly not your average micro-in-the-bush and in the end give up a lot of enjoyment as our 200th find. TNLNSL Thanks flyjabiru1.

Thanks for the drive around the Canadian State Forest Flyjabiru1, always enjoy this area which is so close to home.
This is where we parted company with Oenze and Feathertop to locate some caches they had already done.

Find # 2188 and 10th of the day at 2:12pm. Accompanied by Feathertop for a day out caching in Ballarat. We usualy find the decoy first, it must have been our lucky day as Feathertop found the cache and yelled out "Found the decoy" but to his suprise it was the cache. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Flyjabiru1...
I am so used to finding decoy caches that I immediately announced that this what I had found. After that I wanted to find the decoy but of course couldn't. Another novel micro in the bush. Thanks
Found with sandar10, top job Flyjabiru1 for the find, first time my new gps took us right to the spot of zero distance. Looked and bingo. TNLN cheers
Found with Highrod at 6:30pm, Easy considering I was worried looking for a micro in the bush! TNLN Thanks.
Our 3rd and Last cache for the day.
Deano found early, but re-hid to give the girls a chance to find one on their own.
Also found the decoy cache (was completely exposed)
Also have to agree with Dazza1's concerns about the technique to hide the decoy.
The real cache was very clever, and where I would normaly whine on about film canisters in the bush, I really enjoyed this hide.
Signed log and we were on our way.
Thanks again FJ1

A late one at 8pm, we found the decoy cache, then the clever hide soon after.
A bit concerned that a tree was damaged to make the decoy, but enjoyed the location, we saw 5 "roos on the way which topped off the find nicely.
