Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
the scrap metal man has taken the whole combine to be rebirthed into a toyota, so I'll have to find a new hidy hole.
Found some cool hiding spots but to our dissapointment no cache.. Couldn't look all day cos we were on a timeline. Thanks anyway

TFTC, now I know why it is called sunshine, very short search revealed the cache, signed log book and then off to the next. Found with Hinco
Slowly making our way back to wagga and came across this gem. Good hide and well out of the weather.
Found it on the way home from Wagga. Put my hand on it straight away. The crops look good this year, someone might need to give her a grease and put her to work lol!!
Thanks.
Thanks.
I was out with Biggles Bear on the third day of the Oz Mega Event. We thought that this might take a while, but BB#1 had it very quickly in his hand. Thanks to hoogs for the cache.
Found 12:55, in the company of Muzza during the Oz Mega Event. An interesting relic of a buy gone era.
TNLN, CSI=3, thanks hoogs.

Spent about 15 minutes on this one. My 6th for the day on my way to Leeton and Griffith. Finally got it, which was good. Loved the name, and saw why. There is a SciFi movie named "Sunshine" which is one of my favorites.
This old machinery should be preserved for future generations to look at in awe, but alas like a lot of other relics, it probably has a watery grave once in a while. A clever hide. TFTC
Found in the company of McPhan and Winglen whilst caching westward.
I love playing around on old machinery, trying to figure out what all the bits do. That made exploring for this cunningly hidden cache a pleasure. Thanks hoogs, especially since this is a milestone 700 finds for me.

2286. Homer Simpson d'oh moment as I realised why this cache was called this. After that aha moment it was easy for RexTrex to make the find amongst the hordes of invading grass seeds.

The grass is really running to seed as the season finishes and we had socks full of them after even a short walk from the car to the cache. A nice bit of old machinery and nicely hidden. Thanks Hoogs.

Thanks Hoogs for showing this really lovely spot near the river. Pity you weren't home when we called past to DNF Good Dog - the family were very hospitable though.

By coincidence I had recently read a book on farming inventions of Australia and this sort of machine was well represented, so it was of added interest to me to find this item. However it was Feathertop who quickly had the neat hide to hand. Thanks the hoogs for bringing us here.
It was nice to be back along the river on our return trip to Wagga. This was the first of three nearby hides and with so many spots to hide a cache here, the clue was both fair and reasonable.
Nicely constructed hide which we both enjoyed.
Thanks Hoogs.

The day before I was on my way to the Wagga Invasion event, and detoured to stop off here. Just after I had gotten out of my car and wandered over to check out the Sunshine, a pair of shady looking characters pulled up in a car with a trailer full of rusty metal in tow. After informing me that I had better be quick if I wanted a look at the object in question, they told me that it wouldn't be there much longer as they were going to cut it up and cart it away!
I didn't like the look of them and made tracks to a cache up the road.
On my way home from Wagga, I returned to see if there was anything left. Fortunately the bulk of it is still there and intact, but it is clear where the scavengers have been at work.
I found the cache easily enough, and signed the log. Hopefully it will remain for others to do the same in the future!
Cheers, Murf.

Found at 1000. Amazing the things people leave on the side of the road. Thought this cache was going to be hidden completely different to how it was. Fantastic work on the hide. Nice to see some ingenuity at work.

Found at 2000 after finding 3 FTFs, time to call it a day. Thanks Hoogs for bringing me to this interesting place.
Another micro and well done. That's 2/2 today and better than I usually do. I do hate micro's in the bush, but this one was OK. Sneaky too.
