I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi BirdFlu
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

We looked everywhere in a 1 metre distance on all places ...found scraps of indistinguishable logs everywherek.... needs major help
Definitely need/deserves a container, found scrappy pieces of paper under a rock. Tftc
Found the logbook but no container. Fun adventure for the kids up to the clock!
Still no container, just the full wet logbook and a little green marble under a stone. Needs a replacement.
Piece of saturated log book located under rock at location. No container. Unable to update log book due to its condition.
No container just saturated piece of paper from log book. Unable to update due to being saturated.
Fourth cache today. Really only a piece of paper (as written in the last log), but ok - dry, with empty space.
Walked up to the clock the found the cache in no container with a popped balloon, loose paper and a magnet. We suggest maintenance is needed soon. Anyway TFTC
All I found was a balloon and a log sheet some way away. Either muggles or the rabbit I scared got it. Needs a new container. Currently protected by an orange balloon.
Found but no pen on us at the moment. Was more of a 'I wonder if we can find it' kind of walk.
attacked this one form the top and had to climb back up to get the car to meet the kids at the bottom, man, the youth of today are unfit TFTC
Found with StreetWalker as we explored Alexandra, letting cache hides be our tour guide .
Quite a few punny caches with a thyme theme in the area - I wonder why ?
After some confusion over this cache and "Thyme for a cache", managed to get them sorted and found. Relieved this one wasn't up by the clock! TFTC.

#16919. Having done the "upper" thyme cache, we drove down to the start of the track, and climbed up to this cache. Another easy find. TFTC.
On our South Island adventure from Perth WA. A nice easy find with Spuddycakes in tow. TFTC
A walk over the Shaky Bridge up to the cache site found easy but needs a new log as only a piece of scrap paper inside to sign. Found with KNCN tftc
For some reason I thought approaching this cache from the top was a good idea! It's doable but I would not recommend it TFTC!!!
While staying in Roxbugh i made a day trip to Al;ex to visit an old friend from many years ago. and so i left really early so i had time to visit some cache that i did not have ion Alex.
A slow walk up to the said rock as it was rather hot today but the cache was soon found, signed and returned, perhaps a little better covered,. I took photos of the clock which i will post later
thank you for the cache and another smiley face.

Happy New Year! Time to catch up on the last five days' logging.
We were silly enough to walk up to the clock in a mix of jandals and slides. Not the easiest for those who weren't to confident on uneven terrain (or, as it turned out, for the one with too much confidence). We enjoyed the walk up, though, and also the reward of picking up an easy find on the way down.

Lovely cache. Enjoyed the artwork. Hot today in the midday sun but that did keep the number of muggles down.
Just completed the Otago Rail trail and tomorrow we are going to ride the Clutha Gold trail. A rest day in Alexandria walking 18 kilometres and cycling 6 kilometres geocaching. TFTC.
A quick walk to grab this one before heading home from Alexandria picking up a cache or two.

Hmm, how do you get to GZ? Didn't realise that you can get underneath the clock but, yes, there is a track the locals use - starting from Graveyard Gully Road is the easy way. A lot of locals have found the cache too!
In Alexandra for a few days holiday over Easter...a long way driving today from Christchurch. After a bit of a walk around we headed back to our accommodation for some tea....then came out for an early evening walk. Been an age since I've walked up here - some great memories (walking up in 30 degree heat...my brother banging his head on the #5 of the clock and bleeding all over it)....Quick find and sign along the way...clock lighting up in the dusk as we were signing....Great views. Cheers.
Well hidden. Have walked past on number of occasions and would never have known it was there. Unfortunately someone left lid open so paper message inside got wet :/ still very nice to find.
The thyme is 7.55pm. An easy find walking off our kfc dinner. A great night with great views of a great little town. Thanks.
Me and my friend found this cache. Nice hot weather when we found this .
In a twist of fate we arrived today to look up at the clock and see the minute hand visibly moving. We quickly realised that it wasn't showing the correct time and was being adjusted. Ironic when the name of this cache is "What's the thyme?" TFTC
We cheated and were dropped off at the top of the hill, walked down and found this cache on the way. Found with AorakiSheep
In Alexandra for work - thought I'd go caching and explore for the evening! Lovely, easy to find cache, nice little spot
So lovely to be able to smell the thyme on the way up. A gorgeous view on a sunny day tftc
Gorgeous views on this glorious day cache found no problem tftc. From the BOP north island
Staying in omakau for the weekend. time to put a few smiles around Alex nice quick find tftc
Up Central for the weekend and a day trip to Alexandra to climb to the top of the Clock. A lovely brisk winters day which still made for awesome views. Love that smell of fresh thyme! Nice quick find by R. TFTC
12.15pm. Mr.JF wandered up to locate this cache while Mrs JF picked wild thyme to take home and dry. Interesting detail about the clock on the sign at beginning of track.
