Decided to chill and hang out at this one before meeting another friend, to hang, but unfortunately this cache didn't wanna hang with me...
Another day maybe...
Another day maybe...
Need to let this pass for the first time, cause another dog muggler close by. We first did a walk and when returning could get this easy, handy cache
Our very first geocache find! The boys and I were terrifically excited - luckily no muggles about! We didn't bring a pencil, though, and had to go back to sign the log.
Got this one while hanging out with dedicaching. The hangout was awesome. Logsheet was full so put in a fresh new log sheet that I had on me.

Spotted quickly and thankful for that, not a type of hide I'm very good at normally. A great spot.

We'd checked the clue so found it quickly but we didn't bring a pen so the log remains unsigned. There was a yellow marble in the cache if that helps to prove we were there
We will stop back some time and sign the log.

On a run today with 2 non-caching friends with little tolerance! Lucky it was a fast one!

Was in a hurry at this point (thanks to an unscheduled airport appointment) after ambling around the crater for the earlier part of the afternoon, but ic_q and I were able to hang out here briefly to grab the find and move on. TFTC
Last time we checked (not too long ago) we noted there are lots of empty pages in the logbook - please fill in the gaps and use the backs of pages too.
Nice spot for noise!! Yippeee!!! ....our 300th cache and we were able to share the event with B&B aka YuGeo4 which was so cool....only the 3rd time we've met some other cachers on the job.....then it was off to Silvia Park for a celebration lunch/dinner.
3.00pm. Drizzling a little so we did not intend to "hang around" Didn't have to for long! Noticed that the log book was nearly full.

Did this little one on the way to a FTF. Needed the hint and like you said, it's in a name. TFTC
Have met a few like this - makes a difference from the traditional hide. Thanks for bringing us to see this area - it is a great loop to collect the other caches around the crater.
Well hung! good hide, blended in well, could be another cache going in aroundf the corner soon.
can finally tick this one off the list!! found with yo mum, another one that it has taken us multiple goes to find. last time i was here i was on crutches, which may have hindered my looking abilities, im not sure... not many troubles this time though, thanks
Took the GCDD for a walk, lovely maintained walkway - Second find in the morning SL TFTC
After finding a couple of similar caches out East on my last trip to Auckland I was primed as to what to look for. I just had to wait for the council mowing contractor to finish his runs near GZ and then the cache was quickly signed off. T4TC.
On our way back from the walk over the motorway I quickly ran to collect this one while the kids walked back to the car. TFTC
A quick find during a walk this morning to find some of the caches in the area. Signed log, TFTC!
Im getting the hang of these!! I had a feeling this was going to be a "needle in a haystack" find, which I dont really have the patience for! I gave it the 5 minute look, and there it was.... Thanks.
I had this well looked after park to myself this morning, a quick look and had the cache. From any angle you look at it a welldone hide. SL 1022hr TFTC
Trying to find this one just after dusk with a torch proved to be a bit hard. So will have to revisit during the daytime.
SECOND ATTEMPT-HAVE FOUND THREE "HANGING" CACHES NOW SO KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR!GREAT HIDE-AGREE WITH THE "RIGHT APPROACH" COMMENT-TFTC
Found by JDHnz during an afternoon of caching dodging the showers. Wasn't where we intially anticipated but from the right angle a relatively easy snaffle. TFTC
Out with the whole family including Great White. A lovely day for caching.

Found after a minute or two of looking. Dunno what the local residents watching must think seeing geocachers burying there heads looking for this? All the same ostritches I guess.

We have hung out in a few different places now. We add this one to our collection! Quickly spotted. Thanks.

Harder to spot than we thought. We understood what we were looking for but it took a while

found the second we got there!!! marmoswine360 was making a bit of a fuss over his broken hat.T4TC
Yep, it *is* there, but it was on the ground as the tree had outgrown its original "hang out". Have put the cache back into another spot, but will go back and swap the container at some point for one with a better hook.
Hey Dude ! another one bited the dust .easy find just had to wait for muggle to pass with dogs we met earlier .TFTC

Nice quick find, didn't hang around too long - a few muggles enjoying an early morning walk!

Wondered what muggles would have thought to see a group of geocachers hanging out, bunched closed together in this a tight spot behind a bush in Northcote . Fortunately for us, no muggles witnessed this strange cache hunt-retrieval-log-&-ehide ritual. TFTC.
Another amazing view of the city and obviously a Tai Chi training ground! Another one in the Hanging Out series located T4TC
XC trying to get my daily average up... Stopped here on way to work for my daily cache. Parked Splat nearby and walked over to GZ. Easy find..

Yee ha pleased to find this one. Very clever placement. A very hot sunny day, lovely park. SL. TFTC.
Picked where hanging out from 93 meters away, but it was Joan (of Darby & Joan) who actually spied it first. 3rd in series now found. SL TFTC
Just back from an overseas trip and had to go caching! This one took us to a nice park tucked away, yet very exposed! One muggle ambled along, but we feigned photographic interests. A fun day out and about with friends. Caching in NZ is so much more enjoyable than in India!
Have enjoyed the Hanging Out adventures. Indiana Jill back from her overseas journey, so we decided to do some caches in the area with Seattle’s Best and BookwormMum. Had heard of this park but never been down so thanks for bringing us here. TFTC!
Doin' the cache dance with Indiana Jill, Kayaknkiwi and Bookworm Mum. Found this hangin out right where it should be! TFTC!
Just catching up on some overdue logging - loved this little one as just for once I wasn't last to spot it when out with the team! TFTC
Spent quite a while searching for this one. And then I found it on the ground. Seems someone (maybe even me) may have knocked it onto the ground. Replaced as best I could. Cheers Gav [2340]
Found with Q Moto. Nice to get this one after missing another hangout. TFTC.
Found it quite easily - thank goodness it was where i thought. The area was so saturated i thought i was going get wet feet - thank goodness for my tramping boots. TFTC TNLNSL
A good gumboot cache at the moment after all the rain.
Cache found quickly which was a relief as I missed a similar hide earlier in the day.
Many thanks

Looked under the obvious place but then read the name again and finally uncovered it. tftc.
Found with my wife and daughter of 4 months (I like to think i am geekifying her early). Beautiful Sunday afternoon stroll around the crater. TNLN TFTC
Now in october planning a cache raid for Northcote, and spotted that this one wasn't a little smiley on the map, even though i'd found it months ago!!! did this one with maxtheman500, sorry about the very late log, don't know how I missed it!

Walked the track from Tuff enough in a race with RadioNut who took the car. Got there at the same time! Great walk - mostly flat. Easy cache find.
