Gone, freeing up the area for someone else to place a cache here. Thanks for the visits.
Hi FMZ, can you please confirm cache is still there? otherwise maybe archiving is a sollution
Saw that it hadn't been found in a while but we were in the area anyway and thought we would have a quick look. No luck though.
Good look but certain it's not there, found fabric piece which might have been the cache cover?
Should have seen that this one hasn't been found in almost a year before we wandered further along the track. A big DNF for us.
17-01-2011
Put us down for a DNF on this one--there was nothing there--believe it may be gone.

Went past this one in the hope of finding the final of a nearby puzzle cache. Well at least i got this one. TFTC
Found in seconds by Jnr Pastamaker. Cache was completely exposed so we covered it when we left but suspect the high winds are responsible for removing the cover.

This was made not so tough due to the fact it we saw it from a few paces back - all intact though and still nice and dry. Tried to give it a bit more stealth on the re-hide. TFTC
#1298. The toughest bit was to have to wait out the passing of the showers today. Nice placement. Unfortunately My First Bag GC was not in the cache.

Was a good day to visit (Sunday) as we were able to park in the nearby muggle-business' spaces, right on the cache. Great view over a 'wilderness' area between commercial and residential areas. Thanks for bringing us to this point.
Found this one. Nice and easy. Working in the building in behind it. Last find on this trip before heading home to Australia.
Left 2 TB's Aust Falg and First Bag. Now they can have a trip around NZ.

nice easy short walk and find.....if you dont take the wrong path!, we took the lower path from AMJ and had a a hot sweaty walk along the water front before realising staying up near the buildings would be the better option. Still nice little cache, briming with stuff for the kids. Dropped off a TB. TFTC
Decided to wait for the sunset for this one. It was totally worth it!!! Went with diggadydoggy and ended up having a bit of a photo shoot with the sunset in the background. Amazing view, even with the clouds! TFTC Took peg Left smiley face flashing badge
Easy find...nice shady spot....TFTC

A quick easy find. Cache a little bit uncovered, hide again before leaving. TNLN SL 1113hr TFTC
On the due list for a verrrrrryyyyyyyyyy long time. Parking is always an issue during the day.
Had to pick something up from the nearby camera store, so parking was no problemo this time.
Nice views. Quick find.

Found with JDHnz during an afternoon of caching dodging the showers and after a bit of a hunt around possible GZs. TFTC
Found with the assistance of TreMichLan. Coordinates seemed to be a little bit out, so had us digging through the leaves in the wrong area for a little while. TNLNSL, thanks.
No 26 for the day. Glad I did this one on a Sunday. Would be really difficult during the week. TFTC
Stopped here while doing maintenance on our cache Where House.
Swift find in the first place we looked. Nice views from here too.

Apologies for late posting. Nice easy cache on afternoon out with Kayaknkiwi. Would recommend it for weekend caching though, parking easy as pie, and no spectators! TFTC
Wow what a view, gives you a different perspective on city from this point. Much appreciated. We got here as the sun was heading down beautiful. Nice hide no problem here with muggles today, no one was around! Thanks for the adventure. TFTC!
Found with Yeetrees on our big Auckland cache raid weekend.

Not too many issues with this one today, so it wasn’t too tough, decided to rescue Huey McDuck CR Geocoin to move to new home. TFTC LNSL(937)
Found with cheekykea5 and coolkiwi3. Got REALLY muddy slip-sliding around on the wet grass. BEWARE!!
A Bit of a Tough One wasn't too tough today. On this rainy Saturday we used the empty carparks of the nearby commercial buildings, and parked almost on top of it! Great view of the tuff crater. Thanks.

Easy find but pays to look at the map or else it's a 2.5km hike if you park in the wrong place , good for the fitness and step count though and that's what it's all about (as well as the smiley faces on the maps and the numbers ). T4TC.
Further on our Sunday Stroll, went on to find this one. Also managed to find a shortcut back to the bottom track a bit slippery though. Nice views from up here. SL TNLN. TFTC.

This one tried to trick us but we got there - and much less trickery than the near by one that had us fooled!
A Sunday is definitely a good day to visit if you want to get close in the car!
Many thanks

Much easier to park around here on the weekend. Nice easy find, a bit wet under foot. T4TC
4.25pm. Knew there would be a quicker way but enjoyed the wander around. Took the direct way back on this Sunday afternoon as a rain cloud was brewing and it was cold!!. No difficulty with the find. GPSr very reliable.

A bit of a tough one – NOT. No one around today, so we managed to get a cheeky parking spot within 20m of GZ. Nice views, thanks FMZ.

[Making the most of a day off, couldn't resist having a look for this one.
On such a nice day and with so much commercial muggle activity going on, taking the most obvious route didn't seem the best plan,] so elected to park in suburbaville further around and "take the low road", around the inside of the crater.
[Lil trek and FTF victory was mine!] [:-)]
