Logs
Didn't read the logs until at GZ, never mind. Nice spot, hope you get the cache back in place. Cheers.
Look for about an hour could not find found three places it could of been hidden due to other comments i think this cache has gone on a whee walk about
After looking at the nearby Earthcache, we stopped at this one with out looking at the previous logs. Hunted all over the place, checking all sorts of likely looking spots to no avail. After hunting awhile, checked the logs to see that there had been a number of DNF's on this cache. The lovely old building looks as if its suffered some damage in the earthquakes, wonder if the cache might have been disturbed by the inspectors?
I spent a bit of time searching but found nothing. Fencing has been put up because of the earth quake so maybe that is a problem
7th cache on our cyclocache tour around Halswell. Met another cacher looking for the same cache, he replaced the logbook.

easy find thanks. No restrictions for access post quake. The notebook does need replacing though - it is more than full.
Relatively simple cache - the park has taken a bit of a hammering in the quake along with quite a few building It is very much open with some of the trails re-routed
The place nearby may well have, but it would be closed at the moment as its cordoned off. Still safe to reach the cache though.

Almost missed it but a second, better search yielded the treasure! Great spot, thanks for the cache.
I loved this whole area and the way it had been turned from an industrial plant site into a green and historical public amenity. Good cache site here too, thanks 4Otago.
Generally this type of location takes us ages to locate a cache, but in hand pretty swiftly. Loved the stonework of the nearby house.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
A very nice location for this find, as we made our way around this area to bag a number of caches in a short time - gotta love that at the end of the day. TFTC!
There was an easy way to this one, but some of us only found it on the way back. Great looking building, thanks for showing us another piece of the local history.

Last Halswell quarry cache find for us today. No muggles near GZ, so easy to hunt freely. Spotted after a short search. Thanks.

#1624 The hider of the cache must be a short person as it was found at stomach height! TNLN DS8300
The GPS had me a couple of meters off, which was a nice spot, but no little hidey holes! After widening my search slightly the cache hiding spot became obvious. Thanks for bringing me to this nice historical area. I will have to return another day to look further (and find a whole pile of other caches in here)

Second find on our day out caching in Halswell. Quick and easy find, cache a little damp. TFTC
Nice wander - what a pity about the lovely building nearby. It's screaming out for a bit of TLC.
Lovely evening for a walk and a poke around. We took the opportunity to take the dog for a walk too. TFTC Long-John

Found with YuGeo4,really loved this spot heaps to look at, found quickly after parking the car in the main carpark, just managed to replace it before a muggle turned up, time to climb a small hill, and really was hot today in Christchurch. TFTC TNLNSL (1450)
