Wish we'd been there when things were more eventful. Searched high and low, tried to read lots into the clue (we reckoned that it described most of the possible places pretty well!) but no luck.
After exhaustive search of the area we were unable to find the goods. We even had a previous finder of the cache in our midst but that did not help but hey you win some and you loose some.
A nice nano in an interesting place. But in need of maintainance badly, log is full and the container is broken
Found early in the morning while visiting Orange on our round OZ trip.I,ll admit it did take us nearly an hour but we got it in the end. This cache needs a new log paper and it doesn,t appear to be sticking properly anymore. Thanks Bshwckr. Silky Seekers.
GPSr said I was searching for a micro. So it took me a while to find it. Definately be back with the geosons when the trains are on. TfTC
Found at 4.40pm. Travelling from Bendigo to Orange. I got 25 km from Orange and had car prob's...my friends helped me out and then took me to find this cache. TNLN. TFTC.
What an amazing little park - even without the monthly activity it is an interstring one to wander around. Will definitely be back when it is in full swing (and I am told the same day as the farmers markets which will make the drive from Sydney more than worthwhile!).
TFTC!

A lot of mugglers in the park today. Watch out for the squash players returning from their game.
A quick find only to have it come apart in my hand. There was nothing for it but to head back to the van park and some 5 minute epoxy. All should be OK but probably should be checked.
Thanks bshwckr

3749. Looked around and found several things not like the others but a short fondle of metal objects later and the cache was in hand. Doesn't look like it's attached like it's supposed to be.

Out for a weekend's caching with Black Bunny. We could have chosen better weather - it rained and hailed and poured and there was thunder and lightning, and we got wet and muddy, and had no dry clothes to put on. On top of that, we took the dogs, so we had wet muddy dogs, with that distinctive wet dog smell, in the car all weekend as well. Black Bunny was very keen to get a few caches, as his average was dropping, whatever that means! I think we managed that, as he came home with a smile on his face.
This one cost us at least 10 minutes of searching - even the clue didn't help. It also cost us wet knees, on top of all the other bits we already had. And that was after we'd cruised past and seen a couple 'canoodling' right in plain sight of where we wanted to be, so we had to drive on, and return later. After all that, we weren't going to let it beat us, so we got methodical, and eventually found it.

Out for a weekend's caching in Orange with Just a Cacher on a very wet weekend with some very wet dogs in tow. After being foiled earlier in the day due to some amorous teenagers it was back to give this one another go.
With plenty of places to hide it was time to be methodical and make the find. SL Thanks for bringing us here.

In Orange to visit cousins, quick 5 minute find.
Clues narrowed the search down to 2/8.
Nice little cache container, needs to be glued back onto the magnet.
Clever Idea of putting the green stick in, aids alot in rolling the paper.

Reperio at 0630. Last time I was here trying to get this one was at the time of the Bathurst Invasion Event, and at that time there were muggles everywhere with no chance of getting anywhere near it. This time I made sure no one was going to be around, and after 5 minutes of searching, the torchlight bounced off the cache.
Gratias.

very very nice hide mate ended up going back at least three times with mates and family and after all of that my four year old brother found it in little under five minets so that was very annoying! but thanks!
Really really good hide we had to come there a few times but the funny thing was my little brother found it.
Last time in town I missed this one run out of time!!! But my 4yr old Nephew found this one before the GP's even settled down so it couldn't be that tough [^][^]
Took a while to find it. When I did spot it to start with, didn't realise it was the cache, so kept on looking. Then came back to it, and soon realised it was the cache when I discovered that it could be moved. TFTC
On a tour of Orange geocaches with Darth Boy whilst here for son's Champion of Champions soccer. Took a bit of hunting around to find this one, but the local miniature railway operator was obviously aware of geocaching, so we knew we were in the right place. TFTC
I think this is my 2nd or 3rd attempt at this cache, and with a little help from a friend found it quickly, now thinking how did I miss that. No muggles about today I guess all the wet weather is good for something right. A great location for a cache, thanks
In all the years coming to Orange for work or visiting relo’s I had no idea that there was a miniature rail park here. Have to make sure I come again when it is operating. Thanks for bringing me here.
Found this one twice today, the second time took longer than the first. First found at the park pretty quickly today with the geofamily & the Southward 4 - had to remove as broken, took home to fix & then couldn't find it!! After frantic search at home found it again. Will repair & replace by Sunday!! TFTC
First time user - took a few moments of searching but eventually found but couldn't log as pen had stopped working.
This one was on our must find list.
Geo-daughter was standing right next to it when I found it, she really wanted to find this one.TFTC

Got to this one and found I hadn't written down the co-ords. so took a rough guess and had a good look around, no luck, so made a phone call, got the co-ords, collected the other half and had another go, surprising enough my guess had put me right on the spot, but still didn;t find it, have to try another day.
I've seen a lot of parks like this with bits and pieces of track lying around, but this one actually looks like it's used on a regular basis
What a pity one of those regular bases wasn't today
At least it wasn't muggle central
So I got to spend a quality half hour poking and prodding and looking and hoping that I'd actually find this cache
I did eventually, but only after ingnoring the clue and the GPS

Attempted to find this cache on New Year's Eve but got accosted by friendly rail enthusiasts there for a members day. Great little trains. Returned today-another minute little cache.
Had a good look for this one but it escaped me, will give it another go next time in Orange. Great park and lovely railway. thanks
Found by Mary & David at 1410. Glad it was the wrong Sunday. Where to start? The methodical engineer went to work and had it in minutes. Just as well after two previous DNFs. Needs a new log. Our thanks to bshwckr.
This was our first find for the day. A great hide in a wonderful park. The geokids have enjoyed this park for many years before we became cachers. Thanks
Had a look for this one with no luck.
Couldn't make any sense of the clue.
I'll remember this park for the kids if we ever come back.
Thanks.

This resulted in a big of a hunt, and we spotted a few 'unique' tracks, but we found it in the end. Sneaky hide. Cheers Gav [4174]
having read the logs I figured this would not be easy. Having not much time in a busy day I gave myself 10 minutes. No joy. I stopped and thought about the clue, and the type of cache it would be and had it in hand a minute later.
Enjoyed the hunt. Good to get the grey matter moving. TFTC SL

77 - FINALLY! This had become a real nemesis cache.... Armed with a clue from 'wing6rider' and seeing that it had been found by 'Jenmen' only days before, I was determined not to leave GZ without it! A good methodical search eventually proved to be the key. What a rewarding find! Thanks to 'bshwckr' for this very sneaky cache.
[Came looking for this one today but had no joy. Even with a previous finder with me.
Reckon this one is gone or it has suffered major cache creep.]
Wonder if the last finder really did find it.
[Thanks anyway.]

First find in Orange. Plane was late so I embarked on a nighttime caching mission once I got there. Devious little hide. Not sure where all these tracks go. Maybe it will make more sense in daylight. Thanks for the cache.
after scratching a nearby DNF some 18 months later ... thought I would push my luck here ....
mmm 'derailed' my luck with this one, not through lack of trying tho.
maybe next time

This was my most frustrating DNF,
Everything, and I mean everything was seached.
I sooooooo didn't want a DNF in this prime location, but alas, that is the way it must be.
Thanks for the cache and thanks for showing me this great place.

This was one very sneaky cache, we checked GZ and had the Geogods on our side for once but still with so much close looking we still could not get this one I was covered in grease by the time we gave up too! Bummer Oh well it will keep for next time!
304 Found after quite a hunt! I resorted to the hint but in the end I think it was more of a distraction as there was so much you could read into it! What an interesting place must come back when it's in operation. Extreme challenge I think with people around! TFTC
1075 - Day 3 of the Bathurst Invasion - on the way home via Orange...
This brought back childhood memories of growing up with traintracks in the backyard and having the most popular birthday parties !!
I ran distraction while Sol found, grabbed, signed and returned the cache - neat place...
TNLN - TFTC !!

Well, the place was packed. However with a bit of a history with this gear in this past time, we started chatting to the drivers. While Fitzy was talking with one, I started taking photo's of the steaming bays and the one that was 'different'. On one look down, the cache was spied and retreived. It was then just a matter of sitting down away from the group, signing the look and repeating the move to replace it.
A good fun cache that brought back a lifetime of memories.
Photo's included.........
Thanks for the fun.

After locating the cache I took it over to a table to sign but in the process walked under the ladder attached to the signal. I saw this as good luck as afterall I had just found a micro! Have relatives in Orange so will make a point of visiting this location when it is open. Thanks.
Found with no trouble as we came on an off weekend. Will have to come back and see the show some time.

6 hours to spend in Orange while the car is serviced - I wonder how I can fill the time ??? This made us look hard but we found it.
Nice hide. Needed the clue though. Grabbed cache, signed and repleced in a flash. TFTC.

Went to do this one, but, no, the choo choos were in attendance today, so, was happy to get a ride for the daughter and me to checkout the choo choos!
Will look for this another day.
Will look for this another day.
This was one the best of the day - a tricky hide in a very public place. Unfortuneately no choo choos today bust still enjoyed looking at the lines and works.
A very interesting little location. Was a bit hard to find - had to have a second look. I would like to come back one day when it's running.
Second of two found today along with Poetry Park GCZJH4. Both provided some challenges. Thanks bshwckr for the entertainment and keep up the good work. Found at 1645 today. Maxi and The Jackpot.
Took two attempts. Great cache hiding spot. High probability of muggles, even 7:30 in the morning.
Thank You
Thank You
had to make sure i wasnt between the rail, on the wrong side of the tracks.
Quick find in the dark.
Will have to come back on running days to see the action.
The band isn't too bad either.

Although I think my co-ords are out a couple of meters, I think the images on Google Maps for this location are out another couple. Together, the image in Google Maps points to a location several meters away from where it is.
I dont have a GPS but used Sat images and was able to find location, but nothing else...I turned it upside down and still couldnt find anything.....maybe the buggers at Telstra are having a good laugh at us idiots (probably only me) trying to find it!!! lol
Hi Bushwacker,
Had a bit of trouble finding the cache, but after a few clues, got it...had the kids facinated with the size of a micro, they were hoping to raid it for the usual toys, but were disappointed there was only a few pieces of paper.
Thanks for the cache bushwacker

Tried a different glue this time. Trouble is the magnet is so strong that it wants to stay where it is.
Nice work, did not know these were here! My new muggle friend found the cache(the caretaker)he was totally taken in by the caching idea,a potential new cacher.
Bad news is the glue did not hold! the cache is on a cross bar on the same original hide, the piece that come of is still holding it in place but just a little differently!
Other than that you are right it is a little different although my 00 had me 5mt's away.
Thanx for the virgin, good cache.
