School time is not good for this cache, mabye next time i'll have to opp to look without the sniffly kids hop skipping and jumping around gz! One of two dnf for today.
Searched for a moment, when a muggle kid on a bicycle asked us what we were doing. We told him we were looking for Yabbies. He "had no idea there were yabbies here" so when he started looking himself, we sneakily backed away to leave him be...

Not sure how we missed this the last time around, as it's in a pretty obvious spot. Oh well, we've found it now.

Located at 1720 hours - had to kill time due to muggles but the ducks were great to watch - left umbrella
Found this one at 08:30 while on the way home from a morning's outing in this area. Geko kept pointing me to one particular place, which I thought couldn't be right but sure enough it was. Great hide .
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks homerjay73.

Like 'Keeper of Time' I have search for this one before and I swear that it wasn't there. All smiles today.
Found at 1430. Having found a few of homerjays hides today made this one a lot easier to find. Not sure its completely suited to its location, but it does the trick.
Thanks for the effort of another nice cache.

Having searched in vain on a previous trip to this area and again earlier today it was great to at last find this one. It might have been yet another latte from the nearby cafe or searching from a different viewpoint that made the difference, either way were glad to at last cross this one off the list.

Found by Mary & David at 1320. Another lovely area and a quick find too. The area was almost deserted. The ducks must be used to being fed, as they came running when we appeared. Our thanks again to homerjay73.
Located by rubus pickers at 3.00pm after a quick search. The 4th of four for the day. Thanks homejay73.
We had been here a few times before. Once when it had been muggled, another when a farmers' market made any foray frought and a third when one's batteries may have been running low. Finally the act came together, although methinks cache creep may be an interesting factor. A celebratory visit to the nearby cafe for a flat white and a vanilla slice was in order. TFTC and good riddance
Found as part of our Mernda/Doreen day trip. Picked up by Adam while Shelly kept watch from the car. Found after a bit of a search. Lucky it was pretty quiet today. Thanks for the cache!
Found at 4.40pm GAFF4. Last time we were here we were looking all over with no success. This time we had adjusted our expectancy rating and the cache was found within a short time. Thanks HJ73 - glad that there were not many people around the cafe nearby today.
We found this cache at 4:40pm as the 10th of 14 on our Kinglake to Yan Yean tour. Thanks for the cache from D,H,K & A B-A.
This was our second attempt at this cache, last time when we pulled up two kids had built themselves a BMX ramp nearby and didn't look like they were going to tire of it anytime soon so we decided to leave it for another day. Today was that day. The cache was located in under 10 minutes. We headed to the shelter of a nearby tree to fill out the log where we had to wait for a little while for a couple of muggles to move on.

Number 19 of 25 finds in our "Epping and beyond" day out. Found at 3.00pm. Geez - the ducks out here ARE as big as emus - scary! A quick find of this cleverly-hidden cache. TNLNSL. Thanks homerjay!
15:00 was the time this cache was found! This cache hunt was completed with Scooters Mob on our joint geocaching expedition. tnLNSL TFTC
Found while we were heading for a different cache but no matter. A2Y had the hiding area but it was me who effectively stopped him! As things would have it I soon started searching where he had stopped and there it was. A nice hide thanks homerjay73.
Fourteenth of twenty two cache finds for the day in the company of Alansee, the cache was found at 1425. I guessed the hide method as we walked to Z but still took us a minute or two to find it. I am always amazed at the amount of domestic ducks that seem to be around. Thanks homerjay73 for the cache.

Found by Roma and Max.
There were plenty of bird life here but no emus.
Perhaps because we are not Simpsons fans we are missing the subtleties in the naming of your caches!
We left our mark in the log.
Thanks again homerjay73 for another in this series.

We had a local in a 4WD thinking we were a bit suspicious, but they soon lost interest. Great place just designed to hold a cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

This ------ was obviously made for hiding geocaches. Couldn't have done it better I think.

Yes it has happened! unfortunatly this HAS been MUGGLED!! I think that the last to see it alive had tried to retrieve while the market was on and arroused some interest from the local muggle population.
No matter I will place a new one soon.

Hmm, I thought this one was going to be a fairly obvious hide given the description. However, this was not to be - we even read the logs and it sounded like we were looking in the right place. Doh!
The first of a number of DNFs today. By the look of Biggles Bear's log, we were looking in the right place. I called Feathertop to confirm and he advised that that was the spot that it used to be. I believe that this one is MIA. We did make use of the cafe nearby for lunch though.
Found at 1300 hrs. There was a market over the road so everyone was busy. A quick log and we were off.
Thanks Homerjay73

This was a lovely wetland with the promise of a good cup of coffee if we made a quick find. Plenty of ducks sheltering form the wind here.
Found by Bob at 1530
I was a bit surprised to see the dnfs for this one - I thought it was pretty easy (and I don't know how long it will last). At least it was a nice spot to do a bit of logging - the wetlands are quite attractive just here.
Thanks once more Homerjay73

Found with featherdown on a cold Sunday morning. We immediatley spotted a coffee shop opposite but the cache had to come first. There were a cluster of rather cold dusks sheltering under the bridge and hhey did not move on my approach. After that the cache eventually yielded its location. Thanks homerjay.
On a caching day with Muzza and Barcoder cache # 19 of 30 today. Cache found at 1440. My thanks to homerjay73 for the cache.
This was cache # 13 of 16 in my day out with Kiwideb and Barcoder. Last week I was looking for one of Homerjay73's special works but failed. Since then, I was given a hint passed on to Pprass from LuckDogsCrew so I knew what to look for. However, it wasn't required as Barcoder walked straight to the spot and grabbed it. My thanks to homerjay73 for the cache.
This is number 18 of 30 caches found today in company with Muzza and Kiwideb on another great caching day. The weather was perfect, the company excellent, the caches fantastic. For some reason this one reminded me of a series at Southbank a couple of years ago. My GPR was really behaving for me today and it hit the jackpot almost at once. Not too many muggles to speak of at this time of day. We decided to reward ourselves with an ice cream at the nearby eatery to support the locals. Saw plenty of ducks but no emus. Sorry dak you will be disappointed when you get here. Many thanks for this cache homerjay73.

I too spent quite a bit of time searching for Homeryjay's usual creative constructions but gave it away and started looking for the other obvious locations. I tried to look like a bird fancier enjoying the view while I scribbled in the log book and carefully replaced it when the coast was clear.
Thanks Homerjay,

Was busy looking at Homerjay's usual type of cache with no luck, when I decided to stop thinking so much and have a look where I would put it.And there it was. Was a difficult grab is such a busy spot.

DNF at 3.55pm. We were just speaking to LuckDogsCrew a few minutes ago and he mentioned that he found this one ok - but do you think we could? We searched all around, looked in all sorts of nooks and crannies, but nothing. Wished we had taken LDC's phone no.! We will be back.

Having done a number of homerjay73 caches so far today, I thought I knew what I was looking for. But despite my best efforts, nothing meeting my expectations was discovered. After a reasonable search, I abandoned in favour of other caches on my list.
pocketrocket&friends were second to find (again!) on 10/2/08 at 3.05pm. GPS did not like this area too much and we weren't impressed when muggles decided to gate crash the area. We gave it one last chance and the find was ours! Logged it and quickly replaced it.
TFTC homerjay, keep it up!

Finally, a FTF! The GPS took me right to GZ straight away. I thought for sure this would have been found by the time I got there, but no.
Nice spot. When I found it, I thought of Mrs Hoovers comment about the new detention hall.
