I searched thoroughly here but couldn't find it. I'll be in Cowley Beach for a week helping a friend with some stuff at her place so I'll have time to search again.
Two night stay at the lovely caravan park, pity about the wind though. Great to walk along the beach and see waves. We had to look twice to find this cache after overthinking it and the billions of green ants around the trees. We found it in the end. TFTC
Bravo ballbagandbumblebee! What geocache. R found himself in deep with a cane toad before we realised wrong hole!

Wrong button again. Found your cache today while exploring the coast. Thanks for bringing us here.
Took me waay longer than it should have due to my deliberating should I stick my hand in ‘there’. After reading a few logs I decided I didn’t have to and eventually found right place to stick hand into. Clever. TFTC
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 95. Tully Day 9. I had left myself one day to explore the region so I headed out to the Mission beach area. I was rewarded with my first every wild adult Cassowary sighting. I managed a few caches and a nice walk on the beach. I also visited an amazing river on the flat area west of the highway. It is very interesting in amongst the cane fields.
So many rocks, so few caches. Once I found the right rock, there was a cache safely hidden behind, and even the remains of an old container.
Thanks for the cache Ballbag&Bumblebee

Yay our first! There was a muggle curious of our intentions, beware! We left something cute and soft
Found with NutCacheBNE, really hard to return to hide with muggles right on the edge of van park.
21/10/21 Find #5107
Day 13 of our road trip adventures. Fangsoki and I checked out of Atherton early to make our way towards Mission Beach with the obligatory stops along the way.
We arrived in Cowley Beach and pulled up under the shade of a lovely big tree.
I spied something that looked like a cache hide - However removing the rock, all I found was a dead toad, which made me jump! However I soon found the other hide, moved the right rock, and found a cache. Only when signing it did I see the amazing honeycomb nest behind the cache. Thankfully it seems abandoned - nothing buzzed around us here today.
Thanks for the cache Ballbag&Bumblebee.

1MinnieMoo and I were on our way to Mission Beach - when we decided to divert to grab this one.
We puttered into town and noticed a likely hiding spot. We were soon signing the log. We rehid the cache as found. A very pretty and small town. Incidentally, this cache is currently the 889th active oldest cache in Queensland (a place shared with 3 other caches). TFTC Ballbag&Bumblebee

TFTC Nice and easy find. Might be dangerous soon as bees have made a nest very close to it.
Using geocaches today for a tour of the area.
Was initially thrown off looking deep into the rabbit hole before spotting the hide behind the greenery.
Thanks Ballbag&Bumblebee for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

Bruce went in saw the rock and went in further. Nice size container found. Thanks for hiding and bringing us here.
Just saw a dnf. I replaced the original cache as it was all broken. This is more a cache for possums then rabbits . Remember rocks don’t grow on trees . Think outside the obvious
20/2/21 18:00 i liked the cleverness of this cache. No wonder it has tripped some up. TFTC Ballbag&Bumblebee
Found this but alas it has degraded and is full of dirt. So have replaced with a new container to keep in play-have alerted the cache owner. If anyone has a log book, please place in container as I only had a sheet of paper. I have chucked some swag in to get it going again. Ps the hidey hole is not the obvious one, this true one is well hidden. Photo of new cache
This is a photo of new cache as it didn’t attach to my last log. Old cache is behind new cache in case owner wants to retrieve and fix
Was a great hint but still turned up nothing , pretty sure Cache has been muggled as hiding spot is most excellent..
Another lovely detour to a beach
I'm guessing it isn't turtle nesting season at the moment.
Or at least hoping it is not.
As the locals were happily driving up and down the beach on their quadbikes
Meanwhile at the caravan park,
I soon found GZ
The rocks were found,
but behind them was no trace of a cache,
no matter how far in I stuck me paw
I gave up feeling about when blood was drawn

Spent a bit of time poking and prodding.....unfortunately a DNF for me . TFTH though.
Thanks Ballbag & bumblebee. Found with no trouble or muggles on this windy day. Thanks for bringing us here, nice to see another turtle beach. Cheers from the Moreton Geocaching Group
After 10 minutes we gave up. We have an idea of where it is but couldn't reach.
Found at 11:17 AM GAFF3.
Left Babinda after staying there for 2 nights and now heading south darting here and there exploring the coast. At GZ we did the circuit once or twice and then we looked a bit more closely and dived in trying to avoid the green ants - didn't work
However we did spot an interesting item behind some vegetation
Thanks Ballbag&Bumblebee.

Quick find whilst visiting a friend in Cowley. Guarded by green ants and a swarm of mozzies but quickly signed log and got out quick smart TFTC!
We made a quick find and sign in between muggles this morning. The caravan park is still very busy and workers were busy whipper snippering around the boat ramp.
We grabbed the trackable to move it along.
Many thanks for the hide Ballbag&Bumblebee[^]

Thought i'd get myself off the xbox and head down to Cowley for some caching. Just before we left dad put the phone on charge for fifteen minutes and had forget to take it with us which meant right when we got to Mourilian we were phone-less. Luckily we remembered the details of the cache like hint and description though had no clue where the cache itself was. We remembered though that the cache was somewhere near the caravan park so after we had a jog along the beach we went back to GZ (well what we thought was GZ) and searched for about five minutes. We had just about given up when luckily mum and dad had bumped into one of there friends which spared me some time. When I was looking I didn't really have any faith of finding it. Right at that moment I had a thought that the cache was across the road . So I crossed the driveway with stealth. After looking for two minutes I had just about given up when I had remembered the hint and put my hand it the hidey hole to reveal the cache. I quickly put the geocoin in and took the new one out. TFTC B&B
Last cache for me on a long weekend of caches in the CNS region.
Very quiet place here, left a geocoin that had gone missing in my car for some weeks.
Now that the coin is on the road again I will head home and prepare for an upcoming caching milestone of mine
Thanks for the hide

Staying in Innisfail for the month doing some work so decided to find a few local caches. Nice hide. TFTC Ballbag&Bumblebee.
Quick find. Was a bit sketchy on putting my hand in the hole : ) Good size container & nice spot. Thanks!
another detour of the highway to attempt a find on a cache we have driven past numerous times
quick stop at the beach for a look first
than look for the cache on the way out
the reluctant geocaching partner grabbed it,
whilst I was removing green ants that attacked me whilst looking elsewhere
nice stash ... some TBs visited
cheers

What a peaceful location. So glad there was nothing more than green ants guarding this cache after seeing previous post. TFTC
What a fantastic, picturesque place. The drive out in itself was gorgeous and I wish we had more time to spend there. The hint was great and saved me from sticking my hand into spooky places. TFTC T-Canada Micro 2009 GC, no other trackables found in cache.
Now this is a first. One place we have never been before even though we have passed the turnoff many times. This was a quick easy find after ignoring the GPS and following our senses. TNLN TFTC.
We will be staying in the Cowley Beach area from the 21st Dec until the 4th Jan. Find the TB that I have Virtual placed in this cache (It's our car so of course it won't fit) and you will find us.
ObS72 and I were on a work road trip and decided to make a short detour to grab this one. A quick DIDO once at GZ. Grabbed a TB. TFTC.
On a car job from Cairns to Townsville with MattCNS. We decided to take a brief detour, of the beaten track and head into Cowley Beach. Once at the GZ, the search began and it was Matt who discovered the prize. TFTC Ballbag & Bumblebee. T: nothing. L: Yamaha Quadcacher GC. SL. {#412}.
Nice hide at a great location. Thanks for bringing us here
