Hi there Crisp image,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Whew this was a tough one! The coords can only get you so far, then you need to work with your caching instincts and hope the hider has followed along. In this case I was really happy and it just seemed like a logical spot.
With the wife running with her running crew from Pakenham to Oakleigh stopping at every train station on their myki run, I had the morning to myself. Knowing some FTF were available on Mt Erica it was an easy choice for the destination.
I attempted to find this one on the trip up, but there was still too many campers around. On the return trip, with only 1 family exploring the rocks, with the father aware of geocaching, I started the search. With the rocks interfering with the GPS signal, I spent about 10 minutes looking with no luck. Read the hint which makes sense only if coming from the same direction as the CO. Thought I would take a break and started climbing some of the bigger rocks. Using the higher ground the GPS started saying a constant direction, so estimating where it was pointing me, restarted the look and the cache was found very quickly.

Just realised [18/1/2018] that I forgot to DNF here. I dashed up the track ridiculously close to nightfall and enjoyed acquainting myself with these awesome rocks. GPS repeatedly put me within a couple of metres but daylight had all but fled and lingering alone up here in shorts and t-shirt in August felt increasingly like folly. I shall return! Thanks Crisp image!
What a beautiful day to go for a walk and Mushroom Rocks was our destination. We had been here a couple weeks ago but one of our party felt ill so we had to turn back after 1/2 way. Today we not only got there but we decided to go up to top of Mt Erica. I am glad we made our find 1st because we were getting knackered by the time we were passing the rocks on the way down. We had an awesome time having an explore around but were getting a bit frustrated with the gps jumping around. When we finally found it the gps was only 5m out so not too bad. The hint served is well. All in all a great day. Tyftc
I teamed up with SuziBound for an Australia Day cache bush bash on the slopes of Mt Erica.
The GPSr's just did not want to settle here, after about 30 minutes of searching and wee bit of a hint we soon had the cache in hand.
The log was duly signed and cache replaced.
A favourite point given for bringing me to this great spot.

Scouter 101 and I spent quite a while searching every where around GZ that looked like it might hide a cache without success
Scouter 101 and I spent quite a while searching every where around GZ that looked like it might hide a cache without success
we camped up here a few weeks ago and had a real good look, no blackberry bushes but despite looking high and low we had no luck here
GeoMan found the rock, bushes and blackberries a bit daunting, but Gazelle Girl (aka Sixy2Sue), skipped through, over and under to eventually find the cache in this magic spot!
Would up the difficulty on this one as I had to let my more agile partner get to the cache. Found though and used the rubbish bag within to collect rubbish from around the area. Bit wierd how people travel to a pristine wilderness and then drop rubbish everywhere.
Came up the trail on a very cloudy day. The rocks looked quite ghostly in the mist.
Had a reasonable fix with the not-so-smart phone, but still had to cast around before spotting something familiar. No trackable in the cache though. A very peaceful spot. TFTC

Eventually got to 2 m away from GZ with GPS to an area described in the hint but it's overgrown with BlackBerry Maybe next time
This one for some reason took longer to find than it should have!
It's like a maze up there with the boulders in the way!
Climbed the top and got a great view!
Thank you!

AAWT find 3 snow on the ground and falling from the sky. On 5 week walk on the snow. Nice hide.
Found this old one.
This has been here a while.
Not as long as the geological formations.
Not as long as this area has attracted the tourists.
Not as long as the bananas have been around.
Not as long as satellites have been finding treasures
But a long time never the less.
And why not?
It is a wonderful place.
Hope Crisp image is still keen enough to read that their good work continues.
Love this game.

Have looked at this area for years to do some bushwalking - it took caching to get me here.
Have to give this one to gwd.aussie. he went left I went right.

We're camping at Rawson is our little reborn caravan and this afternoon we did a few caches during a visit to Lake Thomson.
This was number 5 of 5 for the day.
After completing Shroom, we pushed on to find this one.
I eventually found it after a rock scramble, as did one of my predecessors, and then I found the easy way out, emerging into a group of Mentone Grammar girls who had just set up camp for the night.
They were very surprised to see me, to say the least.
I eventually found Pam a few metres back down the track, wondering what had happened to me.
Thanks for placing this cache Crisp image

Been keen to get to this cache for a very long time. Have know about if for ages and with the ANZAC long weekend it was finally time. Enjoyed the hike in and then exploring the various "mushrooms" in the area and by luck I happen to approach from a direction which resulted in a rather quick find. Great spot for a cache and ideal weather today too. Thanks for bringing me here.

Epic Fail [xx(] batteries in the GPS died just before I reached GZ, and I had left the spares in the car. Will have to come back another day for this one.
Nice find after a bit of rock scrambling which wasn't really needed, but fun anyway.

We picked this cache up, at 1:26pm. Wow, what a climb and what a hunt. In the end -nirgal- made the find and the next challenge was for me and SirJ-Oz to find -nirgal-!! We both got there in the end by different routes and after nearly loosing bits of the log book to some stray wind, we signed the log and returned the cache to it's hiding place. Thanks for the cache Crisp image.
We had a massive day today, I got going from home at a bit after 8am with -nirgal-, we picked up SirJ-Oz soon after. Then 21 caches later, I returned home at 4:30am..... oh yes we visited Mt Baw Baw, Sale and Lakes Entrance in between.

Find #1181. Found @ 13:30 with LouiseAnn and -nirgal-.
We had a grand adventure planned for the day, which involved a mountain hike, kayaking to an island and walks on the sand.
While we were hiking on teh mountain, we came and got this one. It took us awhile to locate the right path to get to GZ. -nirgal- made the find while LouiseAnn and I were lost nearby. We made our way to GZ guided by the shouts of "found it". I was the last to arrive on scene and was very glad to find a much easier tack out.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Last weekend, a couple of fellow cachers and I had planned a short caching run. Two of us managed to put a small dent in our outstanding Jasmer months, but the dreaded lurgy had kept the third from joining us. Plans for a more ambitious weekend were hatched, however, concentrating on more obscure difficulty/terrain combinations. As SirJ-Oz had spent countless hours on some curly puzzles in Gippsland, LouiseAnn and I were happy to help out with transport, company and moral support.
21 smileys between 8am and 5 the next morning might not seem much, but today was a matter of "quality over quantity", and it was actually refreshing to have to exercise the discipline necessary to pass so many other hides without stopping. Those can wait for the next adventure. And it was quite an adventure... a hike to the highest altitude I've cached so far, kayaking in the middle of a country town, and a sunset stroll along the beach. Plus no shortage of laughs.
The search for a high-difficulty puzzle cache brought us close to GZ, so the chance to log a cache from a higher altitude than I ever had was too good to pass up.
The others went around one side of the rock while I went the other... with success at the end of the tunnel. Then came the challenge of guiding the others to the right spot so we could all sign the log. The blackberries nearby certainly made that task quite entertaining.
Well worth the hike up, for the cache and the view of these amazing geological formations. Thanks, Crisp image.

Very challenging to find, spend a good 30 minutes just finding my way around rocks.
Quite fun though!

After short walk up a long big Hill stumbled thru rocks prickly bushes with balukee atraversiamo and scouting friends found it
I seriously love this spot.
This is my 4th visit and still discovering new and enchanting elements to the awesome size of these things.
Convinced my scouting friends to come take a "quick" trip but all the storms over the last week has felled many large trees, making a walk into a clamber in lots of places.
still, love it

Well, I had been given approval for five days of annual leave, so I had to make a decision on what to do with it. I had noticed the Abandoned Railway series published late last year, so I decided to head towards Moondarra State park and then Mount Baw Baw for four or five days.
This was my second last cache of the day and by far my most favorite cache. I think this is what caching is all about.... Take someone to a place they have never been (Although in this case I Have), take them on a short to medium walk and as a bonus there would be a cache waiting for them at the end. A great area which I love to visit whenever I am in the area. Although, there is a small area near GZ that is starting to become over run by blackberries. The cache took a little while to find the right access point but it was found in the end.
Thanks to Crisp image for the cache A fav point from me. TNLN.

I found the cache whilst working (getting paid to teach bushwalking and navigation, what a life!), with the help of one of my students. Four days on the plateau, lots of snow and hard bushbashing, warm sun, no wind, only cold feet. Been here many times, love it! TFTC Crisp image, Cheers

Quick find before leaving on my second day of the AAWT. Yesterday my gps went a little nuts but was an easy find now.
The rocks around here are amazing. It is such a great place for a cache. Philipp made the quick find while I still tried to find my way into the area. Then we each took out own way out. It was not for another 100 meters till we caught up again. in the few minutes we where away from one another we could not see or hear each other. We could see how easy it would be to get lost around a place like this. However a GPS with a tracklog makes it soo easy to find your way. TFTC

Today covert and I teamed up to enjoy the good weather and grab some caches. So we signed the [s]rock[/s] log and kept on moving. By some strange coincidence we managed to get lost for 5 minutes but soon we got back on track towards the car park.

Didn't read the description before we left so found the walk was considerably longer than we expected but enjoyed it all the same. In fact after we found the cache Jen and I decided we'd continue to the top of Mt Erica since we'd come this far. That was a bit of a disappointment since the view's were obscured by the trees but at least we can say we've been there. A highlight of this trip was seeing a lyrebird doing a dance with his (or her), tail all spread out and singing an amazing song in the process. I've seen lyrebirds before but not like that and the song was incredible.
Thanks indeed Crisp Image.

Fantastic area to revisit after I was here about 40 years ago and again about 10 years ago.
Found at lunch on our 2nd day of a 2 day, out and back, pack walk, on our return from the Mt St Gwinear car park.
In case you are wondering, the authorities have cleared the track and left the debris along the track making accessing the cache rather difficult.
Sylvia had trouble with the GPSr giving a proper reading and was having difficulty locating the cache due to possible echos off the rocks, when Peter, without a GPSr or any idea of Geocaching, bought the cache back to the group during lunch. He had found it without much effort. Ahh... the wonders of modern technology, who needs it. Every time we do this we introduce someone new to geocaching.
Anyway, after much discussion and the signing of the log, the cache was returned to its hide and we went on our way.
Oh...and another thing, there were only 2 entries in the log book. Both appear to be muggles.
The tin lid is looking a tad rusty and the log was a bit damp.
Thanks for the cache and entertainment Crisp Image.

Wandered up from the car park with Mrs Biggles and eventually located the cache even though the GPS was going bonkers which was probably due to the towering rocks and trees interfering with it's satellite reception. I even climbed up onto 'the rock' and I'm sure that had I taken just one more step I would have ended up right on top of the cache, albeit in a somewhat untidy mess. Anyway after sliding back down again to terra firma, I found it after a bit of snuffling around the shrubbery.
Lovely location.

PS: Not gonna do any more caches up here today. An eye fillet steak on the hot rock plate with a beer or two at the Erica pub beckons.

Wow. This is some amazing location that I didn't know existed. Had a brisk walk up the path until we came to a lyrebird who wasn't too shy at all. We stood within two metres of him while he was determined to scratch in a clump of leaf litter, and he was well aware of our presence. Obviously there something quite special there that he wasn't going to leave for anything. The walk just got better until we heard loud voices ahead. The rock formations were incredible, with many interesting shapes. We arrived close to Mushroom rock to find 4 tents and a whole campsite sprawled across the track along with the noisy inhabitants. This hampered our search somewhat, so we dodged the camp and continued up the track about 100metres then checked the GPS. Drat, GZ was probably under the muggle camp. We then left the track and wandered around some rocks only to find more people and tents. Okay, back through the first camp we went then wandered under some precariously balanced rocks to find yet another tent. My this was going to be hard. Lucky we had the kids as we then thought, well we will look and marvel at every rock until GZ is found. Shortly afterwards we came up with the goods, without a muggle in the immediate vicinity. TNLN. This area is simply stunning EXCEPT for the numerous bundles of toilet paper left everywhere near the camps. What on earth are people thinking? Thanks heaps Crisp image for enticing us up here.
#277 Found at 11.05am. Firstly we couldn't believe how long it has been since this one was last found being that it is accessible by 2WD and it is such a beautiful walk to GZ and GZ itself is stunning!! GeoPrincess had already done the Mountain Monarchs walk this morning & she didn't complain too much when we told her we were going to do another . There were some great Alpine Walking Trail camp sites that we came across which were very protected. Took some time for the GPS to settle down enough to find GZ.

Found at noon as we passed by on our way up Mt Erica. Knowing how unreliable the GPS is around large rocks, the clues and intuition were used for a quick find. No swaps. Had passed this way a number of times unaware of the cache and thought that this place has to have a cache but then I discovered that Crisp Image had already placed one. Thanks to Crisp Image for the cache.
Had a look but ran out of time, i'll be back, next time I will take the kids (They wont give up untill they find it).I never get sick of visiting these beautiful formations........Brosnan
I love this place, it's such a magical spot to explore and get lost in. Have been here in the past at the start of my journey to Canberra along the Australian Alps Walking Track, and I was quite happy to return here.
Alas, Old Yella the eTrex wasn't too happy with the beautiful environment, and wasn't prepared to give me an accurate position. It took a considerable amount of time until the cache was spotted, after which the log was quickly signed at 8am.
Didn't have time to return to the nearby huts for a few photos, so I guess I have another reason to come back here. Maybe a winter assault is in order?
Retrieved the geocoin that was in the cache. Thanks Crisp image!

Found at 0930. Well.......what an amazing place this is......Like a naturalised 'Stonehenge'. I had never been to the Baw Baws before, and whilst it is a fair drive from Wodonga, it was worth every minute of it to stand and walk among these rocks. Loved the walk in. Had to search around a bit until the GPS settled, and even then it was only reading +-7m. A fantastic location in which I would love to return to one day.

Thanks.

1007 Note to further seekers - take a note of the photo and commit it to memory because the GPS doesn't want to communicate anywhere within 70 meters.
Note to hider - I'm very lucky I found it because I saved myself having to carry a large quantity of ice back to the car to drop into your nether regions. I didn't take the elephant because I didn't want to carry all that extra weight back with me. I was wishing I had trekked for this one two days earlier, I would have been a year younger and it would have been easier had I been younger.

Found at 2.15pm. I had spent some time up here many years ago and this was my reminiscing day. It is still a heart pumping walk and as I'm not getting any younger I passed on the climb to the top of the rocks that I did many years ago. Lucky the cache was an easy find and made the day worthwhile. TNLN Ta

FTF!!!!!
You may have heard of Gorilla's in the Mist well this was GEOCACHERS IN THE MIST! Arrived at the car park with the mountain shrouded in mist and the air quite cold, but there is nothing like a brisk invigorating cardio workout with the lure of a cache plus a FTF as well to get you moving. So off I set with GeoDad to find these atomic rocks, as we climbed up the mountain we cleared through the mist into a clear blue skied sunny day a real contrast. Arriving in the vicinity of GZ the sheer size of some of the massive boulders was amazing. Soon the cache was in hand opened it up and yippee I was the FTF. TNLN Thanks
