Took 3 of us to find it. Mind you we all looked over it a few times before we found it. Good hide
Found this one before I had my own user name, and it's taken me a while to get around to finding it again. Finally did it today!
We were about to get back into the car, when we noticed our puppy was rolling in something. It turned out to be someone's prawn shells, and we had to put up with an odour for a while, before it wore off.
Thanks Big Matt and Shell!

Another great little hide and nice spot. We now know to look out for these spots. A lovely way to remember our heroes.

TFTC. Nice quick find a bit hard to get out had to wait out a few muggles. Another one to cross of our list on our caching trip to Canberra.
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
Nice stop & stretch. Thanks Big Matt and Shell!

Quick driveby. Found this a couple of weeks ago and forgot to log online. Did sign logbook. The geokids found this one. Thanks.
Having found one spare battery in my kit (Little Red Riding Hood's had faded fast at our previous GZ) I was able to activate my navigator briefly enough to tell me this cache was exactly where I expected it to be - no! Wrong side of the road. Anyway it was what I was expecting so soon had log in hand, signed and returned to its hidey hole, despite the fact that when we arrived this location was spectacularly empty but in the space of just a few minutes 3 more vehicles arrived and people were wandering around everywhere. Were they waiting for us to disappear? Will never know as that was precisely what we did. TNLN SL TFTC Big Matt and Shell
Another quick grab on the way to Canberra.

Found on the way to Canberra this morning with Bad Jedi.
After a long drive these road side stops are great to Stop Revive and Cache After the pillow truck that was watching the gz walked over for an easy find.
Thanks for all the information about our heroes of war who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
TFTC Big Matt & Shell.

Quick pitstop whilst geohubster and I are on the road to canberra childfeee (excluding attached baby bump) for the weekend. TFTC
A big tip of the hat to Corporal Edmondson. What a hero. And what a nice way to enhance the memorial rest stop with a geocache. Thank you, Big Matt & Shell. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Quick find on way to Canberra from Southern Highlands and good time for tea break. TFTC.

[green]Due to not being able to get any accommodation in Canberra area we are staying in Goulburn and doing day trips with a visit to Questacon and the Mint today
On the way back we made a quick detour for a driving break 'RRS' to grab our daily cache.
This was a nice easy find and sign.(The way we like them, LOL!) TFTC
Thanks for the driver reviver, it probably saved our lives today. We chatted to some other travellers who were camping the night here and we saw some twitchers taking pics of something far away judging by the size if their camera lens, LOL!

GPSr was bouncing around, and around, and around, and around... Then we look down and oh! There it is! First to sign new log. Thanks!
New log book and bag for this cache today as Shell headed home from Canberra.
If you wanna lower your average speed, stop here. Great little hide while stretching the legs. Love the blown bulb someone left in the container. So typical for a highway cache. Thanks.
So if people have been leaving gaps the log book is not almost full then
Shell will be down in Canberra next weekend, I'll get her to check it out.

I was originally going on a free 4 day cruise from Sydney to Melbourne via Hobart for work, but it got cancelled at the last minute.
The flight to Sydney and from Melbourne had been bought so I changed plans and turned the break into a 5 day geocaching road trip.
I narrowed the zillion caches between the two cities by only concentrating on 'unusual' cache types, ( letterbox, wherigo, earthcache, virtuals and caches that would help me towards completing the Jasmer Challenge).
Day 2 of the road trip had me heading down the coast past Illawarra through on again / off again showers. Right down to Port Kembla in the sunshine Then over the range through cloud and pelting down rain. And finally along the highway to Canberra in the blazing sunshine.
By now I needed a loo break and a walk. And guess what???? A cache.
Thanks for the cache.

We cached this morning in dismal, drizzly weather and were hoping that it would have cleared by the time we got out of the "mapping the World" exhibition but unfortunately it had deteriorated so we decided that we would only chase caches that were only a short distance from the car.
This would have to be one of the most worthwhile cache series that we have done with very well placed caches away from muggle central and recognition for those who served above and beyond the call of duty to help make Australia what it is today.
Again this was as a nice easy find right where we expected it would be and once more after adding our name to the log we headed off to pay our respects to John Edmonson.
Thanks once more.
Lest we Forget.

I did some of the Remembrance Driveway caches by BM&S on my way to Sydney. I saw many other caches on my GPS display along the route. But the Remembrance Driveway series was placed where it was safe to Stop, Revive, Survive and Sign. Therefore I ended up five times at a cache of this series. TFTC BM&S!
Thanks - a quick one on holidays heading to Canberra

The wind really started to get strong while we were at this rest stop. But that didn't stop us looking for the cache & making an easy find.
RMS workers were pulled over here, painting 'Beware of Snakes' warnings on the paths. With Spring starting off so warm this year, that's probably a good reminder for cachers.
Thanks

Found with Rapidlywild on our way back to Canberra from a Goulburn and surrounds mega geomission
RW had found this one previously and as I hadn't, we pulled into the rest stop so I could have a go No help needed here as it was an easy find at a structure that I am now very familiar with thanks to her! SL, replaced and then jumped into the warm car to continue on our way.
Thanks, Big Matt and Shell

Trip back to Canberra with Binni, and finally we found a Remembrance cache in the dark! [:o)]
Easy find despite road workers at picnic area. As a teacher I was in Edmondson Zone for 28 years.
Found with Marzie_ after spending a few days in Canberra for a workshop. Thanks for the cache Big Matt and Shell!
Thanks for the cache - after dark when we arrived, but not too hard to find. TNLSSL. (FMB)
Found with snorris on our way to Canberra. This is a beautiful site. I recall learning of Lance Corporal Edmondson's story while at Kapooka .

A couple of caravans had settled in for the night but that didn't deter us from sneaking this one onto our found list.
Nice find on a beautiful morning. TFTC.

Found this one on the way home from a jaunt with a girlfriend to Sydney.
Never realisted that there were such places to stop

Got up early, and was headed Canberra way to visit a friend for a nice, relaxing Saturday night. What better way then to get a few caches along the way!
Again, another nice location, and great history.

Arrived here just as the afternoon light painted the lagoon area with a golden brush. Very Monet-like! Thanks
Found with mchylins on a trip to Canberra.
