Logs
After 10 years it is time for this cache to go as it goes missing quite regularly.
Highlights have included having a Naval Ship drop its gang plank over the cache (and a caching sailor making a find), the number of dolphins I've seen here whilst replacing a cache, seeing the new bridge get built and strangely getting a puncture on another cache replacement run here.
Cheers

For a 1D Star hide this one is damn good or i'm just simply blind lol Looked everywhere... even on the non-magnetic structure for an attached magnet, to no avail. With a tip on this one, i will return Worker Muggles paid no notice of me which was refreshing [^] I did find something else though... The "One and All" was berthed very nearby [^] TFT Challenge C4
Accidentally found this one back in 2009 (I think) while working on a vessel in the area.
Cool hiding spot.

First geocache I've ever found. I had only heard of them in folk lore from friends and acquaintances before this!
DNF. Day 32 of our SA holiday. March is over and here we are with April Fool's Day already and that means we are due to leave for home on Monday. Sad at the thought of it but looking forward to getting home.
With some rain this morning and grey skies we hopped in the geo-chariot and headed to the areas around Port Adelaide and Garden Island. This afternoon we got the bicycles out and headed out to gather up some more puzzles and traditionals. I seem to have finished the day with 25 smilies and 4 DNF's.
2nd DNF for the morning. What are we doing wrong? Discovered no magnet and no cache. Interesting area with the tugs lined up on the opposite side.

Day Thirty Two of our holiday - the first day of April, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.(But not for much longer!)
Today we just bummed around the Port collecting a few puzzles and some trads.
The morning was spent in the car, and the afternoon on the deadly treadlies.
We bypassed this cache the other day as lots of work was being done here.
Today it was a lot quieter, but no cache could we find. Found a likely spot for it, but there was no one home.
Thanks, Robmc.

All those times being muggled out finally paid off! Not only did Owl find the cache, but she also found the One and All. That gave her the chance of a close up view and also the perfect excuse to act suspiciously on the dock. Win, win!
Very quiet at GZ so it didn't take geomum long to find the cache.

Found while using car as shield from parked muggle. Have replaced squashed tin with new one. TFTC
It looks like the cache has been run over, but it is in a nice little protected spot so it it should be safe and dry at least for the present. Lovely to be close to some sailing vessels and a wonderful distraction from work. Thanks calumphing_four for the fun.
Container is mangled so that lid will not close and its not magnetic anymore The log looks worse for wear and I think has gotten wet in the past but dry enough to sign. Thanks calumphing four for bringing us to an interesting spot.
After a brunch of pie sauce from "The rolling Pin" bakery and a long stroll along Semaphore Beach decided that it was time for a few caches.
This was to be our last for the day but the caching gods had other ideas and rewarded us with a and gander at the "One and All"

Was really mashed. Had to pry it open but have done some reshaping so the logs should be accessible for the next cachers. Tftc
At last after many attempts we got a smiley, admittedly it had not been here on all our other attempts. Spotted by the Rat in the place we expexted it to be. TFTC
We have attempted this cache several times.
It would appear that the cache had been missing.
I am sure that the adder had looked there.
Maybe it was a boy's look.

Found today after grocery shopping. Really need to be careful looking for the cache.

After work and with a lot of time to spare, I decided to give it a try one more time, We were here before and leave with a sad face but no long time ago we saw that the cache was replaced so here I was one more time in my bicycle and yes cache was soon on hand !! Needed a bit of time, this is a great spot for muggles fishing. TFTFun and for take care about the cache
Oneday[?] Groundspeak will provide a better system so I don't need two logs to enable and remove the "Needs Maintenance" attribute.

Well that was a lot longer time at GZ than anticipated.
Had a cache ready to go, as I'd be in the are visiting the Port Adelaide Blood Bank. Found my original GZ, but couldn't find a magnet nor cache, so replaced both (please reattach the cache to the magnet, and not leave it sitting on the ground).
Then I heard hissing A huge piece of metal was sticking out of the geomobile's tyre with air rushing out
Managed to replace the tyre in 15 minutes flat, but probably not a great thing to have been doing after a donation at the blood bank.
Did get to enjoy a couple of tug boats go by, and finally I was on my way again. This is such a lovely spot
Enjoy

I noticed that this cache has unavailable since April 2014.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we cannot do so forever.
Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.
If there is a valid long term problem then a note on the cache will be required every 28 days to keep the listing inactive or it will be archived as an abandoned cache without further notice.

*late log*. geocaching this day with TK2, Miss Piggy (Babe), Moneydork and one other. We dedicated the day to caching and enjoyed the time with friends. This cache was on the to-do list. Thanks for hiding and giving us an excuse to go there and spend time with each other.
Moneydorks vehicle was great as a windbreak and for preventing prying eyes from fishing muggles. We had a look at the Princess Adelaide on the drive into this Dock, tftc
This cache has been attempted a number of times over the years but there's always been muggles sittin' on the dock, I haven't even worried about getting out of the car. For some reason GZ was devoid of muggles today and I did a quick find and sign.
Thanks for the cache C4.
Thanks for the cache C4.
There was a muggle parked very close to GZ so some stealth was in order. A quick look around and a find was made. Took it back to the car to sign the log, then replaced it in its proper position. TFTC
Christmas Adelaide 2013. Today was a full day spent caching with Team Seedsman out to Outer harbour and back to the North east ion the after noon. I visited a few spots I have seen before and plenty of new spots. I even found an old DNF I had been waiting to get for many years, but there are a few new ones. It took a few years and it was exactly where I expected, but it took a day with no one on the boat to find it. Thanks.

Would like to have seen the huge, now abandoned, cranes working. I assume this wharf would have been a very busy place in days gone by. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
Tftc! We think it is sticking to the gz now...

I had to waste a bit of time as a muggle rolled up in his vehicle (not a boat) and hang around a while. The cache container was loose and I couldn't find the magnetic bit to attach to, so it's still loose. Thanks calumphing four.
Quick find by Miley on a nice sunny day. Gave up on prev attempt due to cold, wet, windy late night. TFTC
After the Will it float event (GC4CBEH), I went caching for a short time with Mr Firesafe, Locus Cache, Honeysucker and Dennisc52.
I was not driving today, so actually got to GZ. lol Dennisc52 was the finder for this one.

Found in the company of locus_cache, Firesafe, Honeysucker and Knightyme after the Duct Tape Will it Float Event. Don't know why, but I went straight to it while the others searched nearby. And no need to worry about falling in - the marine rescue boat was parked across the way. TFTC.
Was nearby for the Duct Tape Challenge event and we continued grabbing caches in the area.
Quick find and sign. TFTC.

I picked up Dennisc52 and we headed for the Lets Test Does It Float - DTC #3 event.
By day's end I had found 11 smileys and no DNF's at all, thanks to the eagle eyes of Dennisc52 who managed to locus cache from metres away
What else do you do after an event but cache!
A 3 car convoy of firesafe, Knightyme, Honeysucker, Dennisc52 and myself set off to grab some more smileys.
Drove up to GZ and there was no sail boat moored here today, so we got out of the geovehicles and Dennisc52 started his run of very fast cache finds
This place looks so different by daylight without the fog that was floating around last time I was here.

It is not normal for me to be this close to water and not have my fishing rods, i think on this cold night caching is the better option as i will be back in the warm car between finds, its damn cold tonight. i guess i did what every one else did and checked the obvious to realise i need to expand the search a little bit. TFTC
I did try and get to this one, but took the wrong roads, twice, so moved on. Will try again when in the area ... and checked how to get too it. lol
Having to be at Netley for training for work for 2 days was a bonus for me as it meant I could stay in an area where I had lots of unfound caches and just cache, cache and cache!
Tonight I left Netley and headed to meet Laighside Legends at Glenelg and we were later joined by RideTheGeoWalrus.
We finally went our seperate ways about 2am and then I eventually arrived home about 5.30am, after 'just one more cache' turned into locus caching 36 smileys including a FTF at 3.46am
Hmmm, I finally get into here to snaffle this cache and there is a big sailing boat moored 'right there!' As well as a car on the wharfe at each end of the boat.
At 4.30am, I tried to surreptiously have a search but my torch is anything but surreptious
Had a very brief look but decided to leave before I awoke anyone and upset them.

For an easy find, this was not.......for us novices. Third visit, phew!! Good fun speaking to the security guard about why we were there at 3am comparing the particles in the tarmac..... I think we converted another muggle into a geocacher. TFTC.
Found on a nice Sunday while with mogni and blinky. Shame my car got taken away by a big red truck though. We grabbed this while it was there as I have been here before when the cache was MIA. I think it sometimes goes for a swim. TFTC.
With the blessing of the COs I replaced this one today. Its a magnetic mint tin with logbook, pencil and a couple of small swaps. Thanks Calumping Four for the hide!!!
Extensive hunt yielded nothing. On arriving home I checked with two previous finders that I was indeed in the right place. Will watch this with interest!
Weather was against us so should have spent more time looking, but didn't find it. No obvious structure where we were looking.
A DNF find us today but I was amused by a dolphin while Parislaura was chatting with the local workers. Hopefully next time we will have better luck. Not even the phone a friend option helped us today

Out caching today with Team Jacob, we spent a fair bit of time at this cache mostly because one of the port river dolphins was putting on a show for us.
I searched the structure where the cache should be, even laid on the ground and looked up but could not find the cache. I then phoned the Lioness who is a previous finder and she confirmed that I was searching the correct area, still unfortunately to no avail.
Ill call back to this spot another day and try again.

Morning tea on the wharf, watched a large boat dock assisted by a tug and gave a local security man something to think about as five people and two cars took over a patch of his dock. Morning tea was good so gave this a favourite. I grew up at wallaroo so watching boats was always a great pasttime. Thanks.
