I took this out for a brief look. When I went to put it back, there were too many muggles around and I was in a hurry.
Beat by my own cache! At least us owners have the privilage of being able to offline caches when it's too hard to re-hide them.

Part (Day 1) of a weekend caching blitz from Brissy to Murwillumbah and back via the Numinbah Valley with GreenGeckos and Mischievous Maverick!
6 pairs of eyes searched, six came up wanting.. Now we see why!!
Between the download the night before, and when we went, it was out for maintenance!! I am pretty sure where it will be in the future..

After visiting the amazing kite festival we stopped for a quick find. Great spot. TFTC
And back into QLD for our last cache on our weekend away around the QLD/NSW border. Great views from the vantage spot. We werent alone with a muggle we assume looking for whales, and a cute elderly couple having a picnic at the nearby table. With all muggles distracted, we found this one relatively quickly. Extraction of the cache took some time, but we managed to poke it out with our pen. After driving below the sculpture, we had originally thought it was a vulture of condor, but turns out we were wrong. TFTC, awesome spot
Decided to make our way slowly back to the airport and this one was on the way. Lovely views back to the Surfers from here. No problems finding the cache (once muggles moved away from GZ). Popular spot today. TFTC
Thought this one would be undercover so decided to grab it while the rain was keeping the muggles away, found easily, took the NZ 5c coin and left a butterfly bookmark TFTC; fantastic spot to watch paradise (in both directions).
Dropped mother Aslan* at the shops to take a walk to the beach, great day and great cache - TFTH
Spotted this one with Aussie Liahona today. Lovely afternoon for caching and we made the most of it.. Love the big eagle overlooking the sand below. Thanks for the cache, and the locationless GCA caches I collected at the same time.
We were not the first to visit this cache today. Found without difficulty. Retrieving it needed some help. Good thing we had a pen with us as that became more useful than we had expected. Great views from here! What a nice little picnic spot! We've lived here for 30 years and this was our first time up to this spot. Thanks for bringing us here with a cache to find.

Our second find today. Lovely lookout wonderful views. Found with jimmy-jimbob1234 and pinkhannah10. Took coin on journey northwards for a view of a different coast.
Great view but steep walk as couldn't get to carpark. Easy find. Left pathtag from Victoria for new adventure. TFTC
We were up early and got here before sun up and almost got muggled out.
First there was the man who just wandered out from the shelter as we were getting our torches out. And then a 4WD turns up. Why is it so hard to cache in peace.
Anyway, once they had all gone it didn't take too long to spot the cache.
We took a long look at the pretty lights before heading off.

Found the cache after a trip to OOL then off to the headlands for some whale watching with GoodLooker and Geodog. A lot of whales around which diverted the attention of the muggles at this look out. Have been here many time before but hadn't checked if there were any caches. Easy find and a great spot. SL, TNLN.
Well love the veiw always come up here looking around we couldnt fine it the other day to many people up here the day it over cast noone up so i thought i might try it again and there it was some one was sitting over it last time we were here lol TFTC
Found it during heavy rain on our way south to Byron Bay. The log looks nice but is, as the other mentioned before, completely full. Added my name somewhere ...

Found this one today while visiting Cooly. I love the view from the Eagle. Nice spot. TFTC! I see why this one is offline though that scroll is very full.
Visiting from Melbourne.
It is always busy up here but a great spot for a BBQ.
Dislodged a little gecko while trying to retrieve the cache.

We have eaten fish and chips here many times and as we're new to geocaching we hadn't realised there was a cache here. Great view. Log is full, but we signed the side. TFTC
Found on Nov. 18 with out too much difficulty - nice walk from our Kirra lodging. Need new log paper!! TFTC
Final find during a quick trip to the coast. Hot day, hard walk, but once the muggles had gone i quickly had this little beauty in hand. The log of this one desperately needs replacing. TNLN TFTC
Great location and lots to see
No trackables in cache
Logbook very very full!

I chose a bleak wet and windy morning to grab this one as it had always been over run by muggles whenever I passed. At 6AM this morning I had it all to myself!
A quick find...the log needs another extention, so if you are next to find, you might want to bring a small roll that will fit in a film container.
Great spot! TFC

Never made it up here during my childhood years of holidaying in the district. It was fun extracting the cache while the muggles were variously engaged in phone conversations and surveying the view! TFTC CaleD.
Fouund at 12.20pm GAFF1. It was such a pleasure to come back to where we used to holiday 20 years ago. This looout was not there - just a big eagle. The beach has changed so much as well - never used to be that wide.
Thanks CaleD

Enjoying a vist to the area to visit friends and find a few cache's.
Great view of Gold Coast but could'nt see the Super GP cars?!
Found easily after muggles had left.

Great place to come to, down below must be one of the most favourite places to surf in Ozz--Kirra, Greenmount, Snapper rocks & Burleigh heads just up the road.
When the conditions are right the "Superbank" kicks in & you can surf from the point on the far right (Snapper) right thru past this place here into the bay at Kirra--a distance of about 1km! In fact the ride was so long that surfers were complaing that there legs were so tired that they could hardly stand up & the walk back, also brought on a huge rash between their legs due to the wet salty board shorts rubbing against their thighs, some guys were forced to take off their shorts and run back with their modesty preserved by hiding behind their boards. This led to a market in special "rashy" underware to illeviate the distress.
Ask the locals, they will tell you its true!
Anyway, lotsa people here, had to be a bit sneeky in doing the bizzo!
Thanks for getting us here, great place, nice hide as well.

Muggle count was perhaps a little lower than some days. Beaches look great. There has been burn off activity infront of lookout (intentional or not?) and so smoke is a bit whiffy at picnic tables. Tool of choice for this was the arm on sunglasses. That scroll is soooo long. SL. TFTC
Left home (in Sydney) at 10:30pm on the 1st. Arrived here in Coolangatte around 9:30am on the second, and my muggle Hubby very kindly suggested I grab my first cache for the day, telling me he looked over my shoulder while I was having a browse and he thinks that "thats where one is". After around half an hour of sleepily stumbling round, having not gathered co-ords or hints, we amazingly spotted it!!! Well hidden, and I'm sure the drunken man with the brown paper bag thought we had been sharing in his chosen tipple from our staggering and mumbling. Welcome to Queensland, and thanks for the cache!!!
Top view but will be better when its not above the desert.
Took a little while to find but worth the wait. TFTC

The last of the CaleD Coolangatta Caches on our “to do†list.
The trouble with being a local is you tend to forget about some of the spectacular views from such a top spot. Thanks for the ‘reminder’ to stop occasionally and just enjoy the view.
TFTC too.

Found at 10.42am after Ken on the Tom Tom led us astray. We had a bit of an uphill walk to the cache. That impressed the geowife for the 1st cache of the day
Found easily in the end. We enjoyed the views till the muggles left then retrieved the cache.
SL
Thx CaleD the the cache.

Almost gave up on this one as shelter was occupied by workmen/muggles. Luckily they were only there for lunch so when they left geogran found cache easily. Logged visit but log almost full. Beautiful scenery again. TFTC
After a failed attempt while on our 2008 holiday it was very releiving to find the Cache this year. Thanks for giving me another excuse to take in the fantastic views.
13/7/09 @1230 but I think I signed the log as 15th! I'm on holiday! AND had just had major dental work on a wisdom tooth. So I was a little hazy. Went right to it as there were no muggles at all today. TFTC

This was cache # 9 of 13 for the day, caching around the Tweed coast, the cache was found at 1300. after my frustration at the last cache this one was a pleasant change, I had to wait for some Muggles to move on but that did not matter as I was enjoying the great views on offer here, there were plenty of surfers out there trying to catch a wave. My thanks to CaleD for the cache and bringing me to this great location.
had come here on the sunday night but couldnt obtain it as some of the locals were up there having a drink, l walked past it and saw it but couldnt risk getting it.

Ah now that's more like it! A great view, precious few muggles and a cache where I expected it to be! I didn't expect Tweed Heads to have so many great lookouts! Thanks CaleD!
Took the grandkids for their first cacheing experience, boy did they come in handy used them to block the view of people to get the cache unnoticed. L micro coin TS micro coin TFTC
Another find whilst on holidays from Adelaide. CaleD must have been everywhere on this strip of coast! Wife found it at 1.45pm. We have a few friends who are Poles, so it was easy for us to locate. She still has the stick as part of her new geocaching toolkit! Thanks CaleD.
Tried to grab this one while waiting to pickup relative from airport. Unfortunately there was a steady steam of muggles coming from nearby "Wintersun" Festival, so had no chance to have a proper look. Did see Elvis though! Will have to come back with Mrs Grundies for a bit of cover.
This look is great, sat there for ages looking over the surf.
I had to use the hint on this one

Visiting all the lookouts here today on a nice walk. We were sure to bring our own pen
Had a bit of a delay doing this one due to muggles in area. But came back after visiting Tweeds Head and all was clear. Easy find when muggle free. TFTC TNLN SL. Beautiful views along the coast and saw the sunset over the hills.
Arrived at the spot in the early afternoon to find lots of muggles having lunch and even two up to no good in the bushes!! So decided to return later at sunset which turned out to be a blessing! Beautiful. Easy find. TFTC. Found with G4CXQ.
Beautiful morning and great view at the beaches around - the water was so clear I wished I can jump there from the top . Found quickly with millu, thanks!
A large Chinese extended family were having their extended picnic BBQ and had totally taken over the whole area. Gear everywhere and about 20 people. No chance of getting anywhere near the spots I had spied out. Went and did Need a map and came back but the people were still there!!!!! Grrr. Will be easy next time I am up the coast.
Found ay 5:15 pm.
A few muggles but they didnt seem to notice.
Great hiding place.
Cache still in great condition.

Quick grab between the waves of muggles. We'd tried for this one before but didn't bother getting out of the car as there was a big party happening at GZ. So today we were pleased to knock this one off the list. TFTC
Couldnt find it cos too many muggles around here.
Come back next time
Beautiful up here.
Eagle is protecting us.
Thanks

What a great view of the area - Thanks Cale....(have been here B4caching) so was partly familiar with the area
Found with Ally-Searching (geodaughter) on Saturday AM (while enjoying a weekend @ Kirra) - but muggle central all day..
What a popular picnic spot
Returned early AM Sunday the 8th to extract cache & sign - relatively muggle free then
Great views and a wonderful sentinal overlooking the cache (eagle)

Found quite easily but retrieval and replacement was quite difficult as a party was going on roundabout. The geopencil helped retrieval as our short fingers could not reach easily, and a bit of a skirmish allowed replacement. TFTC, SL, TNLN
My first find in Qld. By coincidence we could see the location from our balcony at holiday accomodation.
A well concealed cache. Well done caleD. TFTC.
