Assisted Jimp59 in hiding this one, but since he gets the credit for the hide, i'll take the credit for the find.
0900 we arrive at the cache site......The cave is smaller than Dox Caves as was pointed out to me several times by Jimp59 ~sniker~ but it was really cool to explore......I grabbed the cache and sign the log....We will return to explore these a little more before we leave the island.... Thanks again to you Jimp59 and Jebest for taking the time to bring me here even though you already grabbed these caches. It's good to have great friends willing to do that for you......0945 hrs we were back at our vehicles going to pick up a few more caches.

Yet another cool cave. Although the hike was anything but cool (temp.-wise). Loved it!
We took a couple hours this morning and decided we had better hike to get the 3 caches in this area. It was a wises decision as it was nice and dry the whole journey. The trail is well marked. This is a very interesting hike with lots of different fauna anld flora along the way. This was a fun cave to walk through. I am hoping for another chance to come explore some between Dogdox cave and this one. There must be some more caves around here. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC TNLN SL
Oh darn - I forgot to bring my own 9-iron. But I did bring Jimp59, Blygoat and Dawgdoc1. So - which is worse - searching for a cache with muggles all around or searching with only 3 people around, but one is the cache owner and the other 2 have already found it?
I like the nice little bench seat built into this one.

This was indeed a well rounded caching adventure. About 150 yards into the jungle, I found a $200 Mizuno 9 iron that some disgruntled golfer flung over the fence. We found a couple dozen wayward golf balls too. Jimp59 and I took turns playing "difficult lies" along the river bed. Let's just say it was a good thing that we were not playing for money!
We went over the river and through the woods, and came upon Jimp59's cave many many mosquitos later. I swallowed one, and decided that I really prefer chicken!
On the way back, we discovered yet another cave that really was cache deficient. What could we do but place one there, and name it Dox Cave. A few hundred yards later, we found an especially lonely Ifit Tree. We just had to place a cache there as well.(Jimp59's Ifit Tree) Now you can get three caches on the same trail! Be sure to bring your own 9 iron too just in case!

I took the Marlocats and Jebest to the cave today and although it was a bit humid this morning, we still had a fun adventure. The river is still pretty low but was somewhat higher than 2 weeks ago. We crossed the river in calf high water following the trail markers I had set previously and we didn't have too. We should have went down a little further and crossed where there was no water. Other than that, the hike was enjoyable. I took some pictures of our group by the Ifit trees, cave and on the dry river bed. On the way back, we met my son cjpinaula with cpp77 and tiana98 heading towards the cave. Later on, I husked and opened a coconut for mrs marlocat and jebest to try. I'm sure they enjoyed it. After completing the hike with jebest and the marlocats, I went back and met up with my son and neices and finished the hiked with them. What a great time.
Wow! The cave was awesome! I loved all the trees all around if you know what i mean! I enjoyed the walk up and down the river bed. It was nice and shady and made it a whole lot easier. TFTC
Marlo Cats and I had a great hike thanks to jimp59.
The wading in the water added to the experience. GTA's Trio cellphone does not float and is not water proof. Thanks to cpp77's daughter for finding the dead telephone. GTA was more then happy to provide me with a new cellphone on Monday. We enjoyed fresh coconut and coconut water at the end of the hike and learned a lot about Ifit trees. If anyone wants a physical challenge there is about 15 or 20 feet of the wood waiting for someone to carry it out. Took George's Piranha geocoin. Left Cache Movers Geocoin. TFTC.

Found this cave as Mrs. Blygoat aka Wandahfoh now. I forgot to log this wonderful cache experience and Blygoat reminded me to do so. Grateful to Taddong and family for allowing us to go through (shortcut) their property to the sight. What a good time curtz311, taddong, blygoat and I had walking together and talking about random things...mostly about the history of the area. Thanks for the experience and fun. TFTC
We had been planning this trip for about a week now with Taddong. We had noticed on Google Earth that there seemed to be a shorter way to get to this cave and had Taddong plot the coordinates on his topographical map. This allowed us to have a better feel for how the terrain would be if we took this shorter route. Then we found out that his wifes family owns the land in the area and he was able to receive permission for us to go on this journey.
Mrs. Blygoat, Curtz311, Taddong and I drove down a paved road to within 2/10 of a mile from the cache. Then we began our hike by hacking through about 25 feet of sword grass and came upon an old gravel road. This led us to an animal/hunters trail. We followed this for a short while and came upon a dried up stream. We followed that, and the hunters flags down to the river and found that we were about 60 feet from the cache! We passed by a huge ifit tree on the way down. We found the huge ammo can with a little searching as our GPS's were bouncing around under the tree coverage.
All in all, it took us less than 1/2 an hour to get to the cache using this route, and we didn't even get wet. Although we had our machetes with us, the trail required only minimal clearing on the way down. Found the cache, explored the cave (even crawled all the way inside-used my flashlight and some of the light sticks in the cache), went upstream to look around, got to see lots of shrimp, a few eels and fish in the stream.
Then, we hiked back up the way we came in. Completed the entire trek including the exploring in less than an hour and a half! I would recommend taking this route if you don't feel like going along the river. It wasn't that bad but is not recommended for smaller children. You will need to contact Taddong to get permission from his relatives to cross their land but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
We also found out that there are actually three caves in the area but we couldn't find the other two in a reasonable amount of time. One was used as a Church during WWII, another as a hospital, and one was supposed to have ancient drawings in it. We didn't know which one was Jimp59's Cave but we didn't see the old alter or the drawings in this cave. All in all, it was a very rewarding hike. Muchos thanks to Taddong for arranging passage for us! TFTC-SL
