I have spoken to a previous finder about this and I was looking in the right place. As the owner has not responded to calls for maintennance, can this one please be put to sleep?
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
Had another look for this one and appears not to be there. Could the owner look into this or archive it please?
No luck for this black duck.. understood what was going on and hunted. then widened search area greatly and hunted again. Nada - not even a sausage. TFTH.
On holiday in Coolangatta for a few days to escape the rain in NZ! We were up early and were very surprised at the number of people who were out at 5.30am!! We found WP1 ok but searched for at least 30 mins for the cache - looking in every hidey hole we could see. Maybe we will have more luck another day. Thanks anyway CaleD
Followed direction and looked in the wrong hidey holes until one gave up its secret.

Final cache of 10 on a lovely Gold Coast Monday, out caching with Aussie Liahona. So many beautiful places on southern Gold Coast. I live up north and rarely venture down here. That's why geocaching is so good - it takes you everywhere. No need for swaps in this one. Left it as instructed. So many people will pass or walk over this spot and never guess the treasure beneath their feel! Feels good to finally collect a few Cale D caches after 12 months caching.
Unfortunately there are not too much multis in australia, that`s why we were really glad to do this multi cache, thanks a lot for the multi!!!
Found this one without the GPSr. We were staying nearby so walked past early in the day and walked the line. Unfortuantely at GZ, there were some people barely standing up, so we kept walking. Just before dark we returned and found the cache after a quick search.

My very first cache!!!
Friend told me about geocaching yesterday and I went searching for what caches were hiddne near my home.
Very nice....
Did not have a pen to sign the log though.

This is one of our favourite areas to go for a weekend wander. We decided to take a detour today from our usual track which skirts the beach and go find this cache.
After finding the starting point we headed off to find the cache. After looking in a couple of wrong spots I expanded the search and spotted an obvious hiding spot.
TFTC CaleD. I signed the new log and left a smiley face badge.

Cant find. Found what looks like, from all the clues, where is was. May need to be checked by owner.
Thanks for a great location.
Thanks for a great location.
A record day of did not finds for us today. Found a likely spot but no cache. Even thought there was camouflage but nothing under it.
Found at 12.25pm -took a while to locate - stuck my finger in a hole in one particular rock only to find there was a lizard in there yike!!!! TFTC.

Took a while to locate the right rock, but spotted it in the end! Thanks for the cache. We didn't have a pen on us so couldn't sign the actual log - if you want us to email you and say exactly where we found it to confirm we did, then we'll be happy to

Wondered if we would manage this one today being a multi. But this was good. We queried the number of steps it takes, but as a general guide without being too literal, it works fine. Not too many muggles about today. A couple sitting on a nearby bench were admiring the view and not paying us any attention. Was able to sit on the rock and retrieve the cache with no-one the wiser. Did a bit of a better job of a camo hide on the cache. It was a while since it'd been visited and the camo was looking disturbed. Probably by those jolly bush turkeys. What are they doing here anyway? Not much bush here. Thanks for the cache CaleD. TNLNSL.
Lovely walk through a not so secluded area. Hint was very good.
Replaced cache with care and covered it up.

Nice view from, I don't think I've been up here in a about 30 years. Good thing we read the description well as my GPSr would have initially had us heading down to the beach for WP1. TFTC TNLN
Found after a short walk. Nearly got attacked by bush turkeys. Saw dolphins swimming... great place for a picnic.
I really liked the location of this one and the way the cache was constructed. It took me a little while to find the cache but I retraced my steps and found it shortly after. This was the first time I've seen the local bush turkeys and it seemed there was some sort of territorial dispute being had.
Many thanks,

with the four of us, it was a quick find once the direction was clear.
Thanks for hiding!
Thanks for hiding!
I'm thinking the hint refers to metres rather than steps ... if so, right on! Lovely breeze, lots of sun, and happy sounds wafting up from the beach today. Enjoyed my morning tea in the classic picnic shelter. TFTC CaleD.
Took my muggle sister-in-law along for the ride today, and she pipped me to the post by grabbing this one for me!!! TNLN, but some lovely views and photos for my QLD holiday.
The imaginary line was good. We walked until a good caching hole came into view. Nice hide. Spen most of the afternoon at Rainbow Beach. Water perfect. Thanks.
Tagging along with The Gatherers who really enjoyed their visit and were very excited when they found their very first cache thank you
we found it after a lot of looking we took spongebob and left pink froggy our first find yay TFTC
Our 3rd cach find for our first day ever caching. Our Geokids think we are modern day pirates and are in love with the hunt. Cach was hidden well and made the find even richer. Left a firey tattoo took the frog. Great hiding spot, great location.

Found after some searching. Plenty of curious beady eyes watching by the many local feathered inhabitants. Another wonderful lookout. TFTC
This was cache # 10 of 13 for the day, caching around the Tweed coast, the cache was found at 1310. This cache was at another great location that I enjoyed very much, not sure if it was the views or the amount of young bush turkeys that were in the area, that made it so enjoyable. The turkeys are a novelty to us Victorians. I had no trouble with the line or finding the cache. My thanks to CaleD for the cache.
Found @ 12:01pm
Another location with great views (from the WP at least!). Good idea - cache was in second spot I looked. TFTC!

another great lookout, we found this one with little trouble but still took a peep at the hint.

Found while on the GC for a course. After the storms last week it was overcast so the views were not that good. The waves were big but muddy looking. Go Titans for another win yesterday. TNLN TFTC
A whole heap of "neglected to logs"!
This was a lot of fun, and between the three of us, it didn't take long to come up with the appropriate line.
Thanks!

Second of CaleD's caches we found 2day,
Again an imaginitive hide requiring some thought outside of the box.
Cunning but still easy enough to keep Ally-Searching (the 7YO geodaughter) interested.
Thanks again for an interesting cache we enjoyed the challenge..

Cute cache, for our legs a little more than the recommended number of steps. TFTC, SL, TNLN
As this was the first cache of the day while geohusband was working in tweed I was determined not to be beaten. After being dropped off at the opposite end of the bay and walking to the site I found this one easily enough although muggles were a little troublesome.
Another very clever hide by caleD. Good use of the obelisk direction finder. The owner must have a much larger step than us. However not to be beaten on our fourth find for the day we ventured a little further to locate GZ. Good one caleD.
A lovely stroll along the beach and headland.

I suppose you could call it maintenance. Moved this one to a new spot but it is not far from the old one (perhaps a metre). I tryed to get the lat and long for it but the GPS ran out of batteries.

Wow! A nice view I agree. When we arrived, a muggle wedding photo shoot was taking place. We worked out which direction we were going in and walked to the spot. But alas someone (or the recent rain) had moved the cache and it was lying on the ground a few metres from GZ.
We moved it to a new location (or perhaps the old) and it is now ready for the next cacher.

NIce cool day and rain kept the muggles away. Tried this one a week ago but couldn't get a car park. Always been a favourite spot with great views. TFTC.
We stopped off not only to look for the cache but to also check out a reference in a local history book Mr Petan has been reading, alluding to the thought that the shelter shed had been one of a number of accommodation sheds in the area for naval personnel on R&R in WW11.
Examination of the shed was inconclusive but we did find the cache. [:-)] As others have said ... CaleD you must have a very long stride. TFTC.

How long are your legs CaleD?!!! Not sure where it should be hidden as I found it lying on the ground. Has been rehidden but may not be original. Thanks again CaleD.
Continued our walk around the area to here. There was some discussion as to exactly where the imaginary line was. In the end we each followed our own lines (which weren't really that far apart). Mrs DisSister spotted the cache slightly exposed along her line. Lovely views again from here.

A busy day today - we just missed the wedding at Waypoint 1 by 5 minutes but that still meant we had lots of onlookers (and very pretty seats to sit on as we eyed our lines). We 3 must've looked strange poking our noses in trees, rocks and seats! We tried to be as inconspicuous as possible, I'm sure they just thought we were strange... Thanks CaleD
We've swum at the beach for years. Enjoyed the great view from the top. Good walk for Granny, who found the cache (her second ever find), while kids played on the beach. But it must have been a giant who measured those steps! Joined the younger set in the water again afterwards. TFTC
Dragging my not-very-willing companion along, this was the first of the three I found today on a quick overnight sojourn down the Coast for pre-Christmas relaxation. TFTC. ='.'=
Wow what big steps you have.
Had to watch out for muggle reading the paper on a nearby bench.

All 4 of THENANKS had a great day out caching with our good friends the MadMyers. I think Mrs Mad has said it all in the log below.
Found with theNanks on a geocaching expedition together. What great views and a great spot. Thanks for the cache. Another beautiful Queensland day spent caching with great friends. What could be better??
Found @ 0720 with 3 yo geodaughter. Surf was up this morning and the waves were filled with surfers. Great views of Snapper Point from here.

Just a short break away - full of visits to beautiful parks and amazing lookouts thanks once again to geocaching! TFTC.
When we reached the coordinates, we realised we had virtually walked over the top of the cache to get there! Back down and found the cache very exposed, so replaced it much further in and covered it. TFTC

Found on our way home from Brunswick Heads after a weeks holiday.
After a string of DNFs I was starting the think that I would not find anymore caches today, but where better to look for a pot of gold then the end of a rainbow!! there it was a beautiful cache my hopes have been restored.
Of course it started to rain while searching for this cache, but managed to get he log signed and cache back in its hiding spot without it or I getting too wet.

Found this after a day at the Tweed Public School Centenary 16th Aug. @1730. We stayed just a few metres away from the cache and I could see the site from my balcony so I just had to do it. Sneaky little spot and hide.
