Too much leguminosae, as others mention. Such a big plant family but still only 3rd in size to Orchids and Asters.
Found while exploring the area. Yes a lot of gorse !!!! Had a few scratches by the time we finishedanything for a cache LOL. Thanks for the hide in a very cool spot to travel to.TFTC
Had a bit of a look after signing the challenge caches on Joeys Island but too much gorse.
Wow, this was hard to find but worth it in the end; TFTC. This is a lovely area (away from the gorse). Couldn’t find the cache on the other side of the bay though.
Well, some barging was required here. First, the gates are locked, but easily stepped over. Second, one needs to barge through some serious vegetation to get to the cache nowadays. Although I thing it has never been a T1 hide, not it is a full blown adventure getting there thanks to the gorse. Plus the GPS had me down the ditch at one point also... I managed to see some concrete blocks near the white pole and decided to investigate closer. Going slightly around got me there with reduced gorse exposure, and yay! there is was! Then it was just a matter of growing a longer arm and finally finding a way out. TFTC!!
Spent a while here searching...twice - going to Tiwai then on my way back past. PAF and still no luck. Found lots of prickles though!
Doing some newer caches round Bluff, and tidying up some others. Found with Greg. Cheers
It may be that my GPS was well off the Mark because I couldn’t find a single hiding spot
10th cache found tricky little sucker, my navigation was a bit off you DONT need to go into the very prickly gorse for this one like I did OUCH DOH, a few trinkets and a dry log ️ rock bug was added to the cache

a quick trip out Tiwai way with Granville my chauffeur to grab a couple of caches. Cache contained water as many had logged. Nice to see it's still going since placing in 2008 tftc
Not a popular one looking at logs. Not sure why, great view of smelter and all those people working
Out this afternoon between appointments to try to get the last 10 finds needed for Mythical Creatures World Turtle. Suddenly with no data so that's not going to help with navigation.
Cache found once on the correct side of the road. 1 down, 9 to go.
Thanks for the smilie Greyway.

**On safari - tracking down hidden creature trophy heads to hang in the hunting lodge gallery.***Paying a visit to freshen some lonely caches. For an 10 year old logbook it's coping with the conditions and being kept well bagged. Keep the goods bagged, it's a 10 yr old cache ho hum.*___Found 14 Oct 15 A quick find to lift the spirits on a windy day attempting the bay caches. You can still see the old barges in the other carpark that is used to store hay bales. The bridge was in the middle of it's renovations and was finished it's maintenance shortly afterwards. For a 40 yr old bridge, she's still being held together. TFTC Greyway
Glad we stopped for this one early in the day as there was a bike race with the finish line at GZ a bit later.
last official day of xmas holidays. So why not come for a visit down this way . Haven't been here for ages.

Signed log, TFTC Greyway.

In Invercargill for a few days visiting my brother. Quick find on a cold afternoon. Thanks Greyway for the cache.
Really nice and warm weather drove us out for some caches. Quick found, few utes full of people arrived just I had re-hid the cache. TFTC.
Been over this bridge a few times, and sometimes at night the lights from Bluff and the point put on a good show. Found the old box in punky hide and after checking over some of the swag, I SL. All ok in here, just doesn't get many visits to air out the goods. Could see the barges are still over the back in the truck park and the bridge has had a recent face-lift. She is over 45 years old now, wrinkles already. TFTC Greyway.
*Wish I could get to West Arm to find the rest, but it looks like the little one at Deep cove is in trouble.*

SearchWisely quickly found while I was waiting for phone to refresh. Another windy day. Never been down this way, considering I have lived in Invers for nearly 20 years. Thanks for the drive.
Found on a wet day with Mr Potty and Mumander. Quick find despite erratic GPS on iPhone.
Lucky I’m not afraid of spiders as a few have made it home. Its ok I moved the spiders to more comfortable location. TFTC!
A quick easy find once in the right spot, right where we had thought it would be initially but GPS was telling us it was further in as the batteries were going flat. TFTC
Wandered around a bit, think my GPS was moving around a bit much. Took a lot longer to find than it should, be success - hurrah. TFTC
Bumming around in my rental car on a really hot day - and I thought "I've always wanted to go there".... Thanks for placing the cache & giving me even more incentive.
Oh my giddy aunt it was windy out here!!! Nice hidden place for a cache
Found it while on a GC Hunt with amatheson and matheson.clan. Left a marble behind TFTC

I found this over a year ago but it didn't take the log. Was a quick find. They were working the the bridge at the time. It must be finished by now.
[I was looking in the wrong place for quite a while] you don't need to go past the gate
