Logs
After searching at GZ and not finding the cache I sat down and read the description. Oh I see this cache is on notice to be archived due lack of maintenance. Now on logging this report I see that it has been archived since I got my last PQ.
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Dear reviewers
Will this one be archived soon? Please save the Southern cachers from a wild Foxy hunt!!

I looked high and low for this one - probably spent about 20 mins pouring over the location and the logs for clues for where it might be. Still nothing. Would love to see the Cache owner check in on the cache just to make sure it is still there, as I fear people will choose not to look for this cache because of so many DNFs.
I had a quick look around, but my GPS was all over the place all the same. No idea where to look or what to look for, so who knows if I was looking in the right place.
We first stopped near by to look at the very impressive catholic church which was locked and then saw there was a cache near by. Had an interesting talk to Belgium tourist who had come to the church also so we directed them to the presbytery to get the key then went and checked out this cache. Unfortunately we thought it should be we did not discover it and we generally have pretty good caching sense. Found two spoons obviously ex drug users tools and plenty of broken glass. If you are a local it might be a good idea to ring the Council and let them know. Lovely little park so thanks for bringing us across the railway line even though we did not find.
Found it co-ords are a little bit out but some lateral thinking helps too find it
found this one easy enough, the lid was half off the container so things were a little damp. it seemed a bit of an odd cache, unusual name and location but maybe i'm the odd one ?
Time for a new cache. Workers were clearing the site today and working in the gardens. Took a long time to find this one, because it not been at the gz.
Cache has no lid that I could find - the log will not survive long. Coords are inaccurate and there is no description to aid hunters. Owner has not been active since november 2008 and has not responded to any calls for maintenence. There have been two previous calls for this cache to archived.
Loved the park, so close to city but not fully aware of it before.
Found cache after short search but not where expected it to be. TFTC.

Well named - it had me "foxed" for quite a while. When I, finally, did what others have done before me and looked as a "hider" rather than a "seeker" it was findable.

FOUND IT AT LAST!!! Found with "It's TURNER time!"
Was very surprised to find that I could see part of the cache container from the path, even though it was well concealed - great cache spot! Surprisingly easy to find once I thought like a hider! Signed log. TFTC

Nice gardens, lots of ducks in the creek, they must know what time of year it is
Thanks Bitsprayer

Finally found it on the third visit! This seemed like a difficult one but I'm still a n00b at this though
We looked for an hour but no luck. Gps was accurate to 4 meters, we looked at a radius much greater. Is it still there?
DNF
Out foxed by this one…. Is it still there? Saw evidence of previous searching.

I'm logging this one late. With 2 DNF after me, and with the next find 2 months later, I'm guessing this cache went for a walk.
Couldn't find it - searched for half an hour... GPS was jumping around, and the only likely place didn't seem to have anything hidden...
Found while out with Krispy Bacon and Ingil Kiwis. Krispy Bacon made the find in a spot we had already looked. Obviously the oldies need to get their eyes checked. Great spot.
A minimal cache lisitng for a minimal cache. Found it in the end. As per the maintenance log the container wasn't in a flash state. TFTC.
Went here today to discover the cache container has a broken lid and the log sheet is soaked.
Found this cache second time around after we left it a few days ago scratching our heads. It helps when you trust your GPS! We would have filled in the log but the container has been broken, probably by it's surroundings and was quite wet. I don't think this container will last much longer without a remedy. Great spot though [^].
Not an easy find, but w got there in the end, then spent ages trying to figure out the sun dial!
We took quite a while to find this cache despite the co-ordinates being very accurate.

Nice easy find, although there are a multitude of hiding places available. Thanks.Greyway
It was cold and rainy this day in Invercargill and i couldn't find the only cache in the city .
But anyway we had a great time in NZ.
Greetings from germany, Joachim

Well this was foxy for us. In the end we realised that you do not need to go off the path to retrieve the cache. A slight stretch and there it is!
Thanks Jacqueline and Peter #2200

Found this cache whilst out for an afternoon stroll with KiwiGary (who was more excited than we were to be here!)

Unable to locate cache like others before me. Maybe the owner could log a note with regards to this cache.
Maintenance teams have been busy
Foxy has been removed, and lair dismantled
Will be rehoused in next day or two

The owner has only found one cache and hidden one cache. Can a local cacher help the owner and explain the cache maintenance philosophy?
[Nice gardens but] shame about the "prophylactics" broken glass and glue containers.
This has been a busy cache the last few days! Bitterly cold still, but the garden looked stunning in the clear light. TFTC
Was out searching with Annie and PB now have my own log in. Local knowlwdge is helpful.
A chilly start to our day. Little Sis's cachÃng instinct is developing well as she spotted where this would be quickly, but we didn't look quite far enough on the first time, and found it on the second search.

GPS a bit out. This cache took a while to find. When looking for this cache it is not hidden in greenery. I mention this as there is some damage to plants around the cache area that look like people have been searching through the garden. TFTC NINO
1600hrs: Found easily enough, looks like kids had been at it and pulled out the pencil & papers and filled the little container up with gravel. Log-in papers were close by and dry so it's all fixed and rehidden with a bit of leaf litter.

On a fantastic Autumn day in Southland, we found this easy cache in a gorgeous wee park! We were wondering if it had been put back in the correct place as it wasn't quite on the GZ mark and was just sitting on ground. Put it in a better hiding place.
Took a while to find the cache, nice hide! Lots of evidence of muggle activity in the immediate vacinity, but all in all a lovely little garden. Thanks.
A fine Saturday afternoon, took a while to find though, but got there in the finish. TFTC.
Introducing youngest grandson to geocaching{8 year old}and took us a lot of searching to find cache.TFTC
Good hide! Bit of care needed to replace it correctly and suggest others take careful note as they retrieve it.
Nice gardens, many thanks.
