I came from the top, not Samford Rd, so my T rating was a bit higher. I feared roadworks may v obliterated it, but no, a quick find & T4TC:-)
Rolled up here and realised I had already been here before and signed it but hadn't logged it. Made it a fast visit and now making sure it gets logged.TFTC
Taking an alternate route home from work, a quick find to collect this attribute for a May challenge. Cache is wet but able to be written on. TFTC
Out for a drive this morning before we change pace, get pretty and go to a baby shower.
Find number #6 for the morning. This was total find #1093 for me!
There was an obvious geotrail on arrival at the GZ. Spotted and signed.

All that finished and now time to find caches on my must do list so a few friends headed off for more Smilies. Quickly found at GZ. Signed log and replaced as found.

After a morning adventure in Brian Burke Reserve, we pulled over here to look for this one that has been on our to-do list for quite some time.

After an interesting morning in the Reserve and a well deserved break we headed out to collect some smiles. This smile also gave us another smile. Thanks for keeping the cache active.
We needed to return to pick up the clue.

An Event brings us to Brian Burt Reserve, so time to cache in the area.
After a rather long, raucous morning tea break in the Village with 6 of us, we are heading back home, Geocaching on the way . Easy parking spot and found in the obvious spot
Log signed at 1.18 pm and cache replaced as found on June 24, 2023. TFTC, Zaphod Beeblebrox

totalube I found your cache Qualactin Hypermint extract on 30/5/2023, 3:05 pm. This is my find 5466 and find # 10 today. A quick and easy find with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Quick pick up on my way home from Samford. Not stumped for very long. Cache is in good order. TFTC.
After the hiking event at Brian Burke Reserve, I made my way slowly home finding caches along the way. This was my final one. Collected the needed information. Tftc
Quick and easy find on a relatively busy road, just before dusk on this lovely Saturday. TFTC
Today, I joined Beardman75, GurTheWanderer, and karicka, as we targeted a few high terrain geocaches hiking up Mount Kobble followed by Mount Samson. We returned back to Samford for a bakery lunch, when a few of us spent the early afternoon walking around Samford completing the *Samford Village Heritage Tour* Wherigo, and a few other caches in the vicinity. A hot and humid day for the morning, but at least the rain held off for it to turn out to be a nice spring day.
On my way home from my day out, I thought I would make a final detour ro a small cluster of geocaches, including this one. Since this cache only involved a side pulling out point and was on the side of the road, then I was happy to try to grab another ingredient for my *Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster* cocktail. Upon taking the short walk to GZ, I found the cache in a common hiding spot as per the hint. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to use the spoon for though. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I grabbed the clue to note down for the future. Thanks Zaphod Beeblebrox aka. totalube for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Some silly sod has stolen the silver spoon and switched it for a substandard semi-soluble sparsec spirit simulator.
But the jokes on them, as once qualactin hypermint has been slowly dribbled over a silver spoon, it infuses into said spoon rendering it toxic to those that use it to stir their tea.
At least we can take comfort in that.
Thanks captain for reminding me to reorder some more of that hypermint stuff, I've a dinner party on next week.

Smallwombat, Domsky and I were in this beautiful area collecting some target caches including old caches.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Zaphod Beeblebrox. Info noted.

We arrived at GZ, and noted that we all needed to take a teaspoonful of the required Elixer, in order to get our eyes in search of this one. With the task done we noted some important information and have added our names to the logbook.

Found it, was a bit concerned about the no trespassing sign right nearby though
Came close to face planting in the ditch when I flew across the road on my bike but somehow stayed upright. Quick ride by find. TFTC
Today I ventured out towards Samford and surrounds to grab myself a bunch of old caches and a wide variety of other caches to. It was an action packed day with plenty of highs and lows, literally. I climbed mountains, walked along creeks and did a tonne of bush bashing. It was an epic adventurous day and I had a blast!
In total I managed 28 finds and 1 DNF.
A quick find in between traffic after parking the car within a few metres of GZ.

Had planned for a walk up a mountain today but my body did not agree with my plains.
Was not going to stay home, a car trip withing 50km of home was planned instead.
A theme for one of my all-time favourite books, home to be able to finish this series some time.
All is well with this cache.
Thank you for hiding

Meandering my way South in the early hours of the morning, hoping to pick a few caches along the way to Ipswich then head East to try for some mystieries laying fallow out there

Tracks from The Beatles The White Album (including 'Helter Skelter), were played in the courtroom at the Sharon Tate murder trial to find out if any songs could have influenced Charles Manson and his followers to commit murder. Actress Sharon Tate who was married to film director Roman Polanski, was eight and a half months pregnant when she was murdered in her home, along with four others, by followers of Charles Manson.

Found in the obvious spot. For a Sunday there were heaps of cars zooting by, but no way to act inconspicuous in a laybye. Quick park and grab and we were out of there.
This is another series where I think we must have found nearly all the clues, but just need to find them and put everything in place. I think I’ve got all the clues written down in an old shoe box with my tax receipts and winning lotto tickets. My accountant seems to always find the receipts but never any winning tickets. I haven’t seen him since he brought his new chalet in France recently anyway.
There must be a way where I can amass all the cache clues I have collected and then sort them alphabetically into unwieldy and heavy books. Then I can employ a fleet of traveling salesman to sell them to families with young kids at school to study. I have even invented a cool wine-inspired name for the business: Encyclopedia Idiotica. This internet fad for education won’t last.
My wife and I pulled up and caught the surveillance warning which annoyed me because I hadn’t applied any makeup this morning. Thankfully it was a quick find and then the clue was written down on the back of a napkin and thrown in the back seat. tftc

Out nice and early today, trying to grab a few more in the Catweazle series to finally break the code. This was the cache number 5 for the day in that area...
Parked close and walked in. There was a council truck sitting in the parking bay closeby. I wander what they thought I was up to... Well, wouldn't be the first time I have been called by the police over geocaching travels.
Log and container dry and now has my squiggle in it too.
Thanks for bringing me to this one!

Heading from Ipswich to Deception Bay we just had to do one cache and this one is it. Every thing SL TFTC
Last one for the day with some buddies. I now have all the ingredients except an olive... and unfortunately have not been clever enough to figure out how to get one. Maybe I'll have a bolt of inspiration some day?
I was trying to find my way to Map Monkey's Lament but I was sure where or even if there was a turn-off. I pulled off the road here to have a look on my phone and noticed that there was a cache right here. So, I jumped out of the car and made a quick grab. It's hard to be stealthy here with a steady stream of cars driving past. I noted the clue for the final. I have collected a couple of these before and I'm sure that one day I will have all of them. Then I will have to track down the final.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

A nice quick find hastily returned as the cache guardians became angry at being disturbed

I would have liked this to be find number 42 for the day, for obvious reasons, but it was number 9, like in the Beatles song. All good here; I signed the log, collected the cocktail ingredient, then grabbed my towel and headed down the road for some more caches. Thanks, Zaphod.
After a very slow Saturday recovering from a huge Friday night work function (where the Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters had a little too much Qualactin Hypermint extract), this morning I was faced with two choices - household chores or caching. Not much of a decision - the lawn remains long, the car is unwashed and I can turn those undies inside out next week .
My primary aim today was to clear some of the huge pile of solved unfound Qld puzzles I have. This cache is needed for my next Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, so on the way past I stopped. So did the boys in blue, who pulled over a speeding hypertransport right in the parking area. Cache was found and the magic formulae was recorded.
Many thanks, Zaphod.

Out here to grab a couple of quick smilies before meeting the CO for a few more adventures today. A quick find with cars zooming past. So that's what a Hypermint Extractor looks like. Made sure to grab the clue, then dashed off quick to grab some more caches in the little time I had before my catch up down the road.
Thanks for the cache totalube.

It was a looooonnnnng walk to this one and when I arrived the cache was basically roadside! I can't say I have ever seen a cache like this before
Finally out and about today to attend an event and thought I may as well grab a couple of quick caches as well on the way and luckily two that I picked up this morning were part of the series I was solving. Dropped of a PT for the next visitor.
I have driven past this spot so many times, but always in a hurry. So today on our way to a nearby tennis centre we finally managed to stop.
Hiding spot was obvious from where we parked so it was a quick grab for geodaughter. Cache in excellent condition and next ingredient obtained using the supplied measuring device. Log signed and all replaced.

Our second ingredient found today. We enjoyed the container and I am now educated about the origin of the concept (thanks Mrs Wombles). There is obviously a gap in this sci-fi geek's education; better fix that Tftc totalube, looking forward to finding the rest of the series
