An easy find on a windy and warm Sunday afternoon! The flies are out in force There is some deterioration as to the container, and it might pay to pay a visit and remediate A couple of small holes and just general deterioration. TFTC
I actually popped back and Ive enclosed the log in a plastic bag, to ensure longevity.
TFTCOut with geo hubby Animal62 collecting as many caches as possible to fill our maps with smiley faces. Thanks for the opportunity to add this one.
TFTC nice find out and about with geo wife LynSteNet on a Saturday afternoon collecting smileys for the map
Hitting Yorke Peninsula once again, Cheezel1961, Weredunn4 and myself, looking to knock off more of the Gone Fishing Series. As well as caches of interest we stumble across. Maintenance being performed on any that needs it.Banter, Dad jokes and ribbing occurring in abundance on our trips away. This trip was no exception.TFTC SL
The 3 Stooges are hitting Yorkes Peninsula again, WayneAPN, weredunn4 and myself, looking to knock off more of the Gone Fishing Series.Any other caches of interest will be tackled along the way too of course I had to check this out Friday night, but its been 13 months since we last tackled this series as a grouptoo long Our trips away are always a bundle of fun, ranging from abundant dad jokes, banter, hatching plans of future trips, crap being thrown around about weredunn4s 2 minute loo (I mean poo) stops , baked bean talk and the list goes onSuffice to say, these are always great trips away All caches found and stamped. Any caches needing maintenance, we did our best to restore them to good health whether that be an additional log or new container. Thanks to all the COs for the caches we found this weekend, without you we dont have this game TFTC
Today out and about on 90 of 100 days of consecutive days caching with a minimum of physical one a day. Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cache.TFTC
Found on our day trip to Curramulka from Yorketown - a nice walk on a cold day! TFTC
A very pleasant day caching around Curramulka and surrounds. A little sunshine for a change, no rain and calm conditions. Lots of fresh new growth in the paddocks
A delightful little park here. Many thanks for the hide

A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Thanks emerston for this cache. I went for a quick wander into this park, and found the cache proximity. I leant down to peer into a crack and was greeted with the left foreleg of a large reptile. He didnt move, I did. I looked around for 30 seconds with no luck and wondered if it was a perfect replica cache container. I lobbed a small pebble in the direction of the lizard and it moved slightly. Nup, thats legitimate, keep looking. Ah here it is. Cache found in good condition. Thanks for bringing me here.
Starting our tour of SA peninsulas on the Yorke doing the gone fishing trail. Have the advantage of following Team Liz and Bruce, Wollaston and Seasoned Bird who found them all and repaired, thanks guys. Then WA then back to Cairns June 2022. 29 October 2021 3:03 pm Tyfc emerston total caches now 3149 had a good search definitely missing so replaced it.
Another Wednesday wander for a few of the befuddled animals. The target was once more the tedious Gone Fishn series taking relief with this and others scattered around the area for which we were thankful. TFTC
The container does need replacing.

Another rainy day in the Barossa, so we looked at the weather map for guidance.
Suprisingly the Yorke Peninsula showed as showers clearing... which turned out to mean sunny sky and great walks on beaches! A few more smileys down here. So many more to come back for.
Caching with Sebastbat and Jack.
A quick walk into the park by torchlight and the cache was promptly located.
thanks for another fun cache emerston
2020 - the year of the flat caching curve!
Keep washing your hands. Exercise.
Support the regions by placing more caches ( esp around the Barossa [:o)] )
Day 263 (Monday 18th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Maitland today. A total of 15 for the day and 5525 for the trip. TFTC
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children.
We left our camp in Warooka and moved on to Curramulka (via Minlaton), we have to keep moving and find some caches, if we are reach #5000 at Millicent. Today we are doing the guided tour of Curramulka
Nice walk to find this one. Not too hot today. Thanks emerston.

Lovely day for caching...Easter Monday holidaying in Minlaton. Thought we would catch a few caches with Messy61. Tried our hand at fishing with no luck, caching much more lucrative. TFTC.
Once more we set off to explore the Yorke Peninsula and grab as many caches as we can on our way. The weather gods have let us down a bit today, lots of short sharp showers interspersed with times where the sun is fighting its way thru the clouds. We have come to love this area in the weeks we have been here, and shake our heads at the times we have just driven straight past on our way to somewhere else. What a waste!
A short walk, a quick look and we found it.

Visiting SA for a week before going to Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs. Out with joojoo57 and Snickersallan doing caches on Yorke Peninsula then back towards Adelaide. Thanks to all COs for your cache hides.
Before attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs we're spending 5 days in SA mainly around the Yorke Peninsular. Appreciated the variety of containers and places they were hidden - it certainly brought us to places we certainly wouldn't have stopped at. many thanks to all the COs for your time and effort in the placement of your caches.
After two days of geoart we are having a sightseeing and caching run around the middle section of Yorke Peninsular.

Out sightseeing around all the small towns in the area and decided to pick up a few caches along the way. Thanks CO for the good hide and TFTC
It is lovely that these trails have been created for us to enjoy and observe.
First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

Travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular. Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.

Day 2 of our trip and today's plan is to head along the west side of the peninsula, once again the weather was perfect, its great to be back on the Yorke peninsula again and what was suppose to be a overnight stay ended up being a 2 nights and 3 days stay on the Yorke peninsula, we managed to find quite a few while here and on our third day we had to head back earlier than planned after car issues, the weather was very pleasant while here and we look forward to returning back here to keep finding more caches, we thank all the COs for placing these caches for us to find and making our visit very enjoyable. After Sorceysal and I finished the fish series in 2 1/2 days, we decided to head to Maitland and beyond to grab a few more caches in a more relaxed day, without the haste. Tess the geodog also enjoyed the heaps of walks today, and the great variety of hides.
This was an easy find after the short walk in, thanks again RGGs

So.... I am visiting Adelaide for work on Monday, as normal brisal5 and I decide to attempt some geocaches.... we were going to find some geoart but oops we got distracted along the way finding a huge variety of other geocaches instead. Not as many numbers but lots more fun. thank you to all the cache owners for putting out so many great caches on the Yorke Penninsula. Apologies for the generic logs but my notes were useless, and my memory also not so good.
Plan A: A weekend to YP with mogni to do some geo-art caching. Of course we just had to stop and break the drive. Okay..time to go to Plan B. Cache till lunch, then go and start the geo-art and finish it in the morning. Managed to do a Freddo here. It was in the last place I looked which was also fortunately the first place I looked. Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets.
