Accio 10:34:42Down to Melbourne to escort my mum to hospital - giving me significant free time for a couple of days. What to do? LGA hunting my primary goal, I came here as part of a very big loop around the outside of metropolitan Melbourne. I spent a lot of time searching for this one. I had a few thoughts on the hide - all of which would have been excellent int heir own right. But were not correct. And without giving away the game I can't explain how it was found, but it was done as I was giving up. My coffee was getting cold despite the heat of the day. The "WHAT THE ACTUAL F$%?" moment would have made a good video had it been captured. That is awesome. And not so radically different to the style of hide my brother in law does in England - but I never twigged on till it was literally in my hand. So well done and a must FP.Thanks Team Ladava for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12919}*
Always enjoyable finding a Team Ladava cache and this one was no exception. Thanks for the cache.
So we started out on the right side of the fence, saw how many logs were on the wrong side so switched over, only to find it on the side we began on
Skylizard and I made an early start today to participate in the Great Victorian Cache Crawl. This was our first cache of the day. After a short search, Skylizard made the find. Very creative- loved it. A favourite from me. TFTC
We were in Sunbury for The Great Victorian Cache Crawl and made out way out to Emu Bottom, Victorias Oldest Homestead To find this highly favourited cache. After searching for some time on the wrong side of the fence in the rain we saw out error. As soon as I made my way to the other side I saw what had to be the cache and a nicely constructed one at that. Thanks Team Ladava for the cache.
Fantastic hide! My 6 and 8 year old kids found this one and are very proud! Thank you
Yay finally found it on 2nd visit on first visit was looking the wrong side of the fence i found it will the help of the comments very clever hide
**Victorias Oldest Homestead**Out this way today exploring historic Sunbury and surrounds. Geohubby and I didnt grow up in Melbourne, therefore no school excursions to Victorias Oldest Homestead, ie Emu Bottom. I think school kids would snicker endlessly at that name, but moving forward we did wander around the grounds after making the devilish find. I used the old what looks right, but is out of place tactic. Obviously my strategy worked and we were soon signing the log before any muggles wondered what we were doing. Thanks Team Ladava for an enjoyable find. FP coming your way! Popped down after working at home today to grab a cache for my calendar. Typical Team Ladava effort gone into this one. Noice! TNLN. TFTC
Looked on both sides of the fence and didn't find anything.A description of what we're looking for would be of help or a hint.
Ok this was hard but we put all the clues in the log from peoples posts together and finally found it. Definitely a creative hide!
I love it! I'm meant to be focussing on .multis today, but with so many FPs, I couldn't miss out. Great hide, but as others say, the coords are misleading.
This one definitely deserves a favourite point.Finished work early so took the scenic route home, and finally picked up another geocache... it's been a hot minute.Figured that it would be on this side of the fence, and I was right. The other logs talking about it being obvious are right. I managed to find it surprisingly quickly but it could have taken a while.Tftc
We couldnt find it but were wondering if ANYONE could give us some clues or pictures of it?!
I had been out here pre caching and once since caching so was surprised to find that I hadn't found this one. Not sure how I missed it. Such a shame that the homestead wasn't open by the time we got here but just means we will have to come back as I loved having a look around on my last visit although it was only brief. Thank you for bringing us here with the placing of this great cache and thank you for maintaining it for so long.
We should have been on our way home by now but there is always time for one more, especially if it in totally the opposite direction. Unfortunately, by the time we got out here, the homestead was closed. GT37 had been previously. We will have to make sure we are here with plenty of time on our next visit. This was a great cache that took a longer to find than it should have considering we noticed it as soon as we arrived. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
AusFox and I decided to meet up and cache the area to collect a bunch of Adlabs, trads and multis. The temperature was sitting at a nice 35 degrees but that didn't stop us... Just slowed us down a little :pNow this is a solid hide!! Blends in pretty well. My GPS had me on the other side of the fence but lucky AusFox knows what he is doing. A FP coming your way. I would never have known this homestead existed if it wasn't for this cache Thanks for placing for us all to enjoy A wise man once said "Do whatever sprinkles your Donut"
Well this cache was a mystery for us back in 21 when we DNFd it and today it was nearly another one. We searched for awhile before resorting to a PAF. It was only then we realised we were on the wrong side of the fence. Once our greedy hands were on the cache we let out a sigh of relief and a big DOH!Thanks Team Ladava for the sneaky placement.
The previous day Donutholes notified me that he had a day free. So we made plans the following day to grab a few caches around Sunbury.Who knew it was going to be 36, but it added to the days caching entertainment. This one had us fooled for a minute until spotting the obvious.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache Team Ladava #7,765
I remember coming here for a picnic with my Mum a few times when I was young. She was a bit of a local history buff and would do some research while I got to explore the farm and buildings. Thanks for bringing those memories back and thanks also for a lovely hide. I must admit that after searching for a while I eventually found it by accident.I lucked out with the weather for this trip. I arrived just after the last of the heavy rain and although some clouds threatened it remained dry for the rest of the day, albeit quite muggy. The same could not be said for the ground which was soaking wet with water flowing everywhere, gravel and soil washed over tracks and roads, and everything else washed clean and fresh.Victorias Oldest Homestead is find number 3,295 for me. A great small traditional cache I enjoyed finding as part of a caching outing to the Riddells Creek, Gisborne and Sunbury area. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. I am logging this one on Wednesday 27 Dec 2023 but I actually found it yesterday. Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Team Ladava.Found with Geooh GO
Wow... the homestead looks magical. Cache was quickly located today as I must have my caching hat on. Clever hide and adding a FP. Tftc
Great Cache as I have come to expect from Team Ladava. Thanks for another banger!
Signed TRC. I have a day to myself, so I was planning to finish the Woodlands Park 100, but the gates were locked. So I decided to spend the day a little up the road caching in Sunbury. I travelled to the cache via the Jacksons Creek paths, and the hike was worth it. Such a cool camo
after looking for a while and not getting anywhere we decided to give up and try another day
Enjoyed this one. There were no muggles on Sunday afternoon, which made the extraction easy.
Winter solstice has passed and we are on the way to longer days!
Challenges galore to meet today; wheel of challenges and winter solstice.
Wow, I had no idea that the oldest place in Victoria would be here. and a second, third and fourth wow wow wow, about the clever hide.
fortunately spiffy- noticed something that was out of place, as it was an incredibly well conceived cache.
thanks for the placement Team Ladava and location and hide

Today we headed to Sunbury since it was the last day that we could find the 21 caches for the solstice souvenir plus I would also be able to complete my 20 days this month for the out and about hard souvenir. Also as a bonus this was my last day of the year to complete finding a multi of all 365 days of the year and with a few multis out this way I didn't want to have to wait another whole year so that's why we chose this area for our adventure today. We found some really awesome caches too in the few hours we were here and only had one giant rain storm for about 10 minutes and that was it.
This was one of those nicely constructed caches. A favourite from me.
Thanks Team Ladava for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

What a great hide, and at such a wonderful place. Thanks for bringing us here Team Ladava.
I was doing an adventure lab around Sunbury when I noticed that I was very close to a cache. This one is brilliant and had me walking around in circles for a while before the penny dropped. Great stuff.
The Whittlesea Mega has been on and off for a long time due to that rotten COVID-19. The sad part is that due to MND I really think this could be my last Mega but I am in the area for a week thanks to my two great SA friends who travelled from SA visiting Ballarat for a couple of days and then moved down to Geelong only to pick me up and we are staying in Craigieburn for a week and then they are taking me back to Geelong. It’s generosity like that Geocaching folk are renowned for, plus all the help that I have received in the past few days and weeks which I will be forever grateful.
This guy was found, signed last November 2022 with my two SA friends who were looking after the ageing Bushfire.
Thanks for placing and looking after this cache. I am slowly getting a few more of these caches logged but for how long I really don't know depends on the body.
The good news is that my MND while progressing a little slower than it could so I am working on going to the Rutherglen Mega. Time will tell, thanks to Team Larava for placing this cache.
Another F.P. to add to your growing list. It is what ths team is known for, well done.

What a wonderful design. Had to widen my search at first but saw something a little out of place and bingo. Congratulations on a great cache hide.
Whittlesea Event trip. Day 9. Caching today with bushfire and brisal5.
A very well hidden cache.
I found your D2.0/T1.5 Small Traditional called Victoria’s Oldest Homestead at 16:04 on 22 November 2022. It was find #16446 for me. Thank you Team Ladava for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 9: We went to Sunbury for the afternoon
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. We made a detour via Geelong and picked up Bushfire. It had been three years since we last all cached together. [^] Today we set out for Sunbury for the afternoon with a pub meal at the local pub. Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
Very, very clever hide which of course gets a favourite point. Saying more might give it away. Dropped in a TB.
***Thanks Team Ladava for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Found it! Such a clever hide, a cute sheep baa’d at as when we were looking around!
I’ve signed the logbook and placed back as found.

Nice quick find for us today! Started in the wrong spot as GPS just wouldn't settle, we stood to try and let it catch up and as we did I noticed something slightly off. Wewt! Very well hidden!

I finally found the thing after spending 2 hours out in the rain. This is a very devious hiding strategy.
Interesting about oldest homestead here.
Clever hide
Thanks for bring me here and cache.

Great hiding spot - exactly what was said earlier - something out of place gave it away
What a great cache! Enjoyed the variety today
Dropped off a trackable for its next adventure.

Excellent hide! We looked in all the wrong places first. Fp added. Visiting from Sydney. Tftc
Spending the day caching with AlexiKatty trying to stay on target for my milestone for the Wangaratta mega in January. It's a nice day and beautiful to be out hear again. Very happy to add this smile to my map.

Navigation is a touch off on this one - use your instincts - clever hide thank u creators!
My second visit to this location and this time I ignored the numbers and used a logical approach and walked straight to the cache Maybe I should do that more often

With our gameboard now extended to include regional Vic, RoamingHowie and I decided to go explore the Sunbury & Riddells Creek area.
Very clever hide that we kinda stumbled on by accident.
We then ventured over to check out the homestead. An ace venue for a function!
A fav point for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Team Ladava

Out and about with 80 degrees returning to complete this area and its not so windy and cold this time. Boy how it has developed. Love these pieces of history we have here and glad to see they are being kept. This one had me at the wrong GZ to start with but got there eventually. Just love your level of hides Team Ladava. It gets fav from me
Now that travel restrictions have been lifted it is time to venture out into the countryside again. Out and about targeting some caches and adventure labs that have been on the list for a while.
This was a clever hide. We went to GZ and initially couldn’t find anything, however on widening our search circle we came across something that didn’t quite fit in. A lovely homestead to explore nearby too. A great piece of history.
Thanks Team Ladava for the cache.
