Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Had a good look around here... No ammo tin in sight. This does not appear to be where a previous finder said it was. Maybe a check up needed here?
Found almost out in the open. Or at least could be seen while standing on a well used path. Though I'm sure knowing that it is there helps one see it Now hidden well. Not climbing this mountain at the moment, due to certain indigenous superstitions but certainly have done in the past, many times. Cache is ok, albeit a tad damp. Unavoidable in this weather. TFTC. TNLN.

Checked out several likely spots but couldn't find it. Also had to be careful of muggles. Will have to try again sometime.
Didn't find at first as we think other cachers had it. Tried again after the climb and found it in the obvious spot covered in typical geocache camoflauge of leaves and broken twigs. Would be much more rewarding if it was at the top of the climb! Hard work but great views. Wouldn't climb if wet. Daughter's 17th b'day took crayons as present. Thanks! Left Aussie Koala.
12:00 (found with ywurry): Certainly a lazy cache, but it did require a lot of patience waiting to retrieve and then return the GZ due to a very large amount of muggle activity! Mission successful though.
TNLNSL TFTC!
P.S. Sorry for late log. Have been tied up renovating and farming.

How typical of us! We come to such a popular spot on a Sunday morning when the rain has finally cleared off! So we were able to locate it but not retrieve it.... that took 25mins of patience - waiting in/around the car for our friends that will never turn up... Pounce, grab, sign and.. darn it!! another 15mins to safely return to GZ..

ps: sorry for late log… been out of the inter-webs range for a while…

It was a lazy find, just about in the carpark. Covered as best I could, but it is very vulnerable. Thanks
Found cache exposed and partly open. Concealed cache again as best we could so it was not exposed and obvious. Then up the mountain for the other two caches.

Had lunch here in the carpark since we had to wait for some muggles to leave.
TNLN Thanks.
TNLN Thanks.
Managed to park the car nearby and have a lunch break while waiting for the muggles to hit the road . Found while on holidays with corikra. T: keyring L: radio TFTC
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 12:30pm. It was a short walk to the cache and an easy find. There seems to be a new parking area nearby; at least newly bitumened. TFTC
Quick find during our cache raid of the Sunshine Coast. The kiwis were finding it hot and keen for fast finds and then back to the air conditioned car T4TC.
Its not that we are lazy, just not enough time to try anything more strenous. We did climb My Ngungun yesterday.

At 10:30pm, it was just as well this cache was designed for lazy cachers. I was pretty much ready for bed by the time I was signing the logbook. TN/LN.
We didn't just do this because we where lazy, at around 10.00pm it was a touch dark. But I'll be back in daylight for the other nearby one. TFTC.
4:00pm on a warmish afternoon and there was no way I was heading up that hill again [:o]
Plenty of others had endured the heat judging by the number of cars in the carpark.
I was thus relieved to see in the cache notes that this was not a multi or puzzle cache
So I had a lazy poke around for the cache mere metres from the airconditioned geomobile

Nice easy find. Didn't climb today. Think I will save that for a winter activity. Have climbed Mount Coolum before and there is a great view. TFTC
Our 1st mission, the boys had a blast!!!
Upon locating the base target, we swapped and upgraded a few of the contents
We are now planning an attack on the Mount, and beyond.

Found by TiedyeSmileys on our Adelaide, NSW & QLD trip away.
Was wondering whether or not we should change out of our crocs into our hiking shoes for this one. Decided not to, then had to psyche ourselves up for the 3m hike. No muggles about, so a quick dash off to the cache then back to the car.
After glasshouse mountain caches, we really appreciated this one

Too many muggles to search on our way up Mt Coolum but 2 hours and 2 caches later we were back at the carpark again. This time there was a large group of walkers milling around but fortunately they soon headed off to the summit so we quickly headed in for the find. Very easy as it was completely uncovered so after signing the log we found some more material to cover it up. TFTC
We thanked our lucky stars that this was at the base of the mountain which was invisible today due to the dust. The kids had the cache in hand quickly.

Searched in the dark only to find the cache somewhere rather obvious. How did I miss that 5 minutes earlier. TFTC.
It was a beaut day & a busy Sunday - lots of muggles.

With 2 tired young children in tow we decided to be lazy and so we quickly found the cache then continued home. Kids took a Spiderman magnet and a stamp, left toy wombat and wombat magnet. TFTC Cheers.
Thanks to geoNana we had a childfree weekend to spend in Noosa. This was our 28th find on the way. Finally, the perfect cache for me! Great excuse to not climb the mountain. Thanks The Lost Bunch.
Found the cache today with Geo son and Geo Granddaughters. They were happy with the contents took 2 trinkets and left 2 trinkets.
We weren't going to climb the mountain but geo son decided it was such a great day for it we decided to do it.
Thank you for taking us to this great spot.

Just popped in to drop off Monte. Sorry Monte was on extended holiday. Was meant to be placed a long way from here but was accide fly forgotten. No harm done he has been having fun.
Ah, a nice easy cache to start the day. Will come back and climb the hill on a better weather day.

I was Lazy today, I didn't fancy walking up to the top of the mountain on my own and I'm not as fit as I use to be. Found this one quick. it was out in the open. I replaced the container where it looked it was suppose to be and covered it. Took the Zoo Keeper TB and the Not Another Micro Geocoin. I could not see the other TB, it was not in the cache.
Left some toys. TFTC

This was our first cache in the area on a weekend camping trip. I thought there was no chance that we'd actually climb the mountain, so this looked like the place to start. When geohubby read the sign he decided we'd return first thing the next morning for a family assault of Mount Coolum. Geoson walked in and retrieved the cache. We swapped some toys for the slime (geosons loved that!!!) and swapped some TBs and GCs. TFTC.
Yet another cache that geomum (Ninsclan) made me clamber through to get. We loved the contents and made a few swaps.
I'm with this cache. I'm not lazy but I am scared of heights. We walked Mt Coolum the next day and I couldn't go to the top. It was too scary. TFTC.

Easy find as the name suggests. Wanted to drop in a couple of TB's. Happy to find a Scottish Geocoin inside which I took for a further ride.
I had no excuse for not going up and over the mountain. Collected this cache on my return from visiting a Warrior and a time line over the other side.
Good to pick up another one while visiting the area

a lovely overcast day for a hike like this walked from the beach hunted, found and climbed a hill, TFTC [^] [^] [^] [^] [^]
We had intended to do the big walk up the hill, but realised when we got to the location that our geo-pooch was not welcome. We had to make do with the easy find at the bottom of the hill.

An easy find between muggles. As this was a micro, an extraction tool was already in hand. TFTC
GAFF 3 GPS was telling me it was in front of the geomobile but after breaking out the torch to check all holes in the log I resorted to the hint and then it all became very clear.Used the same method as others to grab the cache but returning cache was a little harder but the nimble aged Bushfire returned cache to it's possy. Thanks The Lost Bunch for aeasy cache.
Not a lazy cacher, but not as fit as that either (somewhere in between). TFTC The Lost Bunch - nice hide
Quick find, but container appeared to be stuck. Finally managed to wedge it out with a piece of wood. TFTC
Our last cache for the day in Mt Coolum. Arrived here on sunset to find a lot of muggles around, returning from their jog up the mountain. The cache was quickly retrieved but returning it proved more difficult due to muggles congregating at their cars for a chat. Our tallest geoman came in handy for this. TFTC
Easy find yes, easy to get at with the right tool in hand. Not a LAZY CACHE for the vertically challenged cacher when it comes to returning the cache into its place of abode, but with the cacher brain jumping into action all can be achieved when one fashions the right tool for the job!!! Thanks the Lost Bunch, it was a great challenge.
09:04 Nice easy find compared to the last at Maroochy Airport. Found nice and easily and huntsman spider fell out with the cache. Tftc
Went on a little geocaching expedition this morning. Our first in a while. Took the brand new geo-tot (4 weeks old this week) to find many of the newer caches in our area.
Needed great care to avoid the muggles.

lil geo bro found this one with a quick eye. he couldnt get it but with a sharp poke of a stick and a catch the cache was mine. tnlnsl tftc the lost bunch.
I couldn't resist a FTF so I grab this one nice and early. What a busy place it is at that hour in the morning with all the walkers climbing the mountain. I didn't even use the GPS for this one nice and easy find. TFTC Storkers
