Another one bit the dust. Time to say goodbye to a long term cache that has gone walkabout.
Could the next finder PLEASE, put a new piece of paper in this cache as I am on the other side of the country in Wa at the moment. Your help is very much appreciated. gerrynewgirl
A quick pull over and we were signing the log which is quite damp. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching- Heading to Rainbow Beach for a little Fat Bike Riding Fun, picked up this cache on the way.
Nice easy find with PyriteNinja
Needs maintenance as cache is not water tight. Paper was wet so couldn’t sign.

Found the cache. The paper inside is soaking wet. I’ve added a new piece of paper.
Hi there gerrynewgirl.
We are currently staying at Standown Park, Standown Park. It was originally set up as a Veterans Retreat for ‘their mates and later opened to the public to enjoy. Over the years it has grown to become a "home away from home" for many Veterans of all ages and all conflicts plus their families.
Today's venture had us heading out to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach to bag a few caches along the way. (We would have logged more, but the signs said we needed a vehicle permit to enter.)
All up we found 8 caches & DNF'd 2. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia..
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 5m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

First geocache found, pretty excited and off to find another one already. Easy find once you read through comments
Found while on the trip back to Hervey Bay with jollyroger&son. TFTC gerrynewgirl. I kept the original log in case you wanted it, but it is pretty blah. Nice spot, but refrained from swimming in the billabong :0
On a trip to Cooloola Cove with gallifreyen we located several caches . With this one we had to supply a dry piece of paper for a new log as the original was mush! TFTC
It was an easy find but the log was soaking wet so we weren’t able to write anything.
Found with Mrs Ant24 and the geokids while in TinCan Bay for a week.
Inside of cache is quite wet and log paper very damp. Was still able to sign it though.

Holidaying in Tin can bay thought we would do a few caches. Nice spot for the kids to play and find the Cache. Paper was wet in Cache. TFTC
Nalezeno při výletě do Tin Can bay společně s "blech". Krásné místo díky za kešku.
Found on a trip to Tin Can bay along with "blech". Beautiful place thanks for the cache.

Dora the Explorer!, Phil Serenity, Mrs CDAH55 and I decided to head to Tin Can Bay to watch the dolphins being fed and to gather with the other tourists. After having seen enough of the dolphins, it would seem silly to come all this way and not grab some nearby caches.
This was one of several caches found today.
After finding the cache, the log was signed by all of us and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
The log sheet was soggy and unusable however we signed on a small piece of scrap paper and added to the log. I usually carry spare water proof logs with me but for some reason, I took them out of the car.

Found this one but unable to log it so we took a photo for our records and proof. Spoiler alert.
Found this one while in the area looking at a caravan to buy.
A quick find and thankfully we were out of sight of the youths at the playground nearby.
Log is very damp and nearly unusable.
Thanks for the hide gerrynewgirl.

I was concerned I'd have trouble with this one because it wasn't found in more than 3 months, and whilst I found easily, the log was wet and I couldn't sign properly. Photo log to follow
TFTC out and about with sister and niece log is full log is wet signed GS1947
Great find for geogirl!!! It's kind of classic that the paper was in the paper bark tree.
Escaped for a few days of sand filled fun with Nyssaflutterby and Minniemoo and some of their kids.
Minniemoo needed a B cache for the monthly challenge so we sidetracked to get this one.
A quick easy find, the hard part was getting the kids to leave the park!

A quick stop here at the end of our short little holiday to Rainbow Beach. Kids played in the playground while we went searching for a swagman to tell tales to. Found him pretty quickly and he advised us that more gloomy weather was on the way and we would likely encounter it during our travels back to Brisbane. Said our farewells then had to convince the geokids to leave the playground before we headed on our way once more. Thanks for the cache gerrynewgirl.

Love the name 'Billabong Park'. QEF with HennyGeo. Here in Australia on holidays from Vancouver Island Canada TFTC
Brought the geo-van-that-can up to Rainbow beach for the long weekend and thought we'd have a cache morning by taking a drive out to Tin Can Bay (we have previously done all the ones at our door step last year!!!) This was our second cache off the rank today, didn't find the hairy guard but I did find this un-hairy specimen lying around...

Lots to choose from once we got close to GZ, but we checked out a few alternatives and managed to sign the log without too much trouble.

Make sure you get the right gnarly tree ... some have holes that go on forever ......
When we read the coords were slightly off we found it straight away, great clue good cache
Just topped up on supplies at the grocery shop for our Rainbow beach holiday and ducked over to check out the park. Still light rain so no playing muggles. Past the park and spotted the billabong - looks nice but not keen for a dip today.
Following the clue, spotted lots of hairy men, just needed the right one. Nice hide , cool spot.

Stopped off for this one while Mrs Browngang went shopping.
Nearly came in from the "hard" direction, straight through the scrub before realizing there was lawn I could come in along.
Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang
