Came out here with the boonie stompers and actually just stumbled across this one. There was little rain at the time so the falls weren't flowing, leaving much to the imagination.
First Guam Geocache! My buddy actually found it by complete accident, he had no idea what a geocache was. Awesome place. TFTC
First Cache in Guam! Stumbled on it completely by accident, no GPS, just exploring! Nobody else saw it but me!
Interior seemed to be a little damp, TNLNSL! Thanks!

Nice hike. Didn't find it but we're working without a GPS for now. Maybe we'll find it later.
Whoo-boy but, this countryside has its ups & downs We choose not venture down but, saw the upper falls, though.......
We spent the day hiking and made a point to find the cache. Loved it, but we were eaten alive. I think it's time for us to invest in better bugspray.
did this on a wild hair after work. the area was grown back up and i think we took the hard way in, but it was worth it. it was nice just to get out and do something. falls were a little disappointing but it's dry. after a diagreement with the ants, they finally let me have the cache. nicely placed. Thanks again!!
This is a nice, easy hike to the GZ. Especially since the area was recently burned...
It's a nice scenic area and I look forward to coming back here. Veganmimi and I had some time late this afternoon so we decided to go for this. I'm glad we did.
We did find the mosquitos were gathering for a meeting and noticed us at GZ. We didn't stay long. TFTC TN L-GC SL

Nice full swag in here ! The falls are pretty but not in full effect due to the dryness of the season !
I have family that stays down here so yesterday when we were trying to figure out where we wanted to hike to next, my cousin says "hows about Malojloj falls?" Cooool, i think to myself...there's a cache there. At the super duper last minute, I tell everyone where to meet and we (as usual) get off to a late start. Once I've collected everyone, 2 Duck Hunters, 4 siblings, 3 cousins, 1 neice, and 1 Uncle Ken included...we take our "before" picture and head on in. We break off into two groups eventually. The older kids and more experienced hikers (whom I so lovingly refer to as the Kamikaze group) go down the path to the left, and the safe-and-not-sorry hikers (yup, that's me) go down the trail that seems...you know...SAFE.
There had been a lot of brushfires lately and this area was not exempt. Dry season indeed. We had no problems with sakati or anything because it had all been BURNED to ashes! In no time at all we hear the water from the falls and make our way down. It was beautiful down there! I didn't have my camera on me, so I'll post some pics once I get them from my cousin.
We get to about 20 feet from the cache and I see the kamikaze group at the bottom of the falls. The kids all want to swim, but its a little low...so I tell them we'll just find the cache and go to the beach or something. I'm taking a break on a rock and start reading the cache discription and the hint and my brother goes a few feet from me and WOOHOO! HE FOUND IT!
He brings it out to the rest of us for all to see (we have a big group, and not all of them are familiar with caching). We go through the swag and he picks something he wants, which I still have no idea what he needs with it, but its cool, we left our signature rubber duckie.
We look at the time and gosh, it took us all of twenty minutes to get in here...we have the rest of the day to kill...now what? We decide to head on over to Lao Lao Falls. I think it was easy for us because the fire had literally cleared the way.

DNF, but the hike was amazing! We started at the top of the falls and worked our way to the bottom... I looked for the cache on a side note. The GPSr was jumping around so much that I couldn't get a bead on it. I will save it for another day, I am sure we will be back to visit.
Whew! What a hike! I'll have to come back when it's not the dry season, the water was very low...but worth it nonetheless! Spectacular falls, TFTC!
AMAZING HIKE! Can't wait to do more like this one! The water was low like TOM_5 said but it was still BEAUTIFUL! TFTC!

Thanks CJ for this cache. DawgDoc1 and I went on the trek to find this cache. Unless you have iron skin, the long pants are a must, the sawgrass it tall and sharp and has been freshly fertilized with human blood. The jeep trail ends and there are three trails ( one straight ahead, one to the left and one to the right). We checked all three paths just for completeness and can reported that there is only one relative safe way donwto the river, We then slid down the muddy slope, and finally reached the falls. What a view!! and finally we located the cache. After taking some pictures, we struggled back up the slopes and through the sawgrass. TNLN. TFTC.
Accompanied brunz_backpack down to the falls after taking him to Lao Lao Falls. The falls were nice and big today. Note to all geocachers: the rocks are slick!!! Brunz took a spill and we sacrificed (another) cell phone to the water! Be careful and take your time at these falls. They're beautiful right now. Watch out for the giant crawdads in the pools. Those babies are 6 inches plus!!!
Left work early today to do some caching with mjw71772. Jumped in his hybrid cache-mobile and hit a bunch of caches. This was our main target. Arrived at the trailhead and found out that the hike was shorter than we expected. The parts near the falls got a little tricky but thanks to the ropes, we were able to make it down okay. Definitely needed the gloves and the mosquito juice. mjw71772 found the cache first and we both signed the log and took pictures. Thanks to geocaching and cjpinaula for bringing me to another place on Guam that I have never heard of before! TFTC-SL TNLN
