Finally made my way down that far south and rehid this one!
I did find the old cache, but it far too damaged for use.
Relocated the cache so there are new coords and a new hint.
Also increased the difficulty and terrain a bit!
New coords: N13 16.128 E144 44.680

Ready to go! But note the different coords, different clue, and slightly higher ratings!
Disabling for now. I won't be able to get to maintaining until I get back from vacation.
Cache was still in decent condition but the bag holding the log is all ripped up and the lid to the container has the tabs on the side broken off so it doesn't lock down. The lid is just sitting on top. May need a new replacement container. I have some extra if you need one. I didn't have my extra cache supplies on hand during this trip or I would have done it.

Finally got this one. We have talked about wanting to go out to the island and grab this but never had the time to do it. Well today was the day. We enjoyed walking all around the island and exploring the life in the tide pools. We also found a deep channel that we could swim/float in to cool off.

Aahaha! SannnRox and 671Stargazer explained it... Thanks for the cache. I've always wanted to come here and finally had a reason to...
Today was just a REAL rough day to attempt this cache! It had rained earlier in the day and it took us less time than expected to hike to Gadao's Cave, so we decided to come out and grab this one since the sun was still up. We knew we'd probably we getting wet, tide was comin in and FAST! So we left all electronics in the car, Carmen (our GPS) included. Grabbed a pen and a duckie for swag and we were off!
will.he.is, CatLoverJ, and 671stargazer had a head start so iJosh, rocket671 and I had a little catching up to do...but it was SO slippery! Along the way I start cracking jokes that this is our first "off island" cache! hehe
Once we're on the island, I start repeating the clue...but we're all too busy trying to take pictures...we get sidetracked a little then focus on our mission: find the cache! We're already through the keyhole like the clue tells us, but then it says under a bush. Well we didn't EXPECT there to be a bunch of friggin BUSHES back here! We spread out (a nice advantage to having six cachers going at it) and JUST as I'm about to turn around and climb down from a rock I was perched on, stargazer calls FOUND IT behind me! Seriously, I was standing RIGHT there, but just didn't turn around! I don't know how she does it!
The cache is surprisingly in excellent shape considering no one's claimed to find it since July last year. We hurriedly signed the log and went back to PLAYING on the island! The waves were WICKED and while jaron and will (stupidly, might I add, but boys will be boys) went out to the little peninsula...the waves appeared to be getting bigger! I could only watch in horror and pray that the funnel of current doesn't swallow them. They got their adrenaline fix and came back safely.
Josh took some playing cards and I left a rubber duckie.

I've always wanted to swim in the tempting nearby pools. My parents came to visit so I finally had a good excuse and opportunity to do so. Neither my parents nor Anna were adventurous enough to go with me, so I went it alone. Seeing as how the was up to my hip at most I figured it was safe enough.
I got up on the island and found GZ quickly. I looked high and low. I found a piece of discarded toy (misplaced swag) but that was it. I am fairly certain I found the location of where the cache should have been, but that cache was not there. D'oh! This is not one you can just swing by and catch next time. But, I guess it's a double-d'oh for the cache owner who may want to maintain this in case I am right about it missing... sucker...

The negative tide today made it a perfect time to go out for this one. Veganmimi and I had an easy trip out and... not too bad with the spiders. There were just a couple that wanted to hang with us. We ventured a bit and enjoyed the beauty of this location. Thanks for bringing us here TFTC TNLN SL
Our GPS' zeroed out in one area and there was no cache to be found. But determination and a little site seeing and there it was. TFTH
"wow. you are such a dork dad. hiding a cache out here." that's what i thought when you first hid it.

Well, Rhodesisland, Book_freak and I all decied that this would be a good cach to go to. So we get out there and Mrs. Rhodes is a the shore were she hears me scream supppperrrrr load. When we had retured from our adventore Mrs. Rhodes said to me, "You ran into a spider didnt you." She had heard me scream all the way from shore. WATCH OUT FOR SPIDERS.
The weather conditions were just right today to log this cache. So, after lunch at Jeff's Pirate Cove and some Ifit woodcarving shopping, we drove south to log this cache.
The tide was low so it was an easy walk to the island. There are a lot of the sea cucumbers in the shallow water between the shore and the island. TNLN. TFTC.

I stood on shore and watched as JEBEST walked on water. Beautiful area...I even tried my video camera!
Awesome site! I've been meaning to get out to this island and this was the perfect excuse, TFTC!
What an amazing place for a cache! The guys had a blast jumping from the top into the swimming hole! TFTC!
Decided to cut out of work early today so that I could finish this one before our event this weekend. Went with mjw71772, miriamjoabwest and Mrs. Blygoat and had a great time. The tide was perfect and the walk over to the cache wasn't that bad. What a beautiful location and a great hide! Thoroughly enjoyed this one! Found out afterwards that mjw71772 doesn't really know how to swim so if he can do it, anyone can! Now, if we can only learn to walk on water. TFTC-SL TNLN
