Following the path from lake we came to big walking track. Plundered from the first viewing platform while the cache was found near a second platform. Easy to find. And a very nice stroll while the others enjoyed the rest of the lake and myself the silence during a little strollTFTC
Found a couple of days ago but forgot to log. Didnt download the caches before trying to find them so worked blind following gps without the info required. Got there eventually and followed up with a mandatory swim. Only 4 people in this lake. TFTC
Ive never been to Kgariso I was a little bit excited when Beardman75 suggested a weekend awayBeardman75, CaptainVimes, and Davinells all had valuable roles to play I was the annoying neighbourNot all roads lead to Birraafter Wanggoolba we headed towards what appeared to be a road on the map turns out that road wasnt actually there and the next one seemed just as dubious we got here eventually were it didnt take long to locate the container and we were back in the Chainsawless Pajero for the trip back to KingfisherAn awesome group of friends means I am able to claim this findThanks kholometers Dingo Count - 0
Beardman75 had an idea so a plan was made to head to Kgari for a weekend of sun, sea and sand. With Beardman75 at the wheel, CaptainVimes, Peppa and all of the Davinells piled into the pajero and off we went. After visiting the peaceful Wanggoolba creek we made our way to Lake Birrabeen. We have seen this lake from the southern side while doing the great walk so it was nice to get a different perspective. Peppa honed Im on GZ and made the find.Tftc kholometersFind #4708
Our last cache for the day before heading back to Kingfisher. Thanks for the cache kholometers
Found by Facitman and Mrs Facit at 15:45
We are having a wonderful time visiting K'gari and the lakes are certainly highlights of this beautiful island. Today we drove a loop from Kingfisher Bay and later in the day we ended up at this lake. Not another person in sight so very much enjoyed the peace and beauty of this place. As we were leaving I made a quick stop to search for this cache and came up trumps after a few misdirections.
Thanks Kholometers

Love this place far more than McKenzie. Just as beautiful, and had the place to ourselves. Thanks for the cache.
Exploring the southern lakes today. Stopped at Mackenzie on the way through - got there early and were the only ones there. 45 minutes later it was like a public swimming pool so headed to Birrabeen based on the info in the cache description. We weren't disappointed - lovely place to swim and almost no-one here. Another great place found because of a cache - thank you
On the island for a few days getting in some hiking to get km in the legs. This was thankfully on the way through so was able to combine and get some caching in too
Thanks kholometers for the cache.

Went for a drive past the lakes. Fantastic weather. I can now say I have been to Birra. Thanks for placing this cache.
Dropped at this beautiful lake on Fraser Island I’m Queensland. Hopefully it gets picked up soon!
Found on a geocaching adventure with Ms Mallln Jnr around Fraser Island. Geocaching has given us a purpose on where to go around the island. TFTC
Fraser Island and the surrounding beachside locations have been on my bucket list for many years so I jumped at the chance when charmad asked me to join him and Triple Turmoil on a 4WD camping trip on the Anzac Day long weekend. This was an awesome adventure with great weather, lots of laughter with many a joke and story telling, sleeping under the stars, spotting six dingoes and many beautiful birds that I've never seen before. I was amazed at the amount of lakes we visited, all very different but such a pleasure to see them.
This was the first cache of the day after the long drive inland from the barge and was found quite quickly.

A three day camping road trip with Snickersallan, Triple turmoil and myself was organised to see Fraser Island, Rainbow Beach and Double island point. What a fantastic time we had; driving around enjoying the scenery, bush walks, visiting lakes, lunch and dinners on the beach, and a great camp site at Dundubara. The trip was full of laughs and great companionship, thank you.
We knew we were going to be in for a long couple of days, so it was an early start and with a couple of target caches in mind we set off to on the 6.30am barge.
This was our first find, after taking the inland track up it was nice to get out for a stretch. Cache was easily found, our names in the log and cache replaced as found. All good with this one thank you.

I have never had the opportunity to visit Fraser Island. Chamad wanted an adventure. A road trip and I am super grateful that he took me along. We had a 3 day road trip, on Fraser Island, Double Island Point and Rainbow beach, plus a detour on the way home to Brisbane through Gympie, Boreen Point and Noosa. Snickersallen joined us too and it was great to meet someone new, especially someone fun to cache with. So many laughs, frustrations and more laughs. Lots achieved. Some road blocks preventing some wanted achievements, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway.
This was our first one found on Fraser Island as we took the bumpy inland track north.

Took some newbies to Fraser on a visit to the fresh water lakes. Then thought it might be nice to introduce them to Geocaching.
Well done Maddie on finding this one

On the island with the family, basing ourselves at Eurong so today was Day 1 of exploring, a great spot for Morning Tea here and a quick find. All is good with the hide. Thanks for placing this cache
During our journey through Australia (from Darwin to Melbourne through the outback, one week on Tasmania and back from Sydney to Cairns) I found this cache.
TFTC and greetings from Germany!

On Fraser Island we could still search and find one or the other cache. Thank you for the cache. Greetings from two Swiss who travel around Australia for a year.
Found with gpander on the 3-9-19. Service was limited for the phone so couldn't log with the app till the next day.
Found in good condition. Would really love to come back to Lake Birrabeen and spend a whole day here. When we passed through, it was dusk and a gorgeous full moon was rising over the lake. I'll never forget it.
Found during our stay with Maccamob, GeoJo and Slider & Smurf... What a great time we had exploring
Nice to be able to find a ‘real’ cache and surprised to have the place to ourselves. Wonderful spot to visit - but the weather was a bit cooler today so didn’t go for a swim! TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 1416. Probably our favourite now, compared to Lake McKenzie. We had the place all to ourselves, and the area was magnificent A FP for bringing us here. We also appreciated all the information signs. Sadly, our last day on Fraser Island; we leave in the morning. Our thanks to kholometers.
We took a drive to the lake this morning and found this cache. Great spot!
All is well with your cache. Was nice to have a read of some of the old logs.
Thanks for the cache kholometers and adding more fun to our Fraser holiday.

First stop on my Cool Dingo tour. Sneaked off quickly to grab this cache. Tftc
A great find. Swapped over two trackables. No pen or pencil in this cache and we didn't have one on us this time.
Very nice place, thanks !
No Pen but everything is ok in the box.

Found with Justjessie on our Fraser Island adventure. We did 380kms over 3 days exploring the place and hunting for caches. Thanks to all the cache owners, we loved it and will return.
On Frazer island for the week. Finding all the caches. Found eventually, I think we did it the hardest way we could. Tftc
Came up here over the Easter holidays, only just getting around to logging the caches now. TFTC, lovely spot.
This lake is just awesome! Could have spent the whole day there swimming and relaxing

TFTF. What a wonderful spot we think this will be our new lunch and part day spot.
Went in blind with no reception and only saved coords. Thankfully had the cache in hand without having to recruit the fam. TFTC
While enjoying a visit over on Fraser Island we made sure caching and exploring went hand in hand. With a tour group close by we made some discreet moves while searching for the cache. Thanks kholometers for the placement in this great area .

Staying at my friends near Coolum Beach I was doing some caching to visit the area. This was one of the boxes I found.

On our fantastic 4WD self-driving-tour around Fraser Island we found this cache and jumped in the freshwater Lake Birrabeen. TFTC. Greetings from Switzerland!
Eremitgth and I went out for a 4WD trip around Fraser Island. We had a lot of fun and found this Cache as well. Thank you for hiding it!
Awesome area kids had a nice time swimming was a quite area my fav place so far...
During a wonderful visit to the island Geomumlo and I decided we needed to do a cache and this one was it! A bit of searching as GPS a bit up and down and a bit of an anxious moment in the undergrowth and we were there! TYFC took pretty she'll but left nothing as only had pen! Will put two trinkets when we come again! Amazing views!
I caught him on my road trip from Cairns toward Brisbane.

Came here this morning for a cool swim. Before that The-Shredder and me quickly found this cache. TFTC Skyryser
Last day on Fraser we drove to the lake for a last swim before catching the barge. Arrived to GC to find a muggle taking in the view of the lake. While I talked to him my shadow went and retrieved the cache from it's hiding place. Loved the view and the clear lake TFTC.
