Out and about in the sunshine for Melbourne Cup Public Holiday, stopped here as we check out some of the coastline. Thanks for find #521
I moved to Foster about a week an a half ago. Absolutely love it here. Decided to go out and find some caches to get to know the region a little better. This is my first stop. Just before the cache there is a sign; "Windy Ridge." Today this is incredibly, accurately named. It's positively cyclonic. The countryside is magnificent and the view here amazing. I will definitely get back up here for photos when the weather is better. Thanks for placing the cache. Easy park and grab. I'll look out for more caches from you in the area. Hey, do they have any events in the area? Nice way to meet local geocachers.TNLN ----- TFTC
Had to get a ToTT out to get this one..water emptied.. new stone paper strip and ziplock bag added to replace old wet soggy log... travel bug rescued.
In and around the area exploring. Had to do a bit of a search here but worth it to admire the view. Thanks FlyingPigSquadron for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Nice easy find. Spent more time enjoying the view than searching for the cache. Thank you very much!
Day Trip: Home/Drouin/Poowong/Korumburra/Leongatha/FishCreek/Waratah/SandyPoint/Foster . . . Warragul/Home.
Great views that's for sure! We'll have to come back on a clearer day as it was a bit hazy today and probably take in Mt Nicholl as well. Last cache find for the day and now it's time to head into Fish Creek for a pub meal before setting off for home.

So envious of the couple of houses built here, I'd never tire of the view, ....lucky people. We will return on a less hazy day but enjoyed it all the same, nice easy find too.

Found with LittleBoss2 after a night at Fish Creek. Thanks for this amazing view, we're a bit envious

FlyingPigSquadron has landed! Replaced damaged container and log and restocked with fresh items. All good to go!
Unfortunately until lock down to regional areas is lifted we cannot undertake maintenance as we no longer live in the area. We will check the cache as soon as it is reasonable to do so
I driven past here so many times but always someone here. Today I came by twice and 2nd time lucky. Had to stop anyway As I had a stone in some part of brake drum. Went to try to pull it out and burnt end of finger. A lovely lady stopped to see if I was ok and with her scissors and knitting needle we managed to remove the stone. Then on to find container, made me wish to be taller like happens so often with geocaching. container and contents gross with black slime sorry had nothing to clean with. I did put log in another bag though. I have grown up with this gorgeous view and glad to find a gc here on this glorious day. Tftc FlyingPigSquadron
Classy View indeed. It was slightly hazy as we arrived at the layby in which this cache is to be found. The view out towards Wilsons Promontory is quite spectacular. When we arrived, a plumber was walking around on the phone; we assume because the phone reception is quite good in this spot. Mrs Dromaniax took the opportunity to get the camera out and take some photos for her current assignment until the plumber left the area. Once the coast was clear, we quickly found the cache and signed the log. We were somewhat surprised that this cache hasn't been found since last year as this is not a difficult cache to find. The cache had some water in, but we dried it out as best as possible; the log was dry as a bone. Thank you for this cache FlyingPigSquadron.
With the relaxed Covid restrictions in regional Victoria, we are enjoying being out and about in Gippsland. We have been frustrated with our finds this year, we had planned to travel and explore central NSW and Queensland using the geo map as our tour guide, but Covid messed that up.
Once again we have teamed up with Rebel Acts (and are signing small caches as RASP)and today we are down South Gippsland way on the look out for as many caches as we can find. At the moment it is a mild overcast day which makes for very comfortable caching.
Mrs SKI jumped out to look for this one with no luck. It wasn’t until the much taller Rebel Acts helped that the cache was found. The cache was well named, it is a great view

The weather was looking good , with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, We had a great day exploring the South Gippsland region. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today.
Thanks FlyingPigSquadron for the cache.
Thanks FlyingPigSquadron for the cache.
Great views. Awesome conifer. Though I must admit that the huge hanger made me get in and out as quickly as I could. Grabbed 2 trackables and we were on our way.
My wife was looking for a 30 kilometer plus track for a training run and I suggested the Great Southern Rail Trail as there was a number of geocaches on it that I hadn't found. We started at Meeniyan and she ran to Foster while we drove, walked and geocached our way there.
Quick find as we were able to park within 2 meters of the geocache. 999HK wanted to do this one herself but just wasn't able to reach it.
We swapped tbs
Thanks for the cache Flying Pig Squadron

We had a great day out riding and caching on the trail and if I was really fit we would have gone on longer. We will be back to enjoy a more of this great series. Tyftc

What a beautiful view indeed! If my school had those views I would have loved going every day!
As the cache name implies, it's a classy view indeed. Thanks for bringing me here.
A fairly quick find at yet another spot with some great views. I have left a TB here for it to continue its journey.
Thanks for the fun

The house below has million dollar views! Very windy up here again (read previous logs) but my beanie stayed on. Found quickly. TNLN TFTC
Day 3 of our South Gippsland holiday and caching adventures saw us (me and the 4 & 6 year old geokids) going for a morning drive. This is a gorgeous view. I love the Prom. Master 4 came to grab this one but it was so windy he retreated to the car. I wasn't far behind! Super windy! Many thanks for the cache
Wow, what a view, but we nearly got blown off the hill. So windy up here today! We left a bobble head dog. TFTC
We started doing the Rail Trail from Foster, but had to change our mind and leave due to GPS problems. We stopped here on our way to Fish Creek and found and signed the log and took 2xTB's, and left 1xTB. Great views from here although a bit of a cold wind today.

A quick find and an awesome for a TB lounge. The view of the Prom and the Inlet are magnificent. I dropped off the Bindi TB and swapped for the 2013 TB sharkie. Found with my mum and brother. TFTC- awesome spot.
Our last stop for the day, and we enjoyed the view, while swapping some trackables.
Many thanks for placing this cache, FlyingPigSquadron, for us and others to find.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, we are currently based in Foster.
Headed out today with a list of caches to attempt. We had only a 50/50 [:(!] success ratio then added in some puzzles so still trying to calculate what that means.
Awesome view and great cache as we have come to expect from FlyingPigSquadron. Swapped over TB's and greetings from Perth WA.
TFTC and letting us use Geocaching to tour the local area. Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event
