Muggled - cache was removed by a member of the public and handed in to the police!
Box will be recovered so I'll check for any TBs and move them on, but I think this cache has now run its course.
Thanks to everyone who visited.
No thanks to whoever the recent cacher was that, judging by my conversation with the police, left the cache plainly visible to the public. [:(!]

Pointed the kids in the right direction & told them the clue; found it within minutes. Due to damp conditions, no muggles about but plenty of mozzies. Drop off Fifi & took rubber ducky.
This cache was being guarded by a very large friendly spider who let us sign the log. Good clues, quick find. TFTC
Found with deadrockflower, wiiphee, bucko, reebuck and nana. On way to doing a job, and had some time to kill. A nice wee walk in some nice bush. The guardian is doing his job well. Tnlnsl. Tftc.
Found on a lovely Sunday morning with WiiPhe, BuckO, ReeBuck, Kiwiterm and Nana. TFTC.
Loved the tower, never knew it was there! TFTC frog still in the case . . . . . . Seth Raven loved the playground nearby (we are chalking up lots of new playgrounds - he's having a blast!)
Found the frog had jumped from the suitcase but all back safe and sound now. Thanks for the explanation about the tower as we were wondering what it was. TFTC #2424
Nice quick find. Nice quick meal for the mozzies too. TFTC. Removed Coin.
A quick find on a caching expedition in the area today. Interesting old tower! Signed log, TFTC.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We went for a walk around the Botanical Gardens this afternoon and decided to find this one on our way home.

Our last kiwi-cache after 2 month of holiday in New Zealand, and what a big one! TFTC
Waqs going to drop TB off here, but couldn't remember where the cache was, but TB enjoyed the cross country roads.
Nice easy find for the family. Love the frog. First time I've been back to the Watertower since I used walk past here on my way to and from school some 35 years ago. Used to be able to get inside the tower back then. I remember when they put the new roof on it. TFTC Mr Tomato!
Lovely walk for the dog. No muggles around. Grass made my ankles VERY itchy though. TFTC
Quick maintenance visit - everything looking OK. Please make sure the cache is well covered and hidden when you replace it!
Nice old homestead. Wandered the garden and then found the tower.. closer to the car than i thought. Had to hide from a brat that was chucking sticks at the tower while I was there..
Thought that this cache looked familiar as had already been here but forgotton to log it (2 June 2011). So just updating and thanks for a well themed cache
Managed to upset a White Tailed imposter who seemed content to lie in wait for its next victim. No more.
Fantastic park and the cache is just as fantastic. We loved the Gaurdian of the cache - wonderful colour in the suit.
Nice location. Everytime I drove past this I wondered if there was a cache near by. Tradded swag

Nice and easy find just as the sun was setting. I really liked the bag. TFTC.
Finding that big structure was a complete surprise as i did not read the description before I got to GZ.
Thanks for the little history on the location.

Quick find, seemed in good condition and it was well hidden. TFTC, found with kiwi-anna.
Havent been to Nathan Homestead for years and noticed this cache was active again so thought we would get it. Nice walk to GZ and good view of the water tower up close. Miss enjoyed taking photos of the tower while i nabbed the cache just out of muggle view. TNLNSL - TFTC!

A member of the public contacted us this morning saying that they'd found the lid of this cache in their back garden! Went to check, and it's definitely gone. No sign of the contents.
We'll replace in a few weeks' time.

3383. We are in Auckland for a few days attending a conference so took the opportunity tonight to do a little caching. This was an interesting spot for our first find.
Thanks

This was missing the first time we tried for it. That was ages ago. Back tonight for a quick find with Sallies.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Great location, Was my first cache I have done in a couple of years. Was great to do with my young children. In: Toy dinosaur, Out: Toy cow. TFTC
A great cache with a super cool tower! Took the red jeep TB and left a green jeep TB.

It's quite an imposing tower, reminding me of a guard tower from some WWII film. Having read about the GPS confusion I was quite surprised to walk to the co-ords and to see the cache at my feet (why doesn't it do that more often?). A well stocked cache and the frog still croaks! TFTC
Quick find during a few spare minutes with timj7 who is in on holiday from Australia.
TN left small slinky and signature eraser. TFTC.

Found without any problems. Picked up TB will take to Sydney to continue journey to Singapore aug 5th. TFTC
Just a general maintenance visit and TB dropoff... Everything's alright, although some changes to GZ means that the cache has drifted slightly! Hint has been updated accordingly.
Nicely hidden cache. It took me few minutes to find it... but at the end I was successful... Nice "little" tower nearby.
Some hours left until the plane back to Germany will start. Some trackables left, who wanted to stay in NZ longer. Now the frog has some new flatmates.

Stopped by to visit Mr. Frog after exploring the Botanic Garden and before catching our flight home. It was fun to see the names of geocaching friends from home in the log. Thanks!
A nice quick find. Dropped off Drama Queen TB with Pete the Navigator. Cheers
Found this without to much difficulty used the opportunity to drop off the TB Drama Queen. My daughter has spent many days and evenings practising as a member of the Nathan Homestead Youth Theatre, in productions of COW, Alice in Wonderland, and Willy Wonka.
Found the frog in his hiding place near that fairy-tale like tower. We were intrigued enough to research it when we got home, and discovered that it is actually an old water tower. Thanks for taking us to this interesting spot.

Second time lucky for me. Again it was getting late in the day, but with the help of the clue I managed to navigate my way almost directly to the cache - it's amazing the difference a year can make! Croak, croak - TFTC - time now to head south to my accommodation.
Intrigued by the cache name, I've wanted to check this one out for a while. Had a bit of time before flying home today so a good chacne to get to it. Good spot, TFTC, Biggles.
