After years of this one sitting here unfound and being told I wouldnt be able to get it jlc15 and I had a crack today. To all those doubters up yours I got it and it was awesome. Fave from me tftc
Came out this morning and completed the Ad Lab in the cemetery. Thought Id better follow through with this one as well. You suggested reading the headstone carefully which I thought I did but got waypoint two wrong. Still I was close enough to find it and was able to correct my numbers there and move on to the third waypoint. From there it was straightforward and duly completed. An added bonus was finding the grave of an old friend back at the cemetery. Thanks for this interesting cache.
We collected the data from the first waypoint whilst we were attempting the Adventure Lab. After completing the Adventure Lab and finding the Bonus cache, we refocussed on this multi. After visiting the remaining waypoints we had the data to complete the calculated of the coordinates for GZ. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. Thanks Dazza for an interesting multi - we learnt aspects of the discovery of gold in the area that we had not appreciated previously.
Thank you for a great multi!! This multi took me to a number of historical sites which have shaped Ballarat, Victoria and Australia. I think I did a few dodgy calculations but got to every waypoint required. Got to GZ and found the cache outside of its hiding spot. Signed the log and returned it to its hiding spot as per the hint and covered with natural camo (if you are at the correct GZ you will still easily find it). TFTC!!
17:01A weekend of shenanigans to farewell the Ballarat GeoTour.Well, I was certainly rewarded by a couple of points of interest I'd otherwise have flown past. Again. And I know far more about Mr. Hiscock than I did. Thanks, Dazza1.#8256
After a bit of a false start while out with Cybergran on this one, we had to seek a some assistance from a previous finder to get to the second waypoint. We were then on our way and I visited WP3 today and got the numbers to find GZ. After a little bit of a scramble, I was glad to see the container, and to the finally sign the log
Found It!A nice multi with plenty of history along the way. Made my way through the waypoints and then got to the final location and found the cache!TFTC
Today we explored Ballarat and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.Once we worked through this multi we made a quick find at GZ while doing some of the Geo tour. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
Got 5 days off from work so I decided to come to Ballarat and do the Geo Tour before its gone, also grabbing random caches and Adventures labs along my journey. So thanks to all who have placed caches. Sl cache replaced.
A whole four day trip with Aquilus1 to do the GeoTour in Ballarat some caching around Geelong and anything else that looked good on the way.
Weather was ok albeit a bit on the wet side for the first two days.
This cache was one of the ones we had the oportunity to do.
This was at first confusing as we had expected the multi to continue within the cemetery but now we got coords in the middle of a field. We calculated again this time using the older Hiscocks and got a set of more feasible coordinates to continue with. From there is was clear sailing to the final. A nice tour of some hidden history around the area. Well done to highlight it all. A nice old cache.
Thank you Dazza1 for the nice cache and experience you gave us!

This cache was one found on a trip away with Flintstone's for 4 days. We had the Geotour in Ballarat as our target, and made our way as far as Queenscliff.
Ballarat caching was a joy, and with the tour, we saw many lovely and interesting locations as well as stopping for many other caches as we passed. Lots of little walks helped with the colder first few days as well as being quite scenic.
A change of weather and scenery towards Queenscliff but the coast was a great place to visit with plenty to do and see. As always, more to do than there was time for, will just have to return one day! Thank you for your cache!
The first calculated wp look off but we trusted it and it payed off. A fascinating tour of local history here, glad we stopped!

A really interesting collection of waypoints in this multi. I enjoyed the history of it all.
I solved the multi a while ago and was waiting for the right time to collect as I wanted to find a good spot to park.
Today was the day and after parking, I walked 100m or so and the cache was in hand.

Bit by bit I have collected the waypoints and then solved the coordinates for GZ. Thanks for this cache and the history lesson involved, fascinating story and mini tour.

Hooked up with deanside and Sheebs after a few events to pick up a few more caches. We questioned our calculations a few times but trusted what we had and was soon on our way. Yes it made sense! Found some interstating way points along the way but was a bit confused for GZ location. Cache was easily found though.
Thanks Dazza1 for placing for all to enjoy.
Thanks Dazza1 for placing for all to enjoy.
Thanks Dazza1 for creating this multi and sending me to some great places with fantastic information. Found after a CITO in Smythesdale cemetery with the lovely company of CracknLeeLee. Happy trails from Deanside
Found It.......After a day in Ballarat we decided to grab a few caches on the way home. We had done most of the legwork on this one before heading up and kept it for the next time we were in the area. After pulling up near gz a quick stroll soon had Mr H_3 at a likely looking tree and bingo he had the cache in hand and with the log signed we continued our journey homeward. Thanks Dazza1 for the cache and the history lesson Giving it a Fav point
Our last full day here in Ballarat, and we made our way to the nearby cemetery, where we spent some time wandering around and reading some of the history here. We decided to have a look at this multi, which lead us to a few interesting and rather hidden historic locations.
With numbers collected, we made our way to the final, and after a steep, short leap to the top, we soon had our names in the log
Thanks Dazza1

Found 16:38 5/3/2023. It was enjoyable learning about how Thomas found the gold. Thank you Dazza1 for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Found with mogni, we are supposed to be targeting the nearby geo tour caches but seem to get side tracked on the way. this was one of the many caches that side tracked us. slowlying getting closer to 1000 currently 905 multi finds
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

On a Christmas Holiday with sir_spectre, visiting family in Mount Gambier and then on to Victoria to visit some new places as well as some old haunts.

For anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australia’s only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
And for anyone that can travel to Longreach, Queensland, late September 2023, Google “QOGM” which is the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. You’ll have at least 8 or 9 days of pure geocaching fun with around 200 like minded people attending a mix of events and access to over 200 geocaches placed by the QOGM team. It’s not a Mega, it’s better.

We are targeting the BGT series and this one was nearby. Thanks for hiding and enhancing our exploration of the area.
Found as I travelled from Adelaide to attend the Mega event at Whittlesea on the weekend. I gave myself a couple of days to get there so that I could find a few caches of interest along the way.
Thanks Dazza1 for the cache.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 3: More Ballarat Geotour then off to Geelong.
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. Having spent all day yesterday juggling GPS and phone to try and do caches and labs simultaneously we fell well short of finishing the tour. So it was well into the afternoon before we left for Geelong. Once in Geelong it was a time to walk to get some caching down there too. Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
Got the numbers and arrived at GZ. [^] Decided on the steeper short way and quickly had the cache in hand. Surprisingly nobody slipped or fell going up or down. [^]
***Thanks Dazza1 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

I found your D2.0/T1.5 Regular Multi-Cache called Hiscock's Reward. at 14:57 on 16 November 2022. It was find #16031 for me. Thank you Dazza1 for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.
We decided to hit this one tonight after surviving the zombie apocalypse. Information at WP1 took us a minute, (we think trying to get this one done on the dark may have made our life harder!) we eventually got what we needed and off we went. Information at WPs 2 and 3 were much easier to get and off we went to GZ. Scratching our heads sure I messed up calculations somehow, we read through some logs which confirmed we were in the right location. Once Mr H started in he found the cache very quickly!

We have a tendency to stuff up multis and we were right on track to do it again with this one. Thankfully something caught our attention before we had a chance to repeat history.
After flying through the remaining waypoints, we arrived in the vicinity of GZ and immediately thought, ‘We’ve done it again’. With no option but to check out the area, we were thrilled and a little surprised to find the cache.
Thank you Dazza1 for an enjoyable multi and for the history lesson.

Happy Palindrome Day! It’s twosday and palindromes and events are all around. Even the GeoRanger got in on the action with some palindromic odometer readings. A day trip to Ballarat for the CITO and a few other finds as I work up to my 6666th find - what a perfect day for it!
Well. This was far more of a journey than I expected. I found the gravestone and headed off to find WP2. It looked odd and seemed to be possibly on private property but I stumbled on something about 80m closer that fitted the description. It was here that I discovered there is a second gravestone, neither of which still get you to WP2, although if you try to get there you should still find what you need on the way. With no mention of the obelisk at WP2 I set off on a rough hunt and soon discovered it anyway.
Then the names…. To include or not include. I didn’t include and it provided a sensible GZ in the street named after Thomas. It maybe sensible, but it is not GZ. Instead as many before me have mentioned I made an odd park and a climb and found the cache soon after.
Thanks Dazza1 for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

We enjoyed this multi as we visited the sights and saw some of the history.
With work encouraging us to take some holidays and Mr SKI having quite a few weeks up his sleeve it was time to take another short break and do some sightseeing and caching in parts of Victoria we seldom visit.
This time we decided it would be Ballarat. There is a wide variety of cache types and quite a number of Adventure Labs to do, so the area is quite attractive. And that doesn't include the historical and interest aspects as well.
We organized to meet up with some friends while there so we would have the opportunity to do some joint as well as solo caching.
We have already had some great adventures on a few challenging caches that generated a lot of fun and as usual always good to find some pre-solved puzzles.
All logs signed as SKI Pair, RASP (Rebel Acts & SKI Pair or SP depending on size of logs and availability of space.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Dazza1.

On a drizzly summer morn,
I wandered into this historic cemetery
Never let it be said I was in a hurry to find caches
This one took a while
Waypoint one was duly found,
tombstone read and the next location calculated
A check of the map ...
... oh that can't be right !!
Thomas has a twin,
but the numbers are rather hard to read.
But I got a new set of numbers,
and checked the map again
Hmmm ??!!
Still sus,
so I wandered off back to the geomobile,
with a DNF in hand ...
... hang on a mo !!
There was something waypoint two like over there !!
Booyah !!
Progress
After that stumble,
I found the sign,
the obelsik,
and final coords
Er !!??
As I drove past the coords on the busy A-Road,
I was again wondering if I had got everything right
And in the drizzle from two hundred metres away,
I took a soggy stroll to where GZ lay
Oh this just can't be right
But wadda yer know,
at the coords I sought,
there was a cache,
with a golden lid
Strange place for the final !!
But hey it's there
I s'pose it was also a strange place to find the gold too !!
Thanks to Mr Hiscock for a great cache chase
Fave dance time .... Eureka !!

After undertaking the night cache located close by our party decided to complete this cache. After some minor miscalculations and scepticism of the location of WP2 we found it quickly and continued on.
The final WP did not seem correct to us and we double and triple checked the calculations, they were correct and we went.

After spending some time wandering around Buninyng and Sebastopol earlier today, it was a dark and stormy night by the time we got to GZ.
And thus under those conditions this T1.5 was more like a T3.5, slip-sliding up the embankment. But we got there in the end, and Hiscock rewarded us with a cache and a smilie.
Now, can we get back down without a slippery muddy slide down into the traffic?!
Thanks, Dazza1.

Out caching with Pacman and anikano on a drizzly night in a cemetery. Bit of work involved in this one, final was not what expecting! Thanks for placing
A great multi, very interesting history and to top it off we found an extra cache by going to far at one of the stages TFTC
I was having lunch in Ballarat with an ex-work colleague so instead of driving straight home I decided to try my hand at a few Multi's. This month I am trying to complete a challenge cache that requires an average of one multi a day so that's thirty for the month. Normally I a give the multi a bit of a wide birth but this month that can't happen.
I had made a start on this one while I was on my way before lunch but because of an error missing something in the cache notes, I ran out of time. So I made sure I finished it off after my belly was full.
Thank you Dazza1 for the multi my second one completed for the day

No idea what we did wrong but had to use a PAF on this one who told us what we had wrong. Once that was corrected, a quick find was made. Thanks for the cache.
Today Crank1, Papi4506, GeoTurtle37 and myself headed to the “other” side of Melbourne for a day chasing mainly multi’s and an event. Wow, what a lot of interesting history on Hiscock’s gold find! Thanks so much for placing this cache Dazza1, it was great chasing the history down.
Day trip to West with beckNmonts and papi4506 . The weather was very warm but prefect day for us

Not normally ones for multi stops multis, which might explain why it took us so long to get this one, but what a interesting one it turned out to be, Thanks Dazza1.

It is the start of the day and we are heading off to have adventure. The sign was a little hard to read but we got there. SL TFTC
TFTC. We had spent the night at Smythesdale. Instead of heading back to Maryborough we decided to stay an extra night. This enables us to spend time in Buninyong. Our aim was very specific first and foremost we wanted to find this cache to full in a month on our Ausmere/Jasmere grid. After that yet here was a puzzle with a high D/T that we had solved , this would fill in another positryion on the grid. We had nominated November for our multi month challenge, there were 4 multi available .After that we just found the odd cache as we went by. Happy to say that our aims were achieved . 17 caches found and one DNF.
After having the required final co-ords we drove to near the calculated GZ. A scramble to GZ and the cache was quickly in hand

I'd determined the location of GZ the last time I was in Ballarat but didn't seek out the cache because of a challenge I'm slowly working towards. Today was the day to collect and after parking across the road I made my way to GZ and found....nothing. So, I searched around GZ, then expanded the search radius but drifted back to GZ on a couple of occasions. Finally, after some jiggery pokery a cache was revealed. Phew!
Happened upon this one from a hunch that one would be close by and sure enough I found it lol. TFTC
Found in the company of Claybol and geoAditya, glad for a cooler day as we took the high way rather than the highway.. a calmer more sedate way to get to GZ with traffic wizzing past at a now safe distance. on return to the vehicle we had a chuckle moment with the camera as Claybol couldn't resist taking a photo of where he'd parked the car.. thanks for the cache and the history.
Find #1506 for me. Found with jtnsilo and my son GeoAditya on another visit to Ballarat from Bendigo. I'd been out this way on several previous visits to gather the clues at each of the waypoints, so it was nice to finally complete the cache today. Not wanting to leave my car on the very busy road, I decided to park on a side-street about 300m from GZ and walk the rest of the way. Once there we made a quick find. Thanks for the cache Dazza1 and the journey it took me to many interesting locations on the way!
Happily walked to this one using my walking stick. Even happier with my reward there.
Can't believe just how big that cemetery is.
Enjoyed the challenge today - thanks

After a hiccup or two and initially searching somewhere else, I recalculated and made the find. Thanks for placing.
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch and Dippa46. This took us around a little, especially when we had one number wrong, once that was sorted it was a fairly easy find. Now my inlaws know what an obelisk is. TFTC
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch, Dippa46 and SciFiRulz. I am much better edumicated now on all sorts of things, and may it continue in my caching journey. TFTC and the information therein.
The second find on our "multi"day in Ballarat, and definitely the most enjoyed multi for the day. What an interesting tour this has been! If we could read properly, we would have come to the general area of GZ only once. However, in the glaring sunshine one of us misread "1" where the maths task demanded "I". Ah well, we got there in the end, and we learned something new about those crazy gold-digging times!
Container is no longer as large as stated in the cache notes, but all is in good shape.

I had done some work on this multi another time that I was in the area and thought it was a bout time to collect the final. I was lucky enough to park some what nearby and make the walk to find this one. It was quite dark when I looked so it took me a few goes before I finally found this cache. Signed and replaced as found.
**Thanks for this multi cache, Dazza1** [^]
**Cache container and log good in good condition**
**Took nothing, Left signature**

A bit loose on the Waypoints but a good find in the end with a bit of interesting history along the way
We also left a pen in the cache for future cachers

Loved this multi was very informative and all linked together well. Found with Yogster. TFTC
TFTC. Finally came back to this one today after bypassing it during the last time we were running from zombies in this cemetery. Spent the day caching with Jaggedwings and we found this one a bit of fun to do where we knew we were following the correct coordinates all the time but the path to the GZ threw us a little. If we had of put a bet on the final, based on a few signs in the area, we would have lost the house! A nice multi, just the way I like them with waypoints of interest to keep one moving. Thank you for the effort put into this one Dazza1.
Nice multi solved and found with the help of Dawsi007 and geofriend. This was my second attempt after getting the date wrong on the headstone first time around. NTNL. TFTC
I really enjoyed this multi. The locations we interesting and related to each other. Not the usual for a multi these days, it makes sense that this is a slightly older cache. We picked this cache up at 10:27pm.
Another day of picking up caches nominated for the upcoming Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. SirJ-Oz and I started the day off with a couple of caches before join forces to Annoying Tarbit and also SteMicMitSar for part of the day. We cached until late into the night and I made it home in the early hours. It was a big day, over 19000 steps, but it was worth it!!
Thanks for the cache Dazza1.

Find #2445. Found @ 22:26 with LouiseAnn, Annoying Tarbit and SteMicMitSar.
Today's plan was to travel to Ballarat for a nominated cache adventure. We had way too many caches on the list to actually achieve, but we gave it a go anyway.
The last of the trifecta in the which are pinned in the bone yard. This was a nicely put together multi which provided both entertainment and information.
Annoying Tarbit did the calculations, which SteMicMitSar wrote stuff down. I can't remember who located the container at the end.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

*13/02/2016, Found @ 10:26 PM, Find # 5096.*
Today I headed across to Ballarat to continue my quest to find the caches that have been nominated for the 2015 Victorian caching awards as well as a few others that have good D/T combo's.
After just being attacked by Zombies with Annoying Tarbit, LouiseAnn and SirJ-Oz, we went about finding the other two in this cemetery.
This is a nice little multi and after we worked out which head stone we should be looking at everything went smoothly through the waypoints to the final GZ.
We all made our way up the embankment and Annoying Tarbit was on to this one very quickly, we all signed in and then made our way back to our cars.
**Thanks to *Dazza1* for placing this cache.**

I had a day planned in and around Ballarat focussed on caches nominated for the upcoming awards with Louise Ann, SirJ-Oz and SteMicMitSar. Having done the other caches nearby we gave this one a try. It took us on an unexpected journey but certainly was informative and interesting. I read stuff out here and there but luckily SteMicMitSar was diligent about recording the information which allowed us to proceed. we were travelling in three separate cars by this stage so it took a bit of coordinating to get to the final spot. I was in the right area at the right time to grab the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this great multi cache Dazza1. My 14th and final find on a long day.

After the impromptu assault on the drain caches, I headed south the check out some solved mysteries, complete a couple of multis and pick up some challenge caches I've qualified for. A nice multi! Thanks for the cache, Dazza1.

A quick trip up to Ballarat to attend the local GIFF Event at Lake View Hotel, so why not grab a couple of caches in the local area and convert some caching icons into smiley faces!
Set of a little late but still got there in time to order dinner and then watch all 16 short films about caching
Some good, some you wonder but as long as the company is good along with the food, then all is well!
After doing zombie Apocalypse by night, I still managed to get a set of coords to try out and soon had the cache in hand!
Thanks Dazza1 for the cache and multi

After completing the near zombie apocalypse dbelco, alchey, kumacat, tritonz and 1 decided to do the nearby caches too. We had the wrong answer at wp1, so we kept trying and eventually ended up at gz. Log was signed and replaced - thank you for creating this multi.

Set out to gather the required information with Ninny Muggins, Kumcat and Dbelco. We had a hiccup at the first wpt, we eventually made our way to GZ for another challenge which was soon achieved. With a quick search the cache was found safe and dry. Signed and replaced as found.

Out and about today with master 4 attempting to get some caches on the other side of town from us. I had done the groundwork on this over a year ago and finally made the find today. Many thanks for an interesting cache
Found with Kenare and Sean.75.
3X Geokids.
Cache in good order.

We came to try this 1 a lil while ago but geokid had her cranky pants on!! Today, however, she was super excited to have a crack so with the help of newts943 n Sean.75 we converted it to a smile!! Tftc
The call for help came from Kenare today, so i met up with her, Newts943 and geokids. With a bit of brain power and know how the log was signed and we were on our way. Tftc.
At around 2.30pm today, we were sitting in Maccas Wendouree with Wozzle68, lamenting how we had planned and travelled and tried to fulfill the Multicache Monthly challenge, but had only achieved 20 of the required 31 for this month. Nothing had gone to plan. Oh well, never mind. "Whadya mean never mind" said Wozzle, "Go get them now". For some reason, we didn't slap him around the head, but instead we filtered our map to show there were still 13 multis in Ballarat awaiting us, some of which were half started or printed out. We only needed 11.
So this was number 7 of our Mad Multi Dash (woohoo over half way now). This one was one of the longer ones, but thanks to the majority of the previous ones being simple offsets, we were able to enjoy the historical significance of this cache. (And yes, we still managed to achieve the goal and be at the pub for a counter tea before the meals shut).
Thanks for the multi and for bringing us here Dazza1.

This was another high quality cache thanks Dazza1 I enjoyed the local history lesson, very interesting thanks, +1
This multi has been annoying us for quite some time, sitting on the map as we drive into Ballarat each time to visit family, so today was the day we were determined to turn it into a smiley.
After gathering all our information and working through the wpt's, we as previous team's have mentioned, wondered if we had made a mistake until we had the cache in our sights.
Thanks Dazza1 for the history and the cache.

This was quite an enjoyable information gathering exercise but I did wonder when I approached GZ. Turned out all was good though and I got my reward with another multi smilie. TFTC Dazza1
Cache zombified.
Enjoyed learning about the history of the area while collecting the waypoints. Cache in good order.
TFTC from ZombieCats.

Wow our first multi cache fantastic thanks and our 18th find (actually started 22/2 but geokid fell asleep after a big weekend playing lol so finished today) TFTC
This was a frustrating multi. Two options at the 1st way point and then nowhere very safe to park at GZ. Glad to have this one signed sealed and delivered. Found with FUF009 while in Ballarat for the weekend. Tftc
Find # 1840 @ 1352 H
Found with sharkiefan
Spending the weekend in Ballarat, decisions were made to hit the Buninyong area and see how many smilies we could rack up.
With a couple of possibilities to make wp2 made this a bit of a mission to succeed. but common sense prevailed and we were soon on our way. but then the drama of parking to grab the cache was a bit iffy too. in the end we were glad to have made the find with no major hick ups.

Set out early today with the goal to double our total. This one had us stumped yesterday as we drove straight past the obelisk and continued down the road and came across 2 plaques about Thomas Hiscock which made solving the last puzzle quite difficult and frustrating. We gave up and headed home, saw the obelisk on the way out but thought it was unrelated. Went back and checked my numbers and realised we drove past it. So we grabbed the numbers and made this our first find out of 75 for the day. TFTC Dazza1
A nice multi to break up the stop on our caching adventure with Tardis Trio.
Thank Dazza1 for the find.

We were out caching with Team Scoobster around this area yesterday and started this one. Today we finished it. A nice history lesson.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Dazza1.

Finally got a chance to find this one after a day out in Lara with Sully1. This has a lot of history involved and is well worthy of it's cache. A tough ascent up the slippery slope had me earning the smiley too. Thanks Dazza1
Having sorted out the two traditional caches located in the cemetery and found the first WPT, it was time to finish this guy off. After correcting a small error I visited the sign then the obelisk and then GZ and signed the log making this my third find of the day and enjoying the history lesson along the way. I love history and cemeteries so this was good fun!
Thanks Dazza1 !

Found today with Stormhorse. Lovely day to be out geocaching. Great history lesson.
This has been sitting on my radar almost since I started caching. Found this at last today after the Maker Madness event at the Bunny Gardens. Cache was in perfect condition, although I note that it is no longer a 5 litre container as stated in the description. Thanks to Dazza, I always love a bit of history, and learning something, this cache ticked all those boxes. TNLNSL. Cheers, Leese.
