Yes, yes I know this one is archived, but the container is still there in the garden bed. Contents look particularly nasty and if I had known that this cache had been archived I would have brought it home.
We were wandering through the gardens after a visit to the Tanks Markets and we walked past the spot and I remembered we had a DNF at that spot. Peered into the space and noticed a suspicious looking bit of plastic pipe.

Looks like this one has been muggled.

Quick and easy find. 4th Cache for the day. First time walking through the Botanical Gardens and I will absolutely be coming back when I am next here. Just amazing. Thankfully there were few muggles to cause any problems today.

Moved cache location due to it being too close to the gardeners hose etc. Now in a more secluded area that should make finding it a breeze.

Found this ages ago pre-movement sometime December
Very wet to sign. Maybe because it was situated near the bubbler back then, but I don't know now…

Tried this one on 5th of march just before we could read that is needed some repairs. Didn't find any more reflectors once we were in the garden. Thought we saw one small reflector on a tree but after a closer look it was a spider. Great atmospere for a cache!
Must have just been cache blind today. In between muggles we searched every nook and cranny and branch but no luck.. we will return
Found without any trouble once some muggles moved on to look at some other sights. What a beautiful garden!
Great start to my weekend in NQ. I love these gardens and try to stroll through them every time I visit "The Deep North". Log book a little damp. TFTC
Found this cache which geobuddy Adreilly whilst on holidays in Cairns. The Botanical Gardens are absolutely beautiful and lucky for us, the corpse flower was blooming too - something you don't get to see very often. Thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here.
PS. The cache has gotten a bit soggy, so may need a bit of weather proofing.

#366 Ha! you came and made a FTF on my cache Willowbank Park recently.
We were up in Port Douglas for the last few days and came down to Cairns on Sunday morning to spend the morning there. Came to the Botanical Gardens after leaving Rusty's markets. I was going crazy with all the munzees around here, but managed to fit this cache in as well. Due to reading the description and hint and previous logs, I was pretty sure I had the cache. Got to GZ and there were some muggles nearby. I managed to grab it without making too much of a commotion and then signed the log. I replaced the cache as the muggles were leaving so I didn't have any problems putting it back.
Thanks for the cache Spinmeout! TBs visited

4 of 6 for the day. Spending more time eating and drinking than geo caching methinks - teenage grandsons take a lot of looking after. Another very interesting cache. TNLN SL TFTC
GPSr led to the wrong side of the stream but we soon found the "refreshment" stand. Found with the help of our local cousins. My first find in Australia. Thanks for the hunt.
Ha got a little wet by accident, stashed a glow stick tight fit! Clever container!
Hey. Found it after I walk the Rain Forest Walk, the Botanic Gardens and the Red Walk Track to the Mountain. Tftc
We found the cache lying unhidden near the coordinates on the earth. We've put it between the stones of the “refreshing place“ ...we hope that was its original location!

Not sure if this cache is still in its original position but its current location defiantly doesn't match the description! I had to leave the path to retrieve it. Not far off the path but still off a little.

Plenty of muggles enjoying the botanical splendor today. Great gardens and walking trails to be had. Well worth the visit. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC!
Sister vombatus made a quick grab and found the cache. What a nice place everyone should visit during a stay in Cairns. TFTC

Standing looking and pondering the universe I heard the words not cache looks forward to. "SECURITY SIR" - oh dear what had I done , what am I going to say. Then he goes on - "just letting you know the gates shut in 10 minutes and can you please make your way out." Yes, I was evicted from the park but not due to caching. Fortunately I managed to grab the cache before my 10 minutes ran out.
Found with Kool Running while visiting from the South Coast of WA. Nice cache found a lovely walk into the gardens. Easy find after resorting to the hint as GZ was a bit out.
Found some months ago but must have forgotten to log it. Fortunately remembered exactly where as this one stumped me before. Watch out for the water pressure of the nearby feature! TNLN TFTC.
Up from Tassie enjoying a couple of warm weeks in FNQ. The Botanic Gardens are a great place to learn a bit about the local flora. Lots of muggles here, but stood around pretending to look at our map while we searched for the cache, works everytime!! TFTC.
Found while in Cairns, on our travels around Australia.
A quick find, with no muggles in view.
Thanks for the cache, Spinmeout.

2192. The last one on my morning stroll. An easy find with no muggles around. The rain may have helped in that regard. TFTC.
Many many muggles out and about. After patiently waiting for an interruption in the flow I zipped in a grabbed it. Then had to wait to put it back.

After a while there was a muggle free intermezzo and I took the opportunity to have a better look. And there it was!
A couple of laps of the red arrow to wake up then time for a spot of caching. This was my second attempt at this cache with my friend and we found it! TFTC
Today we visit the Botanical Gardens of Cairns, We traveled by bus from Cairns
to the location aand we dropped of between two busstations. It,s impossible
to get out of the bus between two busstops in The Netherlands. But here it's a extra service of the locals
The area here is very beautifull and so we've enjoyed it and made a lot of
pictures there. After doing that we take a lunch on the restaurant in the
Garden and fresh of all we find this cache after a short search.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining it in this very nice area

Easy and qucik find, although it was quite muddy, rainy and slippery. At least there were no muggles at all.
Thanks for grading up my visit at the botanic gardens !

I didn't think it was that humid until I landed myself in amongst the most beautiful tropical gardens I have seen. What a great place and I can see why the locals get to here so often.
With pack in hand I made my way into the depths of the forest in search of the prize.
Fortunately muggle traffic was a bit slower today so I was able to use that to my advantage. All that was left now was to fend off the aggressive pushy scrub turkey. Using my imagination (as cachers are famous for) he turned and admitted defeat. I wanted the cache more than he wanted me - lol

On a week long trip to Cairns and Innisfail. Began today with caches near to our accommodations. Weather much drier than yesterday in Brisbane! Good location, quick find. Quite clever, nearly missed it.

A lot of work has been done in the area so please replace the cache so that it is not discovered accidentally.
All good to go.

Hi Spinmeout. Please check on this one as there have been recent path and irrigation work in the area. Perhaps this is why I could not find it? Drop me a message if all is good please so I can try again. Thanx.
We will disable for now, until we can confirm cache is still in play.
Keep posted!

Probably took a little while longer than it should have. Was looking for something smaller than actual. Here and next door have some good birds including Papuan Frogmouth, Little Kingfisher, Fig parrots, Lovely Fairy-wren, and there have been recent reports of Rufous Owl.
A somewhat quik find by whilst mrsbiggles58 was at an appointment. Waited for a bus load of Korean tourists to take endless photos off a refreshment spot before the GZ was logged. SL TNLN TFTC
Tried a couple of times to approach this one but there were workers digging up GZ and replacing a water storm drain thingy. Hope its still there.
No wonder we DNF it two times before it was not even there saw that you replaced it and found it put the log book in a small zip loc bag incase any water were to get in there TFTC
We were out today checking on our caches, this one had not been reported as missing, but we were going to replace the cache container anyway.
Arrived at GZ to find a lot of cleaning has been done in the gardens close by and the cache was missing. I am guessing it has been taken away in the garden waste. Throughly checked the area, but could not find the cache. Luckily we had a spare logbook and pencil, and container to replace it.
Have reinstalled it to its original spot and hidden it better. Please rehide it as found, so that it doesn't get muggled again.
