The stump this cache was placed under rotted and washed away years ago. According to the logs, the original container is also long gone. Location needs to be opened up for a new cache to be placed by an active player.
Had a good look but came up empty handed after a solid search. Upon reflection it is possible that the last log was for a different cache, given the lack of sculptures here. Thanks for an interesting stroll anyway
Interesting sculpture, nice quick find. All is good with the cache now. TFTC
This cache needs some attention, there have been a number of DNF's over an extended period. Can the owner please disable this one while you confirm if it still exists?
Had a good look around. The last 5 attempts by others also came up empty, so maybe it is no longer there.
Well this one has me stumped!
Tickled the toes of many uprights near GZ. Much mirth but none revealed the location of the elusive cache. Perhaps the lush regrowth has eaten it...

Nice day for a walk, early morning. Unfortunately no platypuses in sight in this part of the river, (although one was seen down-stream the same day). No sign of any stump, even searching widely. Unless it was covered by a rampant creeper.
Found it with larry the looter. Out for the day looking at the local prize home. A beautiful part of the world. Tftc.
We both had a couple of days break from work so Dannza and I decided to spend our time catching up while caching. Lovely walks and coffees in the rain in this beautiful area. TFTC and apologies for the late log.
Walking the track in Town. Made Maintenance. If Co could go and have a look. Tftc
TFTC. Stumped me a little at first. Didn't write on the log. It's a little rusty and sodden. Could use a ziplock bag.
Found this one while the kids were playing at the library park. Definitely could use a new container. Look out for the frilled lizards. No platypus spotting yet.
Nice walk by the river and found the cache but log was very damp so didn't write on it, didn't want to damage the log.
Nice quiet area by the river. Still popular with muggles taking dogs for a walk. TFTC
Log still soggy, probably because a rusty Eclipse tin isn't very watertight. Nice spot here by the creek and always great to visit Maleny. Thanks for the cache.
Found one tree then another and got the spot pretty quickly. Log wet but managed to get my name on it.
Spending the day in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The cache was located quickly but the log needs to be replaced. It was very wet. TFTC and Happy Easter
Found the cache - couldnt take the log out without ripping it so photo log it. TFTC
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Took a bit of a search to find. Log book is ruined so we popped a bit of paper in it to keep it going for a bit.
Thanks for placing The olly's!

Second find of the day with no signable log! Cache was more trash than anything else. And I forgot to pack my cache maintenance kit.
Found but not signed.

Embarking on new adventures for a new year. In Maleny for New Year's 2015/16 & resolved to geocache this year as another way of enjoying the outdoors. Happy 2016! TFTC
My very first GeoCache find! Nice easy one with a coffee and croissant in hand to boot. A great way to start the New Year off - that's one resolution ticked! Now to lose 10kg....
There was some kids near by who had found it weeks before. We didn't end up being able to find it.... Will try again next week
Found. Paper wet as... Couldn't log. New paper required and a waterproof container. My boy still happy as he got to trade 3 treasures
The log was extremely wet, it was also not in a film container but an eclipse tin and rather than being in a stump we found it in a tree folk. I would suggest cleaning out & water proofing your cache container so that the log and other contents will stay dry. TFTC.
TFTC. This one needs a bit of maintance done. A pleasent little spot for a walk & caching.
Having enjoyed a pleasant lunch in town we strolled along the river to this park. Mr. Grundie led us to GZ where the cache was soon located. Logbook very soggy but we managed to mark our initials. TFTC.
No trouble today as we enjoyed a walk after lunch at the artisans market and all the locals and visitors were at the music festival. Log was very soggy but managed to make our mark TFTC
First ever cache. Beautiful location. If you're lucky you'll also spot a platypus. We weren't on the day unfortunately. Cache not in a film cannister anymore. Someone has moved it into a gum cannister.
TFTC! Looking forward to my next one tomorrow.

After the big boys had a look at the muscle cars show and shine at the show grounds the kids and I decided to look for this cache as it was pretty busy up in Maleny yesterday. This was a lovely walk along the Obi Obi creek. Found with mini mooses. Thanks for the cache

Having parted company, after a great morning with Spinna76, Stacevel, & *SuzySquirrel* at the Muscle on the Mountain Car Show at the Maleny Showground, we decided to clean up a few more Maleny caches before heading back south.
It was quite busy here, muggle central, but having just found a nearby cache we decided to stroll over to this one rather than attempt finding another empty car space.
Other than a muggle couple with a couple of youngsters having a bite to eat we were clear for action.
A quick find followed.
All signed & replaced as found.

Visiting Maleny for the weekend. What a great walk along the creek. Quiet today, no muggles. Cache found, signed and replaced. Thanks for showing me this area of Maleny. TFTC
Finally found it. Cache was very wet. Paper wet. Left a small piece of card to write on. Sorry we didn't have any spares with us. TFTC
Great hide. . . TFTC. out geocaching with spinyleafinsect mirikochan and Sphir3.
Out for a day of geocaching with geomum (jones.gang) and the geosisters (mirikochan and spineyleafinsect). We started around 9am this morning near Kenilworth and just making it up as we went.
Quick find!

A sunny day after four or more rainy type days.
So we head to the hills, Maleny way.
The log book was a ball of wet paper, so I removed it.
And add a sheet of paper from comback notebook.
A new logbook needed.
Out caching with comback.
Thank you for the hide

Very disappointing we found this out in open. Container damaged and log soaking. We have left a new container and log but couldn't find exact location so hid at S 026°45.664, E 152°51.192. Feel free to move back to original location if you know it. Lots of water comes through here in the rain. Hopefully it's high enough.

Well, a bit of a search. Hint is a little misleading. Think like a thesaurus. Tftc
Went to the Maleny Wood Expo this day, and stopped by to find this cache. Damn Telstra connection was useless, but an easy find as it was placed accurately. Container is not water tight. Recent heavy rain has ruined the log.
Omg sooooo funny.... i let the troops wonder in and have a look for this guy (completely in the wrong location
Thanks for the adventure we had for this one.....as we got close to the GZ we noticed a big water dragon sitting motionless near the bank of the creek. We all thought initially that this was the cache until his eyes followed us hahaha. I tried to stealthily pass him by but next minute he made a beeline for our daughter and it ran over her foot (giving her a small scratch for good measure lol) Was so funny, took us all a while to be able to compose ourselves. TFTC!!
Log was soaked and unusable.....replaced with a small square of paper we had handy but log will need replacing asap
