No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
Shortly after the CITO event in March 2009, National Parks and Wildlife removed all the caches they could find from this area. given the date of last find, I have no doubt that this was one of the swiped caches.
Time to put the listing to bed.

Owners haven't been online since Sept 2010 and there's been no response for a month. Is it time to archive?
Stopped for a look today but nothing obvious. Seems it's been missing for some time, maybe the owners should check it out and/or disable it.

same searched both sides of road, only found litter, some baits ? on the ground, and tripods supporting trays . . .
Tried to find this one. Searched both sides of the road. May need a check as there hasn't been a find after the recent road works. Some strange looking insect catching devices spread throughout the area.
Thankfully this cache was pulled from its new position as almost a part of the road - I don't think I would have found it there!! Nice easy find now. So long as you look on the right side of the road TFTC
The nearby dust monitoring stations had a job to do today!
Found with posthaste, TFTC.

While participating in the CITO event we logged this cache while collecting rubbish along the way. TFTC
Found with Gunnie69, Australnaughts and Lat&Long Junkie.
I was not happy when we arrived at what our GPS's were saying was GZ, yet to turn over every log in sight and find nothing... [:(!]
We tried a different area, and when I was looking under a log - I turned around and spotted it in a nice and cosy blanket of dirt and rubble... [I)]
Everyone happily conducted business and we all went our temporary ways to head towards the CITO cache...

Found after the CITO event. Thank goodness there was another cacher around who told us that the clue was no longer accurate. Cache was at least 20m from the published co-ords. This is a very busy road on a Sunday morning! TNLNSL. TFTC.
This cache was lucky to be found today. It was just visible under a pile of dirt pushed off the road by a grader. The log in the hint is no longer a feature. The cache has been placed in a nearby receptacle that will attract the attention of anyone with a geocaching mindset. These co-ordinates should get you pretty close S27°28.319 E152°55.562. Many thanks to Gunnie69 and co for this find. We'd searched the wrong side of the road at first and the correct side wasn't looking too flash until those magic words "here it is" came shimmering through the heat and dust. TN/LN/SL.
Silver Sovereign and I meanderred up to grab this one after completing our stretch of ground for the CITO.
As we approached GZ, Australnaughts anf family was right on top of it and suggested that they were 4m out according to their GPS. We had a similar reading.
On with the hunt and a good 5 mins of no joy. Lat&long arrived on the scene and joined us in the hunt. After a couple of mins, L&LJ recited something about the cache being on the eastern side of the track. Did you say EAST??? Yep, so over the road we went... A couple of minutes hunting was concluded with a "Found it" from Silver Sovereign. It was just visible under the rubble.
The hunters conducted secret caching business and the cache was container was tucked away in a new den. ***Refer to Lat&Long Junkies log for coordinates.
Cahce is alive and well despite it's rough ride of late.
Cheers

Found this one after the CITO event. Fortunately I had overhead Lat & Long junkie describing his "find" this morning so was able to zero in a cache's new home. TFTC
Found in the company of Lat & Long Junkie Gunnie 69 and Silver Sovereign. Silver Sovereign actually fount it, we just hung around and signed the log. TFTC.
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 10:10am. What dust!! could hardly see where I was walking and everything covered in it. Found after a short search. TFTC
After a small search located the cache. TNLN. Introduced a friend to it. Well he got a GPS and I was showing him how to use it. This was our second day out and I think he has got a handle on how to use the GPS now. He does enjoy the caching.
easy find as the hide had rolled over and was exposed. Placed it back in its original position. Cache in very good condition although can't say the same for myself. Still have dust in my ears. Took photo no 25 (blue sunnies).
Finally I did. Took a while just very well disguised. That dust has a lot to answer for.
What's this "i did it" thing....hmmmm. After doing all the hard work, the Witchpig takes all the credit. Sheez.
Thanks for the cache.

Don't know how we missed it first time around but we went back this morning with better light and less dust and soon made the find. No swaps. TFTC.
Found with Rastas this afternoon. We were relying on his GPS, as ours had flat batteries. The co-ordinates seemed a bit off to us, and we resorted to the clue. Had the cache in hand soon after that. Contents are dry and in good condition. Thanks for the cache!
It took a lot of chasing to cache this cache today on the bike [:o]
I spent an enjoyable hour riding up and down the local mountain bike trails this morning trying to find the one that led to GZ
After much exercise I ended back at the top of the hill on Gap Creek Road where I had started. It seems the only ways to this cache are a bushbash or an unpleasant bike ride eating dust kicked up by the high speed traffic on a corrugated dirt road unless you have a car [:o]
Arriving at GZ I hoped to find the cache quickly. A fine haze of dust hung over everything. After about 10 minutes there was the prize
Also of interest at GZ were all the collection trays mounted on tripods and animal traps scattered about. Obviously some scientific research happening here too
TFTC.

A 'popular' spot this afternoon. With road works going on the 'flag man' was standing directly opposite the 'entrance'. When I returned he asked what I'd been up to. "Just checking on waypoints for an orienteering course" was my reply...he seemed more than satisfied with that.
Nice easy find (using PV's coords)
Thanks
It was a quick detour to Gap Creek Road this afternoon and cache found as the peak hour started gaining momentum. Plan B was needed but the cache was spotted, log signed, and I averaged a mark at GZ at
S27° 28.318
E152° 55.560
No swaps. Thanks Ky and Woody.

I can go home 3 ways, this is the longest, but the other 2 have no FTF on the way. I came back after work with the revised clues and coordinates. It still took a little searching to find. I have listed the coordinates where I found the cache, maybe someone can confirm them.

I think that the difficulty/terrain is a little high, I would think it is a 1.5/2.
perhaps I need a better GPS given the tree cover? Guess the little Nokia 6110 isnt as good as it claims Ill ask TheUMP to correct the coords - appreciate the heads up, and congrats on FTF
After having a great day clearing out this area. I was logging "Eucalypts", when I saw a cache that wasn't there today. Well I had a perfect smiley face part of the map there now (except "X", but that's another story!!!).
I uploaded the coordinates and raced off, I would get to use my new headlamp .
When I arrived at GZ I saw another car, a voiced called out and it was Ma Freaks, PA Freaks was about but he was searching a bit further a field. I joined up and checked GZ according the coordinates, no luck, drifting a wider net still didn't help. We searched several possible hiding places, but eventually we decided to give up.
This area is very very dusty. All those cars send up so much dirt that it covers the whole area, grass trees, old bottles, it is an interesting place.
But, no luck on a find tonight

Caching tragics that we are, we couldn't help heading out in the dark to look for this one having had a quiet caching weekend otherwise. But it turned out to be a wild goose cache (to quote M.F.) We found GZ just off the road but couldn't find the hide. As we widened the search, a car pulled up and out hopped totalube who joined in but, despite checking quite a few places, we still had no success.
We did find lots of other things in the area. There are several tripods with trays of marbles held above head height (immediate thought was a K8'n'Co cache). If anybody knows what they are then I'd be interested to know! In another spot there was a series of tubes connected to trees. And, sadly, the bush just next to the obvious parking spot seems to have been used as a tip by the less thoughtful amongst us.
So, no luck tonight. Perhaps in daylight it might be a different matter. Thanks for the hunt.
