Spending a couple of days camping and exploring the beautiful Riverland. Perfect sunny weather for it. The roads are a little quieter now Easter weekend is finished.
I crossed the ferry and visited a couple of caches around Lyrup. I was really impressed with the river side grassed reserve near the ferry. A nice place to stop for a cuppa.
Quick find at GZ.
Thanks for the cache Jardry.

Based in Mildura with fellow geocaching -buddies Suscoe, today we headed westward and crossed that infamous border and enjoyed a day of caching around Renmark and Berri. Interesting to learn the origin of the place names.
Thanks 'Jardry' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Suscoe headed out today from Mildura for a trip to Renmark and Berri and back again.
We were in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We covered well over 360 kilometres on this trip and we saw a wide variety of countryside from sand drifts, to cropping land to scrub and beautiful green orchards and grape vines.
We saw quite a few different varieties of birds and saw the magnificent Murray River from different perspectives.
It was a much cooler day today with clouds breaking up the sunshine from time to time.
Thanks to Jardry for this hide, it is always nice to wander around a cememtery and see a little of the history of the area being visited.

Nice easy find while making our way back to Mildura after a weekend caching the Riverland and attending an event in Loxton yesterday. Having read previous logs we came prepared and have put in a new logbook. TFTC
Very quiet out here. Fruit blocks as far as the eye can see looking back towards where we parked the cache. Cache found in good condition. Logbook is getting full. TFTC
Must have been windy recently all flowers flown away. Walked around picking them up then found some places that had none.
Log book full. Went back in time around 2009 and found a space for my stamp

6180 found by baby&Mrs gopher on our way to The Alice Event with fizzgig&lyric and CastleKay at 1205. Pulled up and walked the dirt farm track and came onto the cemetery from the back fence. We should have drove down the hill just a bit further. SL Tnx Jardry .
Spending a couple of days in the riverland grabbing a few caches with Gwen from The X-Trailers and Liz, earthlight, hooked up the boat for some water caches and bought along my recently purchased Rapala Waders, a lot of laughs along the way and although not as many caches as we would have liked we managed to get quite a few of the harder to get ones on and in the water. TFTC
What a neat and tidy little cemetery, very warm and dry, even in June - thanks Jardry
Out for a day caching with LLL51 taking me to some great places I had never been. [^] There certainly are lots of wonderful views to be experienced and caches to be found.
Another interesting and well kept cemetery.
Thanks for the cache Jardry.

Beautiful, peaceful area. Found the cache, evicted a spider from the container. TFTC
Good hiding spot, a beautiful tranquil place. Was nice to explore and we cleaned up the graves a little also.
Time for a cache maintenance run along the wandering heroes trail in cahoots with Aussie M&M, CP Wanderer and Clare007. That done it was off to the Loxton Pub for lunch. [^] That done it was time for repay CP and grab a few he needed and a few more besides.
We went'n'did this cache. And grabbed the TB to boot from this boot hill.
Thanks Jardry for the cache.

After too many months(even years) of not being able to travel due to health issues, we finally hooked up the van and headed off.
After enjoying the benefits of free camping(and power) we continued on, stopping at the cemetery for a quick find and sign.
The orchards across the way wee a blaze of pink and white.
Lovely.

After awaking to the rain from overnight we ummed and ahhhed about moving today from Plush's bend. Mrs Felix had suggested it was a good move yesterday but ya know Mr Felix said 'she'll be right' On wakening today and not being able to walk 100metres without growing tall he was reconsdiring. [B)]
After a spin in the Geocruiser, decision was made to 'get the hell out of here' ...... if we could....
Well all hitched up and mostly okay but at least 60seconds of hear fail we were safe..... now where to...[?] We managed to get to Lyryp and the free camp so have set up here. Although that was not th end of our day with a trip to Berri then Renmark for tyre repairs.
Never the less we did stop here to make a find to continue our GeoStreak. We had a great chat to some locals at he Lyrup club and most had not even been here! How we dont' know. Great work here in 2012. And thanks for the camp site.
Awesome work here in this region and nice spot to highlight with a geocache, all things we love about Geocaching.
