We are getting out of the cache owning business, so we are archiving this cache now. We do not geocache as much as we did and do not have the time to keep up proper maintenance.
So we will free up a few spots around Hamilton.
I visited this one early today and found it in exactly the right spot, though the immediate area has changed over the cache's lifetime.

2 of us spent at least 20mins trying to find this one, found what we thought might be things from the cache, looks like it has gone
Found the cache after a very good look around. Found the clue was good if you did not over think it. Travel bugs were missing, Thanks enjoyed the visit.
This crop had been hiding away quietly and was missed by the other two farm boys but after some digging around the seed was found and we manage to get sign the log and plant it back. Nice hide.

Out collecting a whole heap of solved puzzles with mike-miss and snakelion. Took a rather leisurely approach to get to GZ and when we got there nothing seemed to reveal itself at our final coordinates. No one around to put us off though so we split up and carried on looking with snakelion making the find in a pretty likely looking spot we'd initially discounted... Nice area, TFTC
Solved this one prior to our trip down to Hamilton for the day with snakelion and evilno9. Enjoyed the walk to this one! Made it a little harder on approach to GZ but that all added to the fun! Cache found a considerable distance from our final coordinates after a brief search. Cache well stocked and nice and dry. TFTPC!
I liked this puzzle (I understood it) and we saved up visiting it for one of our lunchtime walks. Left the farmers wife's child. TFTC
Nice easy puzzle but cache took a little longer to find but got there GZ bit out but the clue worked TFTPC
Nice puzzle, cache took longer but got there in the end; we're learning to ALWAYS take the hint along for northwood hides! Tftc
had solved sometime ago but finally made the effort for the grab, great puzzle, enjoyed the old rhymes, TFTC
I went and checked this today. There has been some work in the area and I thought it might have gone, but there it was. Perhaps terrain 1.7 rather than 1.5
Cache in good condition. I have updated the clue because of the changes...

The only terrain 1.5 hint item I could find bears nothing. Might pay to have a look at this one.
Walked around from the "Chirp" cache to this one and made an easy find. Out and about grabbing some caches with the Team Welsh crew. Thanks.
Had a few in the area to collect and this was found in the company of Trout-fly. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache
Yay!!!! #200.
15th cache for the day. I had to do the big cache hunt to get 200 by the end of the weekend.
Puzzle was fun, brought back some memories. TFTC

With a correctly solved puzzle this time, the find was made without a problem TFTC.
Found it at last, despite my phone's propensity for pointing at the opposite side of the dell from where I was, which forced me to use some reasoning. Unfortunately it seems that the Geobota TB is missing, and possibly has been for some time. TFTC -- it's been a thorn in my side for a long time; it's great to finally check it off. I'll visit again soon and pop another TB into it -- I forgot to bring one along with me.
Solved puzzle, got to calculated final spot. Obviously have incorrectly solved puzzle. Will do rework.
We visited today expecting to not find the cache and archive this one. But the cache is in place right where we placed it. However, after standing back and looking at the placement again, we have updated the clue...
[Had another go this morning; gave up after about 45 minutes. My phone, for some absurd reason, decreases the last digit of the South coordinate down by one (but /only/ for that coordinate), so that makes it a bit harder.
Anyway, I searched all around where Google Maps, and my radar, shows the cache to be, and couldn't turn up anything. The hint suggests that it's hidden] in a log on the ground, beneath the trees. [Also visited on Sunday with someone else, and still couldn't find it. Maybe it's not there any more? I've checked the poem on Wikipedia, and I'm sure that the coordinates are correct.]

I spent about two hours thrashing around for it, and eventually gave up in disgust, and because I was covered in sand and dirt. Maybe it's too well hidden. The clue points to several areas that it could be hidden, and my phone's accuracy is a bit hopeless when I'm close to it. I did a lot of climbing around, and got nothing but dirty for it. Very frustrating and disappointing.
We finally went and checked this after the DNF. The cache was unfortunately gone. We have replaced it with a 2L camo painted Sistema. Please recover well.
Went and searched for this cache with cosclan who had already found this one. Was unable to locate it. May have been muggled?
#121 Had to go buy an umbrella before doing this one as ours had just become completely useless. Almost threw a tantrum when the GPS became faulty and refused to stay on for more than a second (batteries just replaced, so couldn't be flat). Despite all this, we were determined to find the cache and walked there without an ounce of hesitation (luckily we had checked Google maps before this particular one as we didn't know how to access the park). Made sure the umbrella always stayed above the cache while signing the log to avoid it getting humid. TFTC
Yes, a nice little spot. A nice easy walk once I finally located somewhere to park.

A bit of a walk to this one thru the heavy rain. We didn't seriously start slipping and sliding until we crossed the road.
Fortunately we had solved the puzzle correctly, and it was an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

No problems with your puzzle but parking nearby wwas always going to be hard.
in the end we compromised parking between a couple of caches and walking in here.
Thanks Northwood

Did the puzzle sometime ago, when out today and found it very wet getting there thanks for the cache.
Soon had cache found. Pleased as I don't do well with puzzles. SL Thanks for setting up this cache.
Solved this ages ago, Mr P parked illegally and I wandered off to find the cache. Being in a rush I waded streams, fell down banks and used some logic to find the cache. Got back to a lecture from Mr P about not going caching in the bush by myself. T4tc.
Well "Hi ho a merry oh" found cache, puzzle was straight foward, at 5am this morning it did take some finding the right way to attack this cache, battled the forrest then found the easy return!, be a lot easyer in the day light! TFTC!! Cheers Muzy Man!
Full wet weather gear required for this one as we arrived during a deluge. GPS reception was not the best due to the weather but we eventually found the cache T4TC.
Puzzle solved easily some time ago, finding how to get to GZ for an out-of-towner was the hard part! So after an aborted attempt yesterday and a quick overnight check of Google Maps we returned today for a quick and easy find. TFTC

2nd go at this one after finding the right version of the rhyme, which too us to a totally different location
Quick Easy Puzzle. Arrived at GZ after a short run and quickly tracked down the cache. TFTC
In the Waikato today to collect a bunch of solved puzzle caches. Easy to work out the co-ords for the final, not so easy to figure out how to reach it. Eventually found a good place to park, and walked to the lovely little Dell. Nice spot. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

Took a while to find out how to get to area, very secluded location and nicely hidden. Took Duck TB to go to beach up north this weekend.
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 796. Thanks.
What a delightful spot! If it hadn't been raining I'd have explored further. NINO, TFTC
Very secluded spot for a cache, can't see many people coming in here! Cheers Gav [4654]

Always wondered how to get here.

First find for the day, although I had a bit of a maths error and had to result in a wider search.
But logic found the hide. Approached from event centre across the road.
Soon found we were not alone here..popular place

With all the comments about mud thought I was in the wrong place on this beautiful day. Found OK in the end TFTC
Could almost swim to GZ with all that rain today.
Took the sort of direct approach to the final.
Quick find at GZ.

aswome little park, have always wondered how to get there and what it is like to walk around. heaps of potential for more hides. thanks for the hide
After a bit of creek jumping found it easily enough. Once we found the cache realised we could have got there by a much easier route, but it was an enjoyable walk nonetheless!
Decided to check this one out today, since we'd completed the puzzle a few days ago. The GPS had trouble directing us by road, but once we decided to stop and park and put the GPS into offroad mode, we were soon on the right track. Really, nice little spot. Dropped off a couple of TBs. Sponge Bob & Yoshi.
Wow great spot tucked away so close to so many. Added an animal to the growing farm! TFTC
Easy find after a bit of a mission to get there. What a lovely place. Left TB TFTC
Beaut dell. Once again, didn't know it was here. in- shellz shell, out- butternut laptop TB. TFTC.
Met a friend of ours on the way to the GZ introduced him to caching and may start take his kids out on treasure hunts! Easy find left TB and laptop coin.
Third attempt to find a place to park. Came today in the holiday period and had no trouble. Quick find thank you. David
Found it with ease after fixing a counting glitch on our first attempt led us on a wild goose chase to nowhere! Nice GZ TFTC
Nice find today, interesting spot, been to the area before for another cache. TNLN, TFTC

For some reason the TT team made getting to this harder than it should have been. Oh well, a nice walk. Great area for a cache, and the way back was much easier!!! Dropped off Jeep TB. TFTC
Quick easy find, did puzzle sometime ago waiting for the chance to find. In Tini Teddy Bear toy, Out nothing,
Biggest problem was where to park. Large tree down very close to GZ, stretches right across the dell for those who have been there. Needed the clue for this one as my indicated was in the middle of the fallen tree.

CO-Ords a wee bit off for this one, we were left 'outstanding in our field' haha but used the clue to find the cache

Nice puzzle. However getting to the cache straight from one close by was not as straight forward as I thought it was going to be.

Quick find, puzzle solved from afar and our co-ords were spot on. Thankfully there was a break in the rain. A quick stop-over cache while heading north.

Have travelled past this site many times. Area is much more extensive than I would have guessed. Cache was easily located, once we'd found our way to GZ.

All the farmers today were out at fieldays, and it's NOT raining or foggy - a rare occurence.
Thanks to psychrn's spoiler log we knew that our calculations were correct. But we were actually on the wrong track, as we found ourselves approaching from the wrong side of the dell. Crossed over the muddy area, and then it was an easy find.
Left "Thrill of the hunt" geocoin. Thanks for the fun.
