Checked the cache out, but couldn't find it myself.
Looks like it's missing again.
Will reconsidder the hide or maybe re-locate it.

Visited here with NODO. On his previous visit he couldn't get access because of a couple being romantically and energetically entwined right at GZ. This time there was nobody around, and he had help so it would be easy! However, we searched for about 30 minutes with no success - unless you count litter, bottles and a $20 note!!!!! Gave up in the end and went off to buy lunch with the proceeds! We will return one day.
Got out our poking stick, spent about 1/2 searching came up with nothing but rubbish
Found the little blighter! The recent bad weather has kept this off my "to-do" list until now, very satisfying find. TFTC!
this was the 3rd attempt at trying for this cache! last 2 weekends have been full of muggles enjoying the good weather. that tree is such a kid magnet! but today the beach was deserted and was pleased with a quick find due to great clues. lovely area -stopped a while to watch some fab sea birds! bobble in, NT. TFTC
Very interesting area to visit. Thanks for bringing me here & for the cache.
So pleased to get this one...nearly about to give up, gps doing funny things, but kept coming back to the clues and finally got there.

Finally! Had to wait for some "cuddlers" to move but eventually got it... as were perplexed at first. Keep looking! . Yahoo! Took travel bug that may have been there a while. TFTC
Pickle, Brobat & Frekl found Frekl's 1st cache. Took TB "Ellen's Bug" & left Austria to Australia TB. A lovely beach, lots of Cockle Shells!! TFTC.
Nice spot tnx I have no idea where the clue fits in though its not where I thought the clue said. just not far from it though. We had a day out with the grand kids.
Had to go back on this one as a wedding party were taking photos for too long. nice spot on Mon morning on way out of town.
first off - nice cache! its in a beautiful spot! also, dont forget to take jandals or something, cuz the ground has pieces of broken glass around it. Also, even after completing my search, i still dont understand how the clue helps.... but T4TC, I will be returning. I found that it was probably actually quicker for me to walk the beach way than to drive from my house!
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 925. Thanks.
pretty good hide, not to hard. pretty disappointed nothing was in it, might go back and put something in it, for someone . the pohutukawa tree is real cool and mean as to climb!
Nice beach, quick find....TFTC

Quite a few people on the beach today but fairly quiet near GZ. Quickly spotted the hide and retrieved the cache. A nice location to visit. Thanks.

Nice quick find now that container has been replaced. Beach was muggle township today. Hundreds of people around when we pulled up. Started raining so cleared the beach and GZ. TFTC

Had a look "under" by the second one in the most obvious place but no sign of the cache. GPS said we were in the right spot. Is this one still there? Thanks anyway.
Found it easy enough as it was on the ground and while not in plain site, it wasn't hidden in any way. I think the recent weather moved it...maybe? Anyway I put it back where I thought it should go??!!
Quick & easy find, not far from some old stomping grounds.
Cache is safe & dry.

What a neat beach but would be much nicer in summer than it was today. Quick find and back to the warm car T4TC.
#731 (5/6 on an East AKL afternoon). Found with brother Spud and three junior Spuds. Interesting spot for the kids to play, Jack spotted it in the end. TFTC.
Removed old container and placed a new one. A bit smaller, 400 ml and camo painted.
Totally muggled.
Found base but not the lid. Muggle info and ziplock is all that remains.

Found the container with black tape. Lid is gone and contents are missing except the ziplock with muggle info.
Without being able to find the lid. I did not add another log book and pen.
Busy day at the beach with a bunch of kids on a slip and slide.

Out after work taken in some of the sights and sounds and ovcourse just a little caching is always involved TFTF.
Had to hurry and sign the logbook as there were muggles that had just gone around the point and another lot were leaving the carpark. Succeeded in the mission.
This beach certainly fills up with muggles from about mid-morning. If you want a good spot for the day you have to be here about 10 am.
Cheers for the cache.

Wow! This cache had us going for a while as we didn't see it tucked away in its hidey hole. Finally when we rechecked it was discovered.
Lovely place, our 6 year old enjoyed playing on the tree.

Excellent place for a cache and enjoyed reading the cache description. The tide was out but still a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the winter sunshine while waiting for some dog walking muggles to go by.
Many thanks

Out caching today with the indomitable Kiwigary, He made the find, but we had to wait for muggles to depart before retrieving cache and signing the log. Nice views with the tide in. An interesting historical spot, thanks for bringing us here.

Today, we were on our way together with tofska on an East-Auckland-Caches-Powertour.
A heavy downpour caught us when we had parked, so because of that (and another reason) we fled into the public toilets and waited until the waterflow subsided. Then we went towards GZ, where two muggle pairs also had sought shelter. Luckily, GZ was out of their view, so we simply grabbed, logged and re-hid the cache without being seen.
Back at the car, we witnessed a newly-wed couple taking wedding photos on the bench. Interesting setting with the grey clouds.

Muggles all around GZ still sheltering from a recent heavy downpour of rain. We managed to dodge them though.
