The Geokids went solo on this one while the local magpies and I supervised from the balcony of the holiday house. Miss 10 found a likely spot but no cache. No cache, but thanks for the half hour of serenity
We had hoped to find this one today but alas it wasn’t to be. We even expanded our search and still had no luck
Thanks The Calumphing_Four and Friends anyway.
Thanks The Calumphing_Four and Friends anyway.
Attempted with Big Matt & Shell whilst in Adelaide for the Superloop 500 event.
After a reasonable search of GZ we were unable to find the cache. We did find the lid of an eclipse mint tin in a likely location but we weren't sure if this was related to the cache or not.
Thanks anyway to The Calumphing_Four and Friends for the hunt.

Our second time here today after a DNF over 2 yrs ago. A good climb up and a quick find with the cache in open view. We have replaced it further back and around the corner to hopefully stop the wind from blowing it away. No flag today but great views.
last time i was here the cache was missing. Found it this time. Took the old cache away as lid was missing and only wet scrap paper inside. replaced it with a white bison tube with a fresh log. quick find.
Out and about with sir_spectre. Sadly we are both under the weather due to medical procedures but it was a lovely day and we were both keen to get outside for a while.
Thanks to calumphing_four from mogni

Short but steep climb to the flag pole. Great views. Thanks for bringing us here. Unfortunately cache needs to be replaced as no lid and only a few wet
pieces of old logs left. Did not have anything to help. TFTC

@jesswrigley and I headed south to scuba dive down at Rapid Bay Jetty today. Conditions weren't the most favourable with the waters being choppy during preparation, a current, and visibility only 4-5 m. The main aim was to try some new equipment, including a drysuit and sidemount configuration. We then did a bit of geocaching on our return back to Adelaide, and converting a few previous DNFs to finds.
Another geocache that we had visited a few months ago and did not find, but then subsequently the cache was found much lower on the hill, and returned back to the suspected hiding spot. So today, we returned and I made a run up the hill to GZ. I remember a really good hiding spot last time, and so I immediately looked into this area, to then find the original cache container. So there you go. The cache container has certainly seen better days, as the current lid is broken (and I struggled returning the container back with the lid on protecting its contents), and the logbook is quite scrappy. Some TLC to this one may be nice, thanks nevertheless Calumphing_Four and friends.

Actually found it on our way down the hill on the north eastern side, sitting half way down in some grass. Container rusty but all notepads still in place. Signed and returned to the location we thought it was most likely hidden in, before it was discovered and removed. TFTC. A fantastic view. Found with JessMaySeek and Ellem-Mum
Found it half way down the hill. Have placed it back where we think it should have been (matching the hint)

Jesswrigley and I were taking a few stops on the way from Adelaide to Cape Jervis today. Like previous logs, had a really good look for this one around the various hidey holes. There was a perfect spot for a cache at the base of the flag pole in a big spot, but even with a good feel inside, nothing eventuates. Did look around the various rocks around, and nothing. Shame.
This is my second visit here and after a really good search and feel in the right spot no cache was found. May need checking please.
Off on a holiday adventure and staying at Normanville. Took a while to find and resorted to the pic which confirmed I was looking in the right place the whole time. A bit of light helped the situation after getting a blank on teaching in and feeling around. Log was damp so dried it out while doing the earthcache. TFTC.
The last Wednesday Wanderings for the puzzled puzzlers before heading off over the border for the Melbourne Mega next week. So Anymules has started his leave for that and today's crew was him, myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl. Heading southwards today towards Victor we took two cars so the Owl could fly off early. A very long day (and night) that stretched into the next day before I got home but plenty of smilies, laughs and three of those dreaded DNF's.
My goodness it is very windy up here. My fat hands wouldn't fit into where it had to go to get the cache. Luckily the petite Rat was about to retrieve it for me.
**Thanks calumphing_four for this cache. **

Definitely got a bit of a workout getting this one! But stunning views from the top. Totally worth it! TFTC
Found it this time in the spot I was searching last time but it wasn't there. Great views and a lovely day. TFTC
I’m not sure if what I found was the cache but it had s piece of paper inside which I signed. Nice views from up here. TFTC
Happy new year. We found on this attempt after it being muggled on a previous years outing. Love the view. TFTC
An afternoon out with Purrfect Di, Sebastbat, Jack and muggle Alex.
The flag was flying today, at half mast for remembrance.
We looked in the obvious places, including the "complete spoiler" spot.
It seemed even the replacement had been displaced.
We quickly donated a darkly painted cylindrical container, and replaced this in the GZ location,
just before another fella climbed up to lower the flag. Today and Anzac day only - trust us to come now!
We left, and he did too with the flag. A notable occasion in caching. Nice views too.
Hope you don't mind our maintenance, but we thought it worth helping out.
Thanks for bringing us here calumphing_four , and thanks for the smiley

Offered to replace this for the CO if it had indeed gone ...... got his blessing so we searched for some time to verify that the prize had indeed bolted, We replaced this with a small screw top container ... with a new logsheet. Nice views up here!!
I was with CPwanderer today...he had permission from CO to replace this cache...
I walked up & down the hill twice...I forgot my camera the first time...stunning views...a good workout...

This one is definitely missing. Didnt have a replacement with us today sorry.
Found a big hill, found a flag pole, found a big pile of rocks next to flag pole. Dismantled the big pile of rocks (made by kids) - no cache. Looked around the base of flag pole - no cache. Looked in all the other possible rock holes - no cache. Looked at the picture clue and we had already looked here. Definitely no cache where it should be. This one is missing sadly.
Took the big climb up the hill, but couldn't find it. As the previous log said, it may be muggled
Sad to say came up with the family but cache nowhere to be seen. Maybe muggled by new year revelers.
We are in South Australia for a one week holiday at the Lady Bay Resort at the golf club near Normanville. Day 3 - a day closer to 'home' - north to Myponga then back to Normanville.
That was a good little hike up the hill to the flag pole. Thanks for the spoiler photo - needed that today so we didn't spend too much time here. Interesting rocks up here - might make a good Earth Cache site, too!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 12.50pm on 27th November, 2016. TFTC

Quick jaunt up the hill, found the cache.
Needs a new log paper - next cachet bring along some spare paper?
TFTC - great view, lovely spot. TNLN

A great ride between normy and Carrie with a few finds along the way. Had to walk to get this one!
Find number 1196
Found while out caching with SnappyTomCats while down South for a couple of days. Sorry for the late and generic log...I am only new to Gsak.
Thanks calumphing_four for placing and maintaining this cache.

Down south for a couple of days tackling some caches with Tomboy711. This was a quick find on a beautiful day. TFTC
Loved the climb, thought coming down was harder. Cannot see any remnants of a jetty, but had fun looking. TFTC
After first completing 'Spooning on high' this hill looked tiny from GZ - until I had to walk up it We have driven around it many times but never thought to climb it, so thanks for making me get some more exercise and for the hunt today.
A family was sitting on the verandah of the adjacent house, luckily Geosister had her camera so made a bit show of taking lots of pictures while we hunted and hunted (and eventually found).

Kind of found it with Bek. Never would have found it without the spoiler. Very difficult hide, had to use a flashlight to even see it. TFTC
Great day out with geo moo, geo storm trooper and geo mummy, geo Nanna and geo papa

The kids found two up here, looks like the original and the replacement. The clue is that they have the same looking cache but different colours.
After speaking with the CO as to where exactly where this one should be we confirmed it is missing and we placed a replacement here with the COs permission. TFTC
