We looked at all the possible sites, can see where it was but nothing there now. So Sad cause we had to go down that cliff to look for it...seems like the hardest caches to get to are always the ones muggled..

A nice little piece of foreshore and the good hide was found and replaced just before some muggles came along.

Tumby Bay Island is nearly 3km away from this cache, at least that's what the direction finder says on the nearby viewing platform.

Not to worry, the coordinates took me straight to the cache. The only tricky bit was finding a safe way down and back up. No slip-ups were encountered, so I must have been doing something right.

Thanks Tobias fredrickson.

Mr Walker's coords are pretty well spot on for this one.
Checked the distance from Hervey Bay and it is over 180 metres so all is well .

It will require the reviewers ( TheUmp ) help to change the coordinates at the top of the page to the correct ones. Contact him and he should be able to do it .

Note to Toby and Mr Walker:
Mr Walker says "if you want to correct the cordinates on the top of the page, it would be a good idea." I think it's more than a good idea - it's a must.
Also it is more than 160m from "Hello Hervey" so that cache could stay. I'd be sad to see HH go as it one of our "nemesis" caches and I'd like another crack at it one day!

The first set of co-ords seem to be about 100m offshore, do i need a boat? (checked this!)The new final co-ords seem to be near the council chambers according to oziexplorer, is this part of a multi-cache or another wrong co-ord, let us know if you need a hand!

According to the map this was only one street over from the skull cave so i went out last night for my first cache hunt for many moons. I, also, soon discovered that the cache was either underwater or wrongly coordinated. I went round to Tobias' house and found out that he was aware of the problem, Tonight i followed the written guide and local knowledge and located the cache. Tobias' written description is very accurate, although probably only 100 metres around from the tower. The bucket was well hidden and hard to extract. I had to go back to the car and get a surveying peg to get it out, In all the excitement i forgot to sign the log, but will go back and do so on the weekend. If you are not small, or agile, take something longish to get the cache out with. The following coordinates should put you right next to the cache.

Toby, if you want to correct the cordinates on the top of the page, it would be a good idea.
S 34 23 290
E 136 06 732
My garmin was showing an error of only about 4 metres at the time i read it.
Thanks for the cache Toby, and getting me back in the game again. (Toby had no idea who Mr Walker was, until i knocked on his door last night)

You might find, toby, that this cache is too close to "hervey bay" for you to locate it here. If so i will see if i can get the hervey bay one removed as im not sure it is even there anymore.

Without even looking for this I think a coordinate check is needed as neither of the coords on the cache page are on the island.
