Last day down this part of the US and decided on a day of Earthcaches and Virtuals.....
Came out to Cave Hill and had a great time wandering (and driving) around. Visited all the earthcaches and virtuals, as well as Col Sanders and Patty Hill, although I didn't know they were here until I picked up a local map. Visited a few others that I don't know, but after reading about them, was glad that I did.
Had a chap here who was tending to/looking at, what I think would have been a loved one, so didn't hang around too long. Simply gathered the required info, took photo's and my E-mail with the answers has been sent.
Thanks for this one ARF......

This is a very moving place. I have never seen this type of burial site done so tastefully. We had fun grabbing these caches... in fact we spent a lot of time looking around while doing them. Thanks for an enjoyable Sunday morning.
Another neat area at this cemetery. I have seen nothing like it. Thanks for highlighting some of the natural features. I have enjoyed the visit and the EC.

We loved driving around and just looking at all of the head stones in the area. Thanks
Out caching in Indiana and Kentucky today. Doing earthcaches, letterbox's and virtuals. Weather is a bit humid, but another great day for caching. This was a fun cache. Thanks for bringing me to this area.

This was our second stop of the day. Some people were in the bench area so we moved very quietly without disturbing them and only counted at a distance. Answers to be sent soon.
We gave two people involved in a nearby counseling session plenty of room. The stone used here is lovely. Thanks for point this out.
Found this with Rachell and BearTerritory. When we approached the gz, there was a priest counseling a woman, so we respectfully moved to a safe distance to gather the answers for this Earthcache. The limestone here is so beautiful! TFTC!
Another cool EC, it also fascinates me that the divergent shelfs in the area fluctuate so often, FP for sure.
We noticed this area from across the water; finally figured out how to get to it! A sign said "Funeral in Progress" but there was not one at the time. Very interesting place for an outdoor chapel; very peaceful and beautiful (except for the birds) Answers emailed, picture included.
Another interesting site in this cemetary. Enjoying the tour with Marauder Mom.
Can't wait to come back when it's warmer & everything is blooming at Cave Hill.

We decided to make a weekend of Louisville and Southern Indiana caching. We targeted Cave Hill Cemetery and all other recommended caches within the area we were staying. We learned a lot and seen lots of memorable places. Thanks to all who places and maintains these caches.
