Noted a couple of black screws nearby - looked like their had been fixing up the fence. Also there is some work being done next to the fence near the bushes. I wonder if its been removed?
A quick find after giving up on the Bamboo forest cache. Thanks for the wonderful walk through the park looking at ask the fantastic plants and the scurrying lizards.

A very nice place to visit thank you.. The log is a tight fit so best to have tweezers handy. TFTC !!
Used this cache as a destination on a bike ride from home. What a moving memorial spot. Have driven past a thousand times without knowing that it existed. Thanks for bringing me here.
Quick find but had a helluva time getting the logbook out! It seemed totally jammed in there. I eventually got it, and I think the magnet was clinging on to the logbook staples, so I was sure to reinsert the book back into the cache with the stapled end furthest from the magnet. Tftc
Indeed very quick find.
Park is also very nice. Thanks for showing it with this cache.

Misleading description IMO looked all over the memorial! Had to wait for school kids to catch their bus!

Geofriend and I got yelled at by a guard through the intercom to leave the area alone after being there for barely 5 minutes. Beware guys, big brother's watching! I'll be back again.

Lovely park and a well placed cache which we found easily thanks to a great hint TFTC
Found while out cycling around Brisbane for the day. Think this Will be my second last before I head home.

Found easily during lunchtime walk. Signed log, said hello to the ladybug and was quickly on my way. TFTC.
#3396. The park remained open this evening, so wandered to have a look at the memorials. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Nice memorial for the ANZACs but with the clue and an almost battery dead gps from a full day of caching the cache was quickly in hand. SL TFTC
I was procrastinating about a uni assignment. Better go do it now this found. TFTC.
I had a lovely wander through the parklands before meeting some cachers for lunch at Southbank. Thank you for bringing me to this spot, so I could look at the memorial to our vets.
An easy find and well camouflaged... All is in good order.

New log book in place. Despite numerous logs and a maintenance request stating the book was full, I managed to find 4 blank pages and heaps of half pages. "trees people, trees"
On our last day in Brisbane, we spend some time in this beautifull parkland near Romastreet.
Had to look twice, before we could shout: yes!
Then off to the Greyhound for our trip "home".

I must be blind. I've been back to this park 3 times this week (just working 10 minutes away) and still couldn't find it.
I walked up from Roma St through the park and it was very pleasant and shady. At GZ, I was able to spot the cache from a distance, but timing was of the essence in picking it up Let some muggles wander past, a quick dive, and it's in my hand. Had to search for a spot to sign the logbook as it's pretty full. TFTC, Mr Co. A nice easy one this time [^]
TFTC .. Enjoyed this location . Geohusband found first .. I really like this type of cache , there must be 200plus school kids Monday to Friday that stand close by .. Well done
Found with brownsnakemob on this lovely Saturday afternoon. Not too many muggles around. iPhone was a bit everywhere but finally found what we were looking for.
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co

We were enjoying the beautiful gardens and made a quick detour for this cache, nice one! TFTC
Another sunny day for our caching trip around Brisbane with tmann421, a good find by tmann421 tftc
First ever cache TaD has found in Brisbane, at about 7:20am on Monday. One of the grounds staff was already maintaining the GZ, but a relatively quick and muggle-free find after the GPS settled down. The log sheet is nearly full. TFTC
I had a quick look with geoson in pram. I figured I knew where it would be, just a matter of narrowing down the options. Got the call to head back to the party though a few min into the search. Perhaps next time? TFTC
Hooray! Our 50th find! We whent straight for the cache as soon as some muggles whent by. Not alot of hunting until we found this one. TFTC .
Saw it quickly, however as school was just out the place was swarming with adolescent muggles. Super stealth was required.
Found it with Mallu. First cache of our Australian trip. Just trust the GPS. Greetings from Estonia. TNLN
Nice memorial & corner of the park, while making our rounds around Brisbane & exploring before heading home to Illinois (U.S.) tomorrow. TFTC.
Nice job hiding it because if it were night time you couldn't find it there gps was off o bit over all thanks for hiding this cach
Two brides chose this park for their ceremonies this afternoon, plus a birthday party, so there were lots of well dressed guests walking about. One set was having pictures taken with her bridesmaids so we found the cache and soon moved on. TFTC.
Both my gps and iphone hated this spot for some reason, took a while of walking around in circles before I realised where I should have been looking.
TFTC. I'd never realised these monuments were up here, the Rock sculpture is pretty cool too.

I went up the Stairs of the Knowledge and felt really full of knowledge upstairs, better than the years at university .
It is interesting to see so different monuments next to each other. I just wonder, whether the big shiny writing "ROCK" nearby is a monument to rock , that would be awesome .
The monuments are nice, and the whole park is really worth the visit. I found the cache quite easily, and there were almost no people around. I already saw a nice big 8-leg animal, which would make my girlfriend run far far away . We don't have such large spiders in the Czech republic.
Thanks for the cache, no trade.

I wasn't exactly sure why my GPS was telling me that it was in the middle of a garden... not to worry though, found the sucker With hardly a sole around.
Thanks for the cache ^_^

Thanks. The parklands are beautiful, nice walk around the park before finding.
Located 6:24 PM with Geo friend JimF. TFTC. I didn't quite believe the GPS here and when I did I found it.
I thought I would get a cache for the day over and done with early so picked this one up early this morning. Nice little hide and all in good order.

I nearly gave up on this one. Soaked to the skin in this morning's rain I was feeling in all the little places where I might find a nano, then spotted something bigger. Nice city hide, thanks.
Wow and another nice Place.
After the spoted Train also this cache found.
More Greetings from Germany
The windmill will be the next one

Made my way over from Train Spotter with a good idea of where this might be. Arriving at GZ, my GPS was pointing in the opposite direction, damn. There was a sign asking park goers to avoid this section of grass, it appeared to be damaged by heavy rain. I thought it wouldn't hurt to snoop around a bit despite the security camera, so I started checking the obvious spots. A few minutes in, I noticed what appeared to be a groundsman appearing on the hill, heading towards me. He was still a fair bit off so I decided to head on to the next cache.
On my way back to the station, I decided to retry this cache. Coming back up to the memorial, my GPS decided to agree with my original idea on where GZ was. Spotted the cache within minutes and made the grab after a couple of muggles passed. Not sure what kind of tin this is, but it is nice finding a micro that's not an Eclipse tin.

A tentative late night visit to this area with eyes in all directions. We saw a posse of local bird life wondering what we were up to. I just told them to chill out and they seemed happy with that. Sat nearby to sign the log and we were on our way. Many thanks for the cache and the featured memorial.
I was in the area for a F T F, after reading the description I knew i had to have a look at this park. I was not disappointed! The Memorial is so well maintained and the detail on the statue is incredible. It gave me such a sense of respect.
When I picked up the cache container it was wet. So I started worrying that the logbook was all wet. I was very surprised to find the log book dry and in very good condition. There was even a good seating place for me to sit and sign the log!
Thanks for bring me to a great park and showing my respect to those of the fallen.

A beautiful Autumn day in Brissie and a quick wander up the hill to this one. Lovely little corner of the park and well worth spending a few minutes reading the inscriptions on the monuments.
Found the cache pretty quickly - the coords were spot on.

Once we got to the site we were pretty comfortable about where it might be.. and it wasn't, but it was close! TFTC.
This park is so beautiful and in good condition. Thank god for all of these wonderful volunteers. Quick find, the cache is in good condition.

I spotted this one just as all the muggle children came out of school and they proceeded to sit down near it so I wandered off to do another cache near and came back when they were gone home. Log dry TNLN TFTC Thanks K8'n'Co
I really like this location. Not just because of the Roma St Parklands, but the memorial. Despite coming here many times, I have never seen this memorial. Stopped to read and digest. Thanks for bringing me here.
Like a few others I couldn't see this one from up close, but a small walk around the area and it was soon spotted. The grab, sign, replace duties done I can see how this could have been a problem for Captain Terror - although he could still get away with being a school kid.
A lady walked up nearby while I was lounging at GZ and then suddenly veered off to do a close examination of the nearby statues. She paced the area, stood silently contemplating it and then gazed off into the distance distractedly. I thought she might be a patiently waiting cacher until I noticed she was stalking a water bird, and then produced a camera to take catwalk-style photos of it. I left then.
And they call us people weird?

I wandered up and had the right idea so it wasn't too long before I could make the grab. Muggles can appear from all directions here, so needed to be careful.
All fine with the cache. I have quite a soft spot for war memorials, esp. Vietnam, so thanks for bringing us here. Grabbed the pathtag: could be a needy Albury-bound person wanting it shortly.

Pleased to land this one. The trick really is to just stand back and use your eyes.
Signed the nice new-ish log and left a path tag.
Thank you K8'n'Co. Your caches are always fun.

Tx for the hint. Just a beginner so did not know what to do with the path token. So left it there for someone who does.
