Once again, weve seen something we never would have seen if it wasnt for geochaching! What an amazing tree, Mother Nature truely is spectacular
Cool hide! And without it I would never have seen this awesome bro tree.Found with Vandahar and the kids.
TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
Awesome tree. Amazing how they grow and remain standing. Thanks for bringing me here red tag.
What a surprise! Great spot!Almost thought we couldnt locate the cache, but of course we did! Thanks for taking us here!
Took the wrong track to start with, kids found it within arms reach of the upper track. Thanks, cool spot.
This was another cache that was just off the path I was on when coming down the mountain. I considered bush bashing up to gz, but instead kept going and luckily not long ahead the path opened to the road !So I made the short walk upto see the bicep. What a magnificent specimen it is too! Just after having seen the octopus tree, this was a great addition to the odditys that abound up here.Cache easily found in perfect new condition. It was actually raining when I was here and due to the nature of the hide, everything is and always will be perfectly dry and comfortable. Amusing to think it so close to anyone passing by, completely oblivious. Thanks red tag for showing me this unique feature I would definitely have missed without geocaching as my guide.
Found it under the real bicep / the big one on the lower track not the small one on the higher track! TFTC!
Container cleaned and dried out.Logbook replaced. Added a pen.(was in the area).Just like new now
Wet cache
Cannot log it
Zero dryness
Rainy day
Bit of a bush dash
Bit of trash (collected it)
Leaves and branches falling
L’il Bit windy
Trail is slippery
Wish we had brought a raincoat

Ha! Great location, thanks for bringing me here. The cache and log was soaked, so I didn’t sign it, but next visitor should maybe bring a new one
Found it thanks.
Contents are very damp despite being well sealed in plastic container and zip lock bag.

Found with meomoo and Stricep - meomoo was the one who spotted the tree, I was so absorbed with the map I missed it! Log was soggy and barely signable but we tried. TFTC )
Another smiley face for us both and a smiley pin for the next cachers.

Our first find in Tasmania
It was too cold and windy for us on top of the Mountain so we did some walking below..
Which we loved, the path was beautiful and the cache an additional highlight, funny „idea“ and easy to find.

We didn’t plan to head up Mt Wellington today, but the clouds moved and suddenly there the mountain was, beckoning us visitors. We spent quite a bit of time here trying to pinpoint GZ. Coords were jumpy and we couldn’t make sense of it. Then we opted for a different path and - smack! - everything suddenly made sense. The cache host is waterlogged, including the bag it is in, and so is the log, in its bag. I have photos of it all, if required. This cache was delightfully unexpected. A fave from us.
TFTC!

With a bit of a drive up to see some snow then to this one where i parked up the GeoMobile.
Took the short walk to this one.
As soon as i got to GZ i immediately had a laugh. "Yep, the Cache name makes sense now"
Loved it, took a pic and then SL @ 12:38 on Tuesday 27 July 2021.
The logbook is moist but still sign-able.

gridge98 decided he wanted to go for an overnight trip to hobart and collect a few caches and also head down to port arthur to collect the old virtual. I was keen for a drive to get some hours up for my Ls and to find a few caches along the way. A great trip away and some cool sights seen.
Apologies for the generic log.

TFTC. Awesome tree. Found this one with our friends that we bumped into on the way down the mountain.
After trying the other track with no success, we headed up the n/s track & quickly had the cache in hand! Great tree!
We found this cache after a day trip to Hobart for work & finally returning to the NW before dark means we have time to collect some geocaches along the way. Thankyou for this cache!

Took a wrong turn and looked every which way for this feature. Mother Nature has a sense of humour!!
Tasmania Day 1: Hobart and Mount Wellington
Flew in from Melbourne in the afternoon, so spent the rest of the day around Hobart visiting some of the scenic spots around the city. After lunch, headed to the Royal Botanical Gardens for a visit before heading up to Mount Wellington for the views and a bit of hiking. Went to the city of dinner and to pick up a couple more caches. Great first day in this hilly city with magnificent views.

A stop on the way down from Mount Wellington. We took the wrong route initially, but backtracked and got to the right one. Still, I was a little blind here and missed the cache until my mum came through and flipped the right stone to reveal the cache. TFTC!

Day 2 of our trip to Tasmania to escape the heat of Qld with WillPunkey, Scoob and StephLego. Great spot for a cache. Scoob showed us his bicep. I also dropped a special TB here who wants to go to sporting events
Was raining but wasn’t going to stop me finding this. Tftc greetings from Malaysia.
